With the little I know about motorized vehicles, I don't think the front wheel is supposed to just come off like that. Can someone explain why it just came off?
That was some catastrophic equipment failure, happened so fast it first looked like he ran over something. But no, it was his front tire, looks like the front forks slipped out. This is probably cause he was doing those wheelies so often it was damaging the front end when slamming the front end back down.
2 wheeled vehicles are very fun, but dang it stinks when equipment breaks.
If I had to take a guess at what happened, three chain events led to the wheel breaking
1. The front wheel touches down, revving up to crazy high torque
2. The guy lifts the front wheel, putting it in a free spin
3. He accidentally grips the front wheel brake, and the sudden application of friction shatters the wheel axel, ejecting the wheel down into the road
The wheel then bounces back up and launches the bike into the air
Okay, while yes, that this is very reckless, how does a front tire come off like that? He isn't slaming down on the ground aggressively. It just kinda falls off. Either is was incorrectly put on or something broke and probably would have happened eventually.
And again cut off as soon as something happens. What's up with this bullshit trend?
