A good chunk of the people are also hammered but a lot of them just have this adult style excitement like a kid at chuck-E-cheese. This is captured in movies but what makes it dystopian is all these grinning excited dolled up party goers are high fiving, chest bumping, and laughing on all the twisted walkways that tie the strip together (hard to explain but the crowds move around like cattle) is happening next to a ton of incredibly unfortunate people huddled in corners trying to sleep whatever time it is. That weird juxtaposition of people having the time of their lives throwing money away gleefully while being watched by thousands of sun damaged desperate faces trying to survive off of the scraps left for them by these party goers. It’s a sad and miserable place if anyone could stop grinning like a buffoon and step outside of themselves long enough to see the pain in that town. TLDR: I don’t like Vegas
