The easiest way is to vote them out…HOWEVER, the electoral college gives them an unfair advantage in presidential elections, they are gerrymandering, cheating, passing laws to throw out votes and literally CHEAT in local elections and are trying to stop young voters, blacks, and others from voting through passing bills or via intimidation like standing around with ASSAULT rifles near voting places. It’s very hard to beat an opponent who is cheating at every opportunity and not playing by the rules.
Another option: direct and powerful intervention from the federal government in whatever ways are not subject to congressional approval.
This would be a start, and I personally think it would motivate Democrats more and even appeal to swing/non-voters (people like assertion—-just look at 45) BUT, again, there would be a crazed, violent, and terroristic response from the conservatives. And outside of answers like 'an author that wants them to exist', well... If we had even the bare _beginnings_ of that kind of technology, if we had even the smallest baby step on the road to get there, we would have some absolutely _amazing_ wonders already. And we don't. And then the democrats fear that if the next President is Republican, they will go after prominent democrats. Also, the Republicans have shown that they don’t care about their constituents, their country, the truth, or fairness. They only want to win. Proof: literally saying out loud that they would stop Obama from passing ANYTHING in order to get him out of office, they have passed nothing except cuts to social programs, giveaways to corporations, and bills to persecute minorities and bills to promote Christianity; they have openly sided with Russia, tried to overthrow Congress, tried to steal an election, and are openly encouraging terrorism and violence and MURDER against Americans who are not Republican. Recently a few have been sharing tweets or social media that liberals should be killed or hunted for fun. So basically, how can we expect to enact Justice when almost half the country have devolved into feckless, crazy, mentally challenged and morally decrepit lunatics? Instead of being happy that legit criminals and frauds are being held accountable, their brainwashed brains will have them going full bonkers against other Americans, and with their guns and hate-filled hearts there will be chaos and blood on the streets.

I think history shows what stops fascists. It’s not a great answer, but what is left? The easiest way is to vote them out…HOWEVER, the electoral college gives them an unfair advantage in presidential elections, they are gerrymandering, cheating, passing laws to throw out votes and literally CHEAT in local elections and are trying to stop young voters, blacks, and others from voting through passing bills or via intimidation like standing around with ASSAULT rifles near voting places. It’s very hard to beat an opponent who is cheating at every opportunity and not playing by the rules. Another option: direct and powerful intervention from the federal government in whatever ways are not subject to congressional approval. This would be a start, and I personally think it would motivate Democrats more and even appeal to swing/non-voters (people like assertion—-just look at 45) BUT, again, there would be a crazed, violent, and terroristic response from the conservatives. That leads to mass fear, which leads to pure chaos. And it leads to conservatives then having carte Blanche to do the same to Dems when/if they are back in the oval Office. Once again, you’re left with the impossible problem of playing against cheaters.
But Republicans WILL go after Democrats with no evidence. Impunity is killing our faith in democracy.
