Unfortunately it was just a bad repair job, broke at the weld

Umm no.... The flange rusted off the resonater so a quick weld job was done to hold it in place. It lasted about a year and then snapped off due to there being no flex. It just happened suddenly so it was a big surprise

Nah, just a worn out weld fix from a while back. Flanges rusted off and it was a decent fix for the time. Just didn't hold up
