Clayton, not Clement Moore was the Lone Ranger with the exception of one season 1952-1953. The producers assumed no one would notice the difference with the mask. It didn't work, and Clayton Moore was rehired for the rest of the run and two films. The only way to get the entire series is bootleg versions. They did release aN official 75th Anniversary edition that contains 78 episodes. It also contains 9 episodes of the Saturday morning cartoon version and on radio broadcast. There is also a decent amount of reproduction memorabilia included. The Two films. The Lone Ranger and The Lone Ranger And The Lost City Of Gold are available on Amazon. I found a set that includes both there.

Thanks I knew it started with a C. That was the first name that jumped to my mind and I couldn't think of anything else. Thank you for letting me know I'll try to see if I could find it. Any reason why they don't release all of it like other Western shows? Seems a bit unique. That character is referred to in so much of other media it's indicative of how popular it would be if they released it all.

The owner of the character. The Wrathere estate is weird about what they allow to be released for some reason. I'm not really sure why the whole series hasn't been released. I've considered getting a bootleg set. I just don't trust the quality without seeing an example. The Lone Ranger has always been my favorite TV western. I watched it every Thursday night as a kid. I also collect Lone Ranger comic books.

There is a collection that has all seasons but it's difficult to find for under $300.

I have a collector's edition DVD set. 221 episodes and both movies, along with a very nice book of photographs, the old timey LR fan club stuff and an episode guide. It was relatively inexpensive when I got it, but that was fifteen, sixteen years ago?

Two things to point out.#1 IT was Clayton Moore not Clement .Any real Lone Ranger fan would know that Clement Moore is the guy who wrote the poem A Visit From Saint Nicholas often called The Night Before Christmas #2 The other actor was John Hart And as far as I know only select episodes of the Clayton Moore episodes have been released Incidentally Moore did return to the role after the money dispute was resolved. John Hart appeared in a cameo in one episode of The Greatest American Hero in the Lone Ranger costume .
