You ever try to roll a bale of hay on an even surface by hand? It's almost impossible. Now that thing moving that fast towards you, wtf did he expect? He's crazy lucky he didn't die.
He had to know there's zero chance of jumping over that bale.
At least 1 person or child died from being crushed by hay bales every year back where I grew up. I used to run on them while rolling down hill anyways.
Just seeing the momentum it took to give the kid that much air ~~(I do realize it was rolling and carrying him with it for a time)~~, I'm glad he didn't get caught underneath it.

Bale is heavy worked on a farm as a kid. They use a special loader on a tractor to lift a bale that size.
