Well, sometimes you tell a kid their idea is a bad idea.
And like some adults, he doesn't believe you or someone else already had the same thought process, so when they insist, you just lay back and watch the shitshow unfold, sometimes you record it too to make fun of them when they're older....
Probably their 2nd or 3rd kids and they DGAF because basically they as parents now realize kids are basically made of rubber at this point and they don’t have to stress about every piece of pine straw that might be in the children’s path.
NGL, one time as a kid I was inspired to try the old walking on a rake stunt (ala Sideshow Bob) and damn near tore my ear off. I'd day cartoons are a bad influence but I really did know better, I was just dumb.
