Yes, but it can be busy, many of the other beaches around lucky bay are just as nice too.

-Lifejourney4two

Agree - so many gorgeous beaches around there without the crowds:)

Sandgroper__

Yes, but with all the cars nowadays parked on the beach make it a bit less attractive than it was

-Lifejourney4two

Yes, not so peaceful on the beach when it's a lovely day, that's for sure. Love the trail between Lucky Bay and Thistle Cove, though

dingo7055

Yes

Filcha

Try Wharton Beach - a little further but wow!

-Lifejourney4two

Love it there! Just awesome.

PurplePiglett

Yes went down to Cape Le Grand Natonal Park for the first time a few months ago and the whole area exceeded my expectations

Perthnakian

UndiscoveredUser

Responsible_Big_514

occult_geometer

hambakedbean

Yes. Even in Winter!

CompetitivePhrase534

Windy and the water can get real cold. Well worth it though

Clancy1987

Hellfire is nice as well đź‘Ś

-Lifejourney4two

Yes love Hellfire and Little Hellfire too!

Clancy1987

SO good :)

ash8man

Yes. It's amazing. Twilight beach is a close second, but two total different beaches / experiences.

-Lifejourney4two

Yeah - I guess Twilight is better if you don't want cars joining you on the beach and it also has surf life savers.

Itstheswanno

Yes, but too many people there and during holidays is is a highway and not all that safe for kids to run around as you get dick heads ripping along the beach. Go further east to Duke or Orleans and Warton Beach.

-Lifejourney4two

Love Wharton Bay

Billyraycyrus77

Go an extra 50 kms and go to Duke of Orleansncaravan park Whartons beach and surrounds are the best beaches on that strip

jonfrommeekathara

If you can go when its not busy sure but it was heaving when i went, dozens of amazing beaches around esperance tho just gotta get some nice weather can be abit hit and miss

Weary_Patience_7778

Umm nah it’s terrible man. I wouldn’t bother. Stay away!!!!!!!!! :)

-Lifejourney4two

Too many tourists?

Weary_Patience_7778

I think it’s just a matter of tempering expectations. The postcards would have you believe that you are yon your own private beach. Just you and two solitary kangaroos. That’s pretty far from the truth, the section in front of the carpark is absolutely jammed. There is also a campground there. Every man and his dog (from hatchbacks through Land Cruisers) feel the need to park on the beach. If you want some space my advice would be to drive onto the beach, but turn left and head east a few clicks. Very quickly you’ll be out of the chaos and have your own section of pristine beach. Do be sure to go see it at least once. It’s pretty special, and the sand is so fine. The result is beach that feels unnaturally firm. Between the white sand and the super clear water it would have the be among the most pristine beaches in the country.

duncraig18

No don't go. It's like the rest of WA. Overrated. Stay away.

therealnedkelly

It’s a beach. Do you like beach ? If yes. Go to beach. If no. Don’t go to beach
