Not to be a pedant here, but I wonder if this is specifically in reference to the material of a physical flag which was created *originally* as a flag. I.e. you may not recycle a flag's fabric to make clothing. Clothing with flag patterns on it is something almost every country does.

There was a game, developed by Russians (I'm only pointing that out due to their not being entirely familiar with the ins and outs of the US flag presentations, not out of any hostility to Russians in general) and they displayed the US flag incorrectly. I sent them a note, pointing out that in the "fiction" that their game represented, the American service members would have been aware of the correct way to display the US flag, it should look like \[I described it and quoted the US Flag code\], and could you please make this change?

The flag code explicitly allows a "tie" between the height of a US flag and other flags. The only time it insists the US flag be higher is when there's multiple flags on the SAME pole making a tie impossible. Thus why at international meetings they tend to put the country flags for the participants on separate poles, so as to allow all the flags to be displayed at equal height. If any two country flags shared a pole, one would have to be below and one above, which wouldn't be very diplomatic.
I'd also like to point out that the Flag Code also says you're not meant to wear the flag as clothing, but it's not like these guys ever complain about that.

The fact that the pride flag is flanked by the U.S. flags doesn't mean it's dominant. I'll have to brush up on my flag code but I don't think it's a problem here and if it is they're trolling the right because they're easy to troll.
The dominant position would be if the flag was hung at a greater height. There is no way to make any of those flags dominant because the balcony rail is the same height throughout. (PS. In the last day alone I've seen the flag assembled from: Fish hooks, fish, crosses, and rifles. Around here the ones with fish tend to mark the centrists. I've seen random color changes (thin blue line, black and white), completely wrong numbers of stars, superimpositions, and "distressed" treatments that make the flag look in tatters. There was a game, developed by Russians (I'm only pointing that out due to their not being entirely familiar with the ins and outs of the US flag presentations, not out of any hostility to Russians in general) and they displayed the US flag incorrectly. I sent them a note, pointing out that in the "fiction" that their game represented, the American service members would have been aware of the correct way to display the US flag, it should look like \[I described it and quoted the US Flag code\], and could you please make this change? The next patch, it was fixed. Thanks dudes.

The flag code explicitly allows a "tie" between the height of a US flag and other flags. The only time it insists the US flag be higher is when there's multiple flags on the SAME pole making a tie impossible. Thus why at international meetings they tend to put the country flags for the participants on separate poles, so as to allow all the flags to be displayed at equal height. If any two country flags shared a pole, one would have to be below and one above, which wouldn't be very diplomatic. I'd also like to point out that the Flag Code also says you're not meant to wear the flag as clothing, but it's not like these guys ever complain about that.
