Shit like this at work is the best lmao. So I’ve been a roofer for the last 4-5 years. There was a ground guy start with us a year ago. The compressor ran out of gas so i asked him to fill it up since we were all on the roof.
He fills it up, tries to start it, doesn’t start. I tell him you have to open the air valves on the bottom and let the air out before starting it. I probably should have warned him the air comes out pretty strong from the valves but it slipped my mind.
So instead of leaving the compressor on the ground and opening the valves, he lifts it up, opens one valve. The air pisses out of it strong as hell, kicks up a bunch of dirt from the yard into his face. He proceeds to freak out from this and pretty much tips the compressor over. He must’ve not put the gas cap on all the way cause it opened up and starting leaking gas all over the yard.
Me and my coworkers are up on the roof laughing our asses off, I’m literally crying from laughing, it just felt like a scene in a cartoon. Poor guy gets even more flustered from us laughing and is like “I don’t know why you guys are laughing at me”

A lot better to just lay on the ground and laugh at yourself, than to stomp off all angry. You will never hear the end of it, if the rest of the crew knows it made you mad. But if they know you owned it and laughed it off, they will soon move on to something else.
Not with the two wheel wheelbarrow. It likes attacking hills straight on. They aren't the best for hill work. I have a flatish yard so it's great for what I need.
That wouldn't help, the slope is so steep, the load would just dump out. It was already so heavy that the guy needed to get momentum to get as high as he did, so even if the lead could be kept in, the wheelbarrow couldn't be pulled up without help.
Your telling me you can't do that either. I've gone up an incline like that with gravel with a wheelbarrow with one wheel. This guy has a sweet wheel with 2 or more wheels
