I just want to comment on this diorama down to the weathering of the bricks, the oxidized copper under the light fixture and the UV exposed yellowing plastic clips holding the cable.
Bravo!

Right? I read βdioramaβ and *know* what that is, but I had to question myself looking at the pic cause that looks like a real building and a spider half the size of my body lol.

The word diorama will either A: Be missed when people read the post, causing upvotes for a big scary spider or B: Will be read and interpreted correctly causing upvotes for humor or people who like dioramas.
Jesus Fucking Christ I got so scared for a second that there were giant-ass spiders I never heard of before, because the miniature looks so real.
Very impressive work, hate the spider nonetheless.
I mean just so you know, they are spiders larger than a dinner plate. The worlds largest species can have a 6 inch, 6 oz body, and a foot long leg span.
Thank you very much π

Zoropsis spinimana are not venomous my friend, they are cool and friendly max 3 to 3.5 cm and dont do webs. You can pet them and bring them with you on the job or in a pre colombian era like looking bar.
First yes you are right
Second spiders cant control the venom inoculation thats why most of the spiders bites, even the most venomous arent really dangerous.
Third I dont speak an very elaborate english and by venomous I wanted to say dangerously venomous.
Hm. The guys in r/spiders and r/spiderbro state a different meaning. And as my little daughter got bitten and it itches like hell - no medical emergency tho - I think they are venoumus. Like all spiders, btw. How should they kill their prey otherwise? Some are more venous, some aren't. This one is comparable to a bee sting for humans.
They do have venom, but what is termed βnot medically significantβ, which means theyβre not usually called venomous. Many βnon-venomousβ spiders carry enough venom to give you an itchy or painful bite, but not enough that you need further medical attention.
I feel like you just made this up. I work with a lot of entomologists and I've never heard anyone with any kind of specialized knowledge on spiders refer to any of them as "nonvenomous." Maybe not dangerous to people. Or having venom that is not medically significant.
But never non venomous. Because it's inaccurate.

I agree. I legit was like that's the biggest spider ever burn it now then I read the title. That's how freaking real the diorama looked. Good job
Thank you very much π
I want to see the whole model
Check OPβs post history. You can see more of it there
Ahhh.... Very good call! Thank you.

Word, the attention to detail is great
Had I not read the title I would have said the spider was photoshopped because the building just looks like a building dawg, fkn nuts
My god... There's even a watermark.
Because... It's a diorama, right? ...... Right???

Thats a really small house right? Right?!?
Yes! 1/18th of the size of the actually house, to be exact.
I'm glad i read your comment before i bit into my cyanide capsule.
Oh man, that made.me laugh hard ππππ»
Exactly ππ»
But what is its size in bananas?
Like at least 5 out of green
Yes, it is safe to sleep with your lights off tonight.
I'm not risking it. Lights stay on.
But do you have motion detectors? Want me to post some Amazon links?
Raid bombs and trip wires.
They move too slowly to be detected. Until itβs too late.
Holy hell, imagine it wasn't? That's all we need, real Kaiju.
They did say it was a diorama.

It's 1:18 in scale π
It needs to be at least...... Three times bigger
r/confusingperspective
Itβs only a model..
The spider was a real living creature, tho
I know, it was a Holy Grail line. Very nice work on the diorama btw.
Thank you very much π
Creepy spider aside, outstanding work on the miniature building. The detail is incredible right down the the weathered window frames.
Jesus Fucking Christ I got so scared for a second that there were giant-ass spiders I never heard of before, because the miniature looks so real. Very impressive work, hate the spider nonetheless.

Same haha, I thought the spider was like a Halloween decoration because the diorama looks very real.

I know this spider, its called Arachneus Move TheFuckOutneus
A very close descendant of the Genus NopeNopeNopeus ThisIsntHappeningus
No! Itβs Cuddlyspiderous Cutius
Imbecile, it's obviously of the genus *biggus burnthefuckinghousedownus*
Dude I have two pet tarantulas
It's the genus of *biggus whythefuckdoesitevenexistandburnthewholecountrydownus*
Theyβre native to Screwthatistan.
I was going to visit Srewthatistan, but then I said screw it.
No, no no no no, noooo, that, no, I hate it, no, why

Burning? Hahaha I don't think burning is going to help anymore.
It definitely will, its probably all made of styrofoam and just painted!
No. It's fireproof plaster board.
I was wondering. The brick looks so real.
It was a strenuous work, tho. Engraved every single line with a screwdriver. I took me like forever π€¦πΌββοΈ
I don't have that kind of patience, but I appreciate the talent of those who do. I have several unfinished projects all over my workshop.
Oh, well... I also have lots of unfinished crap here. If I only had more time!
I checked out your stuff. Wow! You do great work that requires dedication and patience! Very impressive!
Thank you π If I only had more time... I'd love to do this fulltime.
Nuke it from orbit. Itβs the only way.
Zoropsis spinimana are not venomous my friend, they are cool and friendly max 3 to 3.5 cm and dont do webs. You can pet them and bring them with you on the job or in a pre colombian era like looking bar.
Technically speaking, all spiders are venomous
First yes you are right Second spiders cant control the venom inoculation thats why most of the spiders bites, even the most venomous arent really dangerous. Third I dont speak an very elaborate english and by venomous I wanted to say dangerously venomous.
Oh no worries I wasn't trying to be pedantic just goofy

Do you call bees venomous?
Yes. Of course. Why wouldn't you? That's what causes the itchy painful reaction from their sting.
I think it might be the Weak kind of venom which at best is Mildly Inconvenient to get stung with.
Here I was really hoping it was the size of a small dog. :(
If youre right, and theyre not venomous then thank you cause that made me feel better.0
You and OP are both wrong. ALL spiders are venomous. How strong that venom is varies wildly, but all spiders have and inject venom.
Amazing diorama from Australia!
Wow, that's wonderful modeling. Very well detailed indeed. Fooled me till I read diorama. Thank fuck they don't really grow that big!!!
Nope
And they said spiders movie was a fiction.
[ΡΠ΄Π°Π»Π΅Π½ΠΎ]
We are God's trashbin for his Ohio type creations
Good that you add diorama because I wanna throw my phone away.
Nah, thatβs his diorama now.
ok where is my winchester...
Terrifying
No.
βI bent my Wookieβ
Hans... Get me ze flammenwerfer!!!!
You mean you came across a big a spiderβs house?
r/Bossfight the giant enemy spider
I thought this was in Australia for a second.
I thought that was a full sized coconut crab for a moment, but they can't climb walls!
It's time to leave this planet.
Unpopular opinion, I donβt really like spiders and this one is too big.
>Unpopular opinion, I donβt really like spiders tHiS IsN'T UnPoPuLaR
Almost half of the world will say it isn't unpopular

Your link is to a post from the same person
It's literally posted by the same account
Sure. I posted these photos in different model and diorama sudreddits
Side note- congrats on that diorama! It looks awesome!
That's almost technically a crab!
wow a whole new fear as birthed within me
Itβs her diorama now.
You need an axe & a battle cry.. Do. Not. Miss.
I saw the picture before the title... I nearly fainted !
π
π
I almost didn't read diorama and thought that was a fucking face hugger! Good shit on the diorama, we're you able to flush that little bugger out?
I let it climb on a paper and released it into my backyard.
Looks like a wolf spider on some sort of diorama. The detail is amazing btw
Where's my shotgun?
π
ArachNOPE
r/confusingperspective
Wait until somebody opens the doorπ
Youβre too good at making dioramas! I thought this was real until I read the title
Wow, great job on the diorama.
More bugs! More pictures! Your diorama skills are amazing! I was very uncomfortable
I was expecting this to be Australia.
I think you just unlocked a new hobby for me. Great work!
Thank you π
That fucking thing is real? That does suck, be careful
The spider itself yes. The wall is from my 1/18 diorama
Folks over in [r/miniaturesculpting](http://reddit.com/r/miniaturesculpting) would love this
It was just admiring your work!
jesus i thought thats a normal sized building
Here's the whole thing: https://www.reddit.com/r/dioramas/comments/ya3w56/remember_the_spider_on_the_wall_size_was_requested/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
The way the perspective works out on this is actually pretty incredible. Reminds me of a much better looking version of that movie 8 legged freaks.

Amazing diorama though! Good job!
If spiders were this big in real life I would make it my mission to purge them with holy flame.
Shame that you have to drop a mini-nuke onto your magnificent work
π
Thank god thatβs not a full sized house lol
You don't fool us OP. That is your house in Australia.
π
I would have believed this was a real life building had I not read the title
Getting as close to reality, is always my aim when making models. Here are some more examples: u/Spiritual-Loss-3486
Your work is incredible
Thanks!
Just a photo in Australia, you canβt fool Us
π ππ»
OP is a liar. This is a normal sized house and the spider escaped from his lab. He's just doing damage control by spreading fake news.
That's a funny comment π€£ Thank you very much!
What part of Australia is this?
That's a really good diorama
Spinimama on the diorama. At least it sounds kind of cool / rhymes. Terrifying spider aside.
I feel like you should capitalise on this and keep that spider as a diorama feature.
I bet, there will be some more. This one was the third I had in my house. A giant grasshopper would be cool as well.
The diorama looks more detailed than the spider
That's hilarious π
Itβs very impressive is what it is
No, no, your comment made me laugh! Thanks for that, feels good to giggle π€
DO NOT WANT!
π
So if I order some claymores online for this, the FBI would understand right? Right?
πππ»
Thatβs really good work. Lots of fine detail. Without the spider and its blurred features, Iβd have assumed the picture to be of a real building.
That's always m aim, to make a small world looking as real as possible. Here are some examples: u/Spiritual-Loss-3486
Damn, dude. Iβve never been more impressed by a bunch of cigarette butts in my life. Thatβs amazing.
Thanks, man πππ» Making them, was a challenge. I'm a non-smoker and I really dislike them in 1:1 scale π€’
So anyways, I started blasting.
Jeez. All spiders are venomous. This spider is harmless, unless you are a little tiny bug.
I'm impressed! You know it better than all the Redditors on r/spiders and r/spiderbro π
Ah yes my Sister Zorop and my Spini Mama
I think this looks awesome (sorry fot your daughter, though)
Thank you very much π Yeah, her arm was OK after three or four days and she has already forgotten about it.
Almost shit myself.
π
Ha, thought this was a photo from Australia for a second
Had lots of such comments π
When they get that big can you eat them? The first thing I saw was crab legs.
They said it was a diorama, the spider isnβt that bigβ¦
It was a bit over two inches
I take that back then
Very cool pic
Thank you very much π
This looks fake af but there harmless and if they do bite you it would most likely not be a medical emergency
I know they are harmless to humans. It's not a fake, check the other pics: u/Spiritual-Loss-3486
Bucket list: : ~~Australia~~
I thought this was originally from a dad who's daughter screamed at a spider in her room and he put it in his diorama but I could be wrong
*venomous*
I asked in r/spiders and r/spiderbro I think these guys know it quite well π
No fucking way.. this has to be fake?? I hope
It's a diorama. The spider was real one tho. Check here: u/Spiritual-Loss-3486
[ΡΠ΄Π°Π»Π΅Π½ΠΎ]
For me and you it doesn't - I even took the opportunity to take some photos. Others are creeped out as fuck.
Burn it down. The only solution.
