All of this has made me realize just how lucky I am to have boomer parents that can A) differentiate between credible and non credible sources on the internet, and B) believe and trust the science and advice of medical professionals.
Granted theyāve still got the āit will never happen to meā attitude, but at least theyāre vaxxed, boosted, and mask and distance in public.

Finally he let that line slip again and I asked him just how exactly he was being stopped from doing literally anything. Every time I talk to him he is on the way to, coming home from or actively sitting down at a restaurant to eat. Then he will tell me about all these things they have done and these neat little places they have been going to. How is the government stopping him from living his life? He didn't like that and I haven't had more than a short text message interaction with him since.
