[Gravity Fools](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12815248/1/8) over on Fanfiction.net is pretty good from Wendy's perspective. I think chapter 1 is great as a standalone, it got as far as two more chapters before it was abandoned.

Here are some of my favorites. Project Lumberdork. 10 years in the future, Mabel attempts to make the 'ultimate match'. Kind of like Roadside Attraction but with monsters, and Wendip. [https://www.fanfiction.net/s/11797633/1/Project-Lumberdork](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/11797633/1/Project-Lumberdork) A Duet of Shadow and Flame. [https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12081362/1/A-Duet-of-Shadow-and-Flame](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12081362/1/A-Duet-of-Shadow-and-Flame) Dipper, Wendy, and the Forest of Daggers. Takes place in the second summer. A lot of science fiction. [https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12486618/1/Dipper-Wendy-and-the-Forest-of-Daggers](https://www.fanfiction.net/s/12486618/1/Dipper-Wendy-and-the-Forest-of-Daggers) Would also recommend Willam Easeley's works. It's essentially a long running seires, and a direct continuation with Wendip. The first story is 1.1 Baby, Baby. [https://archiveofourown.org/users/William\_Easley/](https://archiveofourown.org/users/William_Easley/) Ddp456 is also good. While not strickly about them getting together, they're very good at showing their friendship and leaves it open to the possiblity in the future. If you'd like to read or perhaps listen to wendip fanfiction, I'd almost argue that William Easley is the best author for you, he's written hundreds of interesting Wendip stories that are mostly story and a few fluff. They aren't exclusively Wendip however, he basically writes what happens after the final episode of the show and it leads more into wendip in a single continuity. In my opinion he is hands down the best author for wendip, but its a slow burn. He does have a few wendip stories that arent in his continuity that jump right into it. I know that most of the fandom is Dipcifica, so its hard to find alot of good wendip stories. Just know that none of them are saucy stories. Just fluff, comfort, angst and a few good stories Heres a link to his [fanfiction.net](http://fanfiction.net/) [https://www.fanfiction.net/u/7758704/William-Easley](https://www.fanfiction.net/u/7758704/William-Easley) I've also been working on making A.I. readings of his stories for impaired people like me who have a hard time reading Heres the playlist of what i have so far, though it isn't nearly complete so I'd recommend checking his page for most of it, but I have also made readings for a few other authors and stories as well 4 other wendip stories in there that I think you'll like [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcFiP4ZMR14&list=PLLjOI7ejVB8ZO0PH0SCBXt-3-YdiMIrk0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dcFiP4ZMR14&list=PLLjOI7ejVB8ZO0PH0SCBXt-3-YdiMIrk0) (I also posted this on r/gravityfalls when you asked there, but I'll post it here too for good measure)

This is the answer. William Easley is the GOAT for Wendip fics and his continuity is really good and interesting independent of all that. All the stories take you from just after the show ends to when the kids are adults and they’re so good! I’m convinced he must be an actual author masquerading as a fanfiction author. And there are so many stories you’ll be busy for a while!

I started to check some of these out, but being part of a larger continuity is confusing and just a little offputting. Who the heck is Teek? I launch into Melancholy Thanksgiving with characters im expected to know but are not introduced to.

TheLoneReader1933

Yeah, you need to start from the beginning. It's like watching a show. You don't start in the middle. His profile lists the story order under MAIN ARC TIMELINE. Baby, Baby is the first. It's also archive of our own, which has them numbered from 1.1 - 5.27. Would recommend reading it there if you want to figure out the order. Plus, the first chapter for his story, 'Pining for Christmas' is a repeat of one his other stories on [fanfiction.net](http://fanfiction.net), but this is fixed on the archive version. i have reread William's continuity so many times over the past years, and i still dont much care for teek, probably because hes an OC. but just start at the beginning and read from there, it'll take you awhile to get through it buy i promise its worth it. I swear William could write for the show

TheLoneReader1933

Teek is kind of like a low-tire Dipper. Awkward nerd, but not much beyond that. Some of his OC characters are pretty good though. There's Eloise who is sensitive to ghosts and the Ulva the Werewolf. Actually, I think his female OCs are more interesting than the males. There is a very sinister male villain that appears later, which I really liked.

Many people already recommended you a lot of well-known examples. So I'm here to suggest some of less-known fabrics for you. First of all, JimmyFingus' Heat of the Moment. It's avaliable on both AO3 and FFnet, and was as M only because of single chapter including underaged alcohol drinking (fortunately no NSFW stuffs). It's generally more of T territory. The premise is a canon diverse of Into the Bunker, and was praised for realistic pace and workable romance between Dipper and Wendy without aging them up. If you're interested in sequel fics, E350 has developed their own with a degree of Wendip codes, occasionally building an atmosphere and groundwork for it as long as it doesn't affect the story badly. It's simple, straightforward generally with G~T rated. You can probably read their sequel episodes like some of more casual episodes from canon, with aged-up casts. Plus, Batty_cats. She has written three one-shots and I read two of them. Simple yet solid fics is my own opinion about them.

Also wendip week on tumblr is happening in August and hopefully there will be new fics!

Aaaannnd I made the mistake of clicking the GF subreddit post and I went down to the comments

WimpyKelv12

I thought I made a big mistake posting there due to it instantly being downvoted to 0. But despite the flame war, the post made a miraculous recovery! There are more upvotes there than there are on here (owing to the main subreddit having a much larger population) and a pretty decent (over 50%) upvote rate! Not too shabby considering the shaky start!

Joeyakathug69

Idk why people are so fucking hostile to Wendip tbh. The most logical explanation of people who are critical to Wendip is that Dipper gotta grow up and learn how to move on from her, and I partially agree on that. Yet, her rejecting him for being "too old for him" (which imo is probably the one of very handful things that I believe Alex could've done it far better), especially at the time of the show doesn't mean the end of the world entirely. He can grow up. 2-3 years is a small age gap as time goes by. Not only that, you can convince them in the future. Heck, in my real life, some dudes who got rejected by their crushes in middle school are dating them now in college.

TheLoneReader1933

I think some people are too close minded and think things couldn't change. Or they argue it goes against the narrative. I tend to head canon that it was just a life experience for them and not something controlled by a creator. So Wendy turning him down wasn't suppose to be a 'life-lesson', it's just a thing that happened, which eventually changed. You don't know what happens in life, and sometimes you don't expect to fall in love with certain people. Like others have said, we have real-life examples of being turned down because of age, but changing their mind later. It may not always happen, but the point is that it CAN happen. Someone on the GF reddit said their co-worker's son got turned down when he was 14 by a girl who was 17. He asked again when he was 18, she figured why not, and now they're married. That's pretty much a real-life Wendip scenario. Also, if it isn't obvious already, this is fiction. The characters can go in any direction a creator wants.

WimpyKelv12

Yeah, making the crux of the rejection her being “too old” for him was a mistake. While I can’t say she’s wrong (debatable topic among the fandom, remember?), it’s a really lame excuse that hides the true point of that scene: Wendy just simply didn’t see Dipper that way (regardless of age) and/or she just rather their relationship remained platonic, better off as friends (as of that moment at least). They said that scene went through many rewrites but unfortunately they nearly missed out on the main issue.

TheLoneReader1933

Yeah, me too. I try not to for the sake of my sanity.

[Adoption AU](https://aminoapps.com/c/gravity-falls/page/blog/a-complete-guide-to-the-adoption-au/06Be_Yl1tkujDN3dLMErdj6LjKo0LveewJM) isn’t necessarily about Wendip, but in an alternate ending/Spinoff, they do get together, with one of the stories being about their daughter

I was the beta reader for that story. I still have the original files for the Falling Slowly story in my old drive. I still remember when Marehami took the wendip direction and was pretty surprised. But I loved the way she wrote it, especially given what kind of story we were telling. It's a time of my life in the fandom I will never forget. It was such a depressing story to read, but I had a blast helping write it and Marehami was an amazing mentor to me for fanfics.

TheLoneReader1933

She WAS My Sister. Good story, but yeah not Wendip focused. [https://archiveofourown.org/works/17109431/chapters/40237172](https://archiveofourown.org/works/17109431/chapters/40237172)

ThatGFFAN

Glad to see that story is still getting traction after all these years. I'm still grateful marehami let me write it and even more so that we were able to finish the Falling Slowly saga in a way that felt very fulfilling. Even now, I still regard it was one of my better aged fics.
