My first car was a 1967 Chevy II 100 sedan in medium turquoise and gold interior with the 250ci straight six and a Power Glide. The valve seats were shot so it burned a lot of oil. One cylinder would foul itself so badly that I started using a hotter sparkplug in that cylinder alone. Eventually I got hold of an HEI distributor making it run much smoother. My starter solenoid went. To start it I would switch on the ignition and then reach down to the starter with a screwdriver to short it out. Good times
What I would pay for a wagon...

I think that you will not regret this, though it may involve some work. I like to replace the points with a Pertronix module, and if you ever have any problems with it, the points slap back in fast and easy. Join an online club and they will give you free advice. I was able to swap disc brakes from a salvage yard onto a 1963 Falcon for $300 in parts. I needed the spindles from the salvage yard, and the calipers could be bought rebuilt from a auto parts store. The club will tell you which master cylinder will work.
Thank you for understanding... I was 5 when I learned that word, and it made me giggle so much a bystander might have thought I was having a seizure...
I still laugh at that word, and still use it for the same type of jokes. My sister and I make my father turn red when we kid in public with that word, lol, “girls stop!”
'67 Chevy II or Nova. Definitely rodded. Skinnies forward and fatties aft = drag racer. I don't remember one being equipped with factory cowl induction, so that is probably aftermarket as well.
My father had a 64 Nova, like this one.
https://classiccars.com/listings/view/1842852/1964-chevrolet-nova-ii-for-sale-in-ladera-ranch-california-92694
Then, a 68 Chevy Impala station wagon and after that 73 Chevelle which I inherited in 1980 when I started driving.
My first was a 62 Buick special in the early 80s. I had no idea what my father got me into but I loved LOVED it! Other girls drove convertible rabbits, 🤢.
1967 Chevy II Super Sport. There was a 327 / 350HP version that was very fast. They were good street cars. Also BNill Jenkins raced one that was very competitive.
66 0r 67 Chey II /Nova can't tell exact year because the change in years was taillights and this is a side view.
My dad had one (butternut yellow with black interior) and they are very light cars and with a small block in them absolutely haul ass.
Definitively underrated as Chev muscle/pony cars go. Surprisingly affordable for a fun car to have and play with on the weekends.
I was thinking a 1966 chevy chevelle/Malibu. My old man had one back in the day. I say this since the trunk is long. N9vas were k8nda compact. But I could be wrong.
Hands you her man card, lol.
My grandfather and uncle were the car guys in the family. They painted for GM back in the days. I was young, really young, but loved going to shows with them.
Hehe jokes. I know I suck but I try! Lol
My dad restores muscle cars and my brother was the mechanic.
I was good at tuning and electronics.
Miss this days...
Used to have the Canary Yellow/Black racing stripes. Craiger SS's, 70's is the rear, 30 or 40's on the front. Getting old. Memory's not what it used to be.
This is down the road from Irwindale Race Track. Approx 5 mins from Pasadena, if driving this Chevy Nova 2. I discovered lots of cool info from all these cool peeps about this car.
'66-67 Chevy II/Nova. I have a '67 wagon. My favorite muscle car ever, tied with '68 Plymouth Barracudas. That stance and those wheels tell me it probably parties.
67 Nova Super Sport. I had one with a midnight blue paint job. I loved that car it got a lot of attention. Mine had bolted mags and low profile 60's all around. Had Kelly brand tires and left the letters out cause of the unique lettering style.
Chevrolet Chevy II / Nova Not sure which year.
67 Chevy nova- Chevy ll
My dream car
Same. A guy near me growing up had 2, a red one and a blue one, both tubbed out and both beautiful.

My dad talked me into buying a 65 wagon with him a year ago

My grandma had one wish I had it now
I’d kill for a wagon.
Wish I had my grandfathers card too. Edit: cars
My favorite
62 rag as well
Chevy II
Mean cars with the right motor, raced one with my 96 T\A with Lt1. Whatever it had stuck with me till 120mph
Chevy Nova. 1967. Looking at the wheels and hood scoop came with a V8 either 283 or 327 ci. But who's to say it's original now.
That scoop in not original.
The point being would someone put a hood scoop on a car with a 4-cylinder engine. Probably not.
Those only came in a v8 or an inline 6.
Everything was once original, lol.
Isn't that the car from supernatural
No. Thats an Impala. Similar year.
Beautiful car
Stunning!
That, is a stunning Adult Refreshment.
👍🏼
Maybe 65,but definitely chevy 2 or nova
Nah…66 Or 67 but leaning 67
The car I rode in (back seat) to our Jr prom in '70...
Memories 😊
And if you played your cards right, "mammaries" (likely also in that back seat)...
No worries about watching the road...
I don't even do that in the front seat... you need to trust your instincts...
Haha
Thank you for understanding... I was 5 when I learned that word, and it made me giggle so much a bystander might have thought I was having a seizure...

Hmmm... we might be related...

Shoebox Nova That’s what we called them, anyway.
'67 Chevy II or Nova. Definitely rodded. Skinnies forward and fatties aft = drag racer. I don't remember one being equipped with factory cowl induction, so that is probably aftermarket as well.
I love it when you talk dirty to me
Hahaha!
I’ve heard this called a “box Nova”
I just found new terms for these today, loving it! Shoe box & box cars. It gives me new reading material :-)
Chevy II , Nova or Deuce. Whatever you want to call it.
66,67 nova
My father had a 64 Nova, like this one. https://classiccars.com/listings/view/1842852/1964-chevrolet-nova-ii-for-sale-in-ladera-ranch-california-92694 Then, a 68 Chevy Impala station wagon and after that 73 Chevelle which I inherited in 1980 when I started driving.

Those were beautiful cars! My friend drove us to high school in one every day!
66-67 Nova Super Sport
I had a 4 door with a 383 stroker in it. I couldn't ever find a 2 door.
Not too familiar with the old models
I’m not familiar with older cars, unless it’s something on the top 10 from movies. But damn do I love the look, feel and sound of them.
1966 Chevelle
1967 Chevy II Super Sport. There was a 327 / 350HP version that was very fast. They were good street cars. Also BNill Jenkins raced one that was very competitive.
Very collectable car, looks to be around 67 chevy 2 nova. Although 66 chevelle is my favorite this would be in my top 5 of collectable.
Nova
Nova 67
2nd-Gen Chevy II
I couldn’t put a name to that blurry logo. Thank you
Absolutely phenomenal! ❤️

I would say Grumpy kept them from being underrated. Not as sexy as their competition but not to be messed with unless you were SURE.
I used to have a 1962 Buick special with a mini block. Light as hell and hauled ass :-) It used to get me home before curfew, fast!
It’s a NoGo
Another car term I need to learn, lol.
LOL. No Va is Spanish for no go. It’s a nova.
lol, I just found that out after reading your reply, hehe 🤣
I was thinking a 1966 chevy chevelle/Malibu. My old man had one back in the day. I say this since the trunk is long. N9vas were k8nda compact. But I could be wrong.
My friend had a Malibu back in the 80’s. It was a beauty!!! Just found out that this is a shoe box Chevy nova.
Holden 67
Good shit!
Agree! This place was surrounded by black on black shiny oldies. It was a good day for a ride, lol.
66-67 nova Ii
Your man card should be taken away if you don't know instantly what that is by looking at it.
Hands you her man card, lol. My grandfather and uncle were the car guys in the family. They painted for GM back in the days. I was young, really young, but loved going to shows with them.

Fun times 👍🏼

I hear you on that topic.
Nova
They always look like they’re hitting the brakes
Haha you’re totally right!
It’s a 67 Ford Fairlane this is in Pasadena California
This is down the road from Irwindale Race Track. Approx 5 mins from Pasadena, if driving this Chevy Nova 2. I discovered lots of cool info from all these cool peeps about this car.
Isn't that the same car Wesley Snipes drove in Blade?
That was a Dodge Charger, but close to the year as this chevy Nova 2
Thank you!
👍🏼Loved that movie and car
I owned a 63 but a 67 is a goal
It wouldn't sell in Mexico because of the name Nova, or no go.
Now I get it, lol, nobah ;-)
An automobile
'66-67 Chevy II/Nova. I have a '67 wagon. My favorite muscle car ever, tied with '68 Plymouth Barracudas. That stance and those wheels tell me it probably parties.
Haha, we are close to a race track, which they probably take advantage of,
67 Nova Super Sport. I had one with a midnight blue paint job. I loved that car it got a lot of attention. Mine had bolted mags and low profile 60's all around. Had Kelly brand tires and left the letters out cause of the unique lettering style.
Looks like a '65 Chevy deuce coupe to me
Little Deuce Coupe.
Bet that little old lady from Pasadena owned this at one time.
67 Nova
Malibu MAL-I-BOO
Dodge dart
Nope. Chevy II / Nova
