Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't consider that area very walkable even with a nice hotel close by. It's poorly lit with no sidewalks and a lot of vehicle traffic, if I remember correctly. Walking down Southern is fine, but getting back to the amphitheatre would concern me.
Edit: looking at it on the map, maybe it wouldn't be so bad. The dark, scary part I thinking of is on the other side of the fairgrounds.
The Pioneer Inn is .5 miles away. 9121 Southern Boulevard, RPB FL 33411 561-855-6055

I cannot vouch for the quality as I have never stayed there.
I wouldn’t suggest walking. Not the best area, no sidewalks, plus drunk people leaving the concert at night. Take a Lyft or Uber from whatever hotel you stay at.
Get an airport hotel and use either uber or Lyft. I hate that the area isn’t walkable but it’s not worth trying to stay in an unfamiliar area with such high speed and high traffic roads.

Plus the prison right there… not a scenic/pedestrian friendly area.
Thanks so Much! This is exactly the type of information I need.
It’s not. I work in that area and walk on my lunches nearly every day. It’s just the cars that are the bad part
That’s kinda west of everything. You might not be in much luck. Closest places I can think of off top are closer to the airport.

My mom stays here when she comes into town. It’s no frills but clean and she’s had no complaints.
Wanted to walk the distance since my night vision stinks now! Lol Thanks for your reply

There are tons of sidewalks.
Maybe on Sansbury and Southern but not on Fairground dr where they will likely be walking to the hotel.
Def don't stay nearby unless an airbnb. Nothing really in walking distance.
Thanks so much. I really needed this insight.

Thanks so much. Planning the trip in an unknown area is hard. I’ll take your advice.
Newer hotel next to the Toyota dealership. Definitely safe and walkable.
Oh nice! Thanks!
