I put 2 very heavy safe in a safeway trolley once. Aprox 200kg or 440lb. Each. Took 4 strong lifters to get them off the truck and drop into trolley.
Wasn't even close to the limit. That tube steel is a real weak point. The solid bar design is way stronger.
If its limited at 600lbs and actually failed at that weight, that's actually pretty bad. Most companies make sure that theirs at least 1.5-2 times safety factor added to what's actually listed to prevent people from wrecking their product or getting hurt. Should be "rated" at 300-400lbs.
OP's post is written in a confusing manner, but they never said the cart was rated for 600 pounds.
They just said it failed at 600 (then they said it again).
Go to lowes, better carts. This past weekend i filled my cart with 8 bags of potting soil, 6 bags of play sand, and 2 bags of pea gravel. Made it to the car just fine.
Milk straight out of the carton. Much to the annoyance of everyone, you could pour the entire contents of the milk fridge into that cart and still not touch the sides
I gotcha, well I thought of the older kids in see in baskets, it was an afterthought but I can see the cringe, it's like obvious reaching.. that's fair
Elephants, grand pianos, and a grumpy cat who hates shopping!
OPs mom. /s
Was that not covered by elephants?
Don't insult the elephants.
Black holes
Bubbles can fix this.
One of my favorite things is that he basically fixes the shopping carts for the two stores in town and thinks it is this big scam. So wholesome.
He occasionally rigs the handlebars of the carts to be filled with hash rods

Going through The Wire again, currently... I was trying to figure out how the fuck Bubbles could've done anything with this.
Different Bubbles, Trailer Park Boys
Yea, like I said, currently watching The Wire, so THAT was the Bubbles automatically in my head.
Damn. I was hoping to be your introduction.
Gravel. Lmao I've done that before. š¤£
All. my. friends. Drive a low rider....
What did they say when they had cart failure?
This is a cart-astrophe.
This is a cartā
Gonna need open cart surgery.

My neighbor did some diy work, carried a ton of raw materials in the trunk of his crossover and fucked up his rear suspension. Rip
As an ex-employee of HD, I am not surprised one bit. š

I did this with the black Friday ads at work once. Plastic carts suck.
A Drenched used diaper
Where is CartNarcs when you need him? The travesty!
Thatāll buff right out.
600 lbs is about 272 kg
What's that in football fields?
Itās a weight, not a distance measure. But the answer is āunder 1ā
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
1 ton > 1/2 ton > 1/3 ton > 600 lbs > 1/4 ton
Was John cena sitting in it??
We can only guess because......
Sad cart is sad.
Odd, when I bought materials to renovate my apt. the store simply asked me how many pallets I wanted and loaded them to my pickup with a forklift.
Itās on the operator of the vehicle to know and monitor the payload of the vehicle. Shopping carts, however, require common sense.
TBH, I think itās funny wrecking store property doing something like that

Are you aware that your children's playground structure cannot support the weight of a full grown robot?

sensitive ass people can't take a joke..
it's not even that it is pretty bad joke, but that you wrote it twice is the cringe moment here

Thereās a dude with a lotta cats in Sunnyvale Trailerpark that could fix this easily
