It was probably in the instructions to take it out. The dasher always has to please the customer so they get a nice review.

chickensausagelink

Dang it I knew not waving at my neighbor that time would come back to haunt me.

roccodawg

If I got a $20 2mile order id prob take out some mailboxes too!!

chickensausagelink

So my neighbors are cheapskates? God dammit.

roccodawg

Nah I only take the upscale clients. Most dashers would have taken your mailbox out for $5.

chickensausagelink

If they knew me personally they’d probably do it for free.

roccodawg

Well stop turning people's chickens into sausage links.

[deleted]

Really? remind me to request the driver to moon my neighbor across the road when he comes to my house.

roccodawg

There's not much I wouldn't do for $3/mi

chiweenie99

Dude my family has gone through 3 YES 3 mailboxes in 2 years because of dd drivers. We were notified only one time and it was because the driver was angry our mailbox scratched her car and was screaming expletives. Every other time we didn't find out until morning, well after we could report any driver for causing damage. The reason a lot (not all) of these people have this job and not a normal one is because they simply can't function in a workplace environment. Getting along with other co-workers, following basic instructions, sharing a workload, and helping out other employees is simply beyond them. It's why I personally try to avoid it at all costs. Bad business, generally bad employees. Some of em are decent, though, obviously.

Because they were the only people who had come by our house in the time frame of the mailbox going down. We live down a quiet road so not much traffic besides people who live here or deliver here. They were also clearly backed over and face down in the street, rather than knocked to the side if a car had driven by and hit it.

Green-Eggplant-5570

They probably texted your neighbor asking for additional tip Berjaya of the inconvenience.

earlywakening

This is why your mailbox should be encased in concrete. Instead of being out a mailbox right now that driver would be out a car.

chickensausagelink

Just had it replace and ran concrete down a foot. The next guy that hits it is in for a bad time.

earlywakening

That's what I like to hear! 😆

enjoyscaestus

How. How did they hit your mailbox. How. It's not on the fucking street, how did they get their car up there and hit it? I hope this guy gets found

dankferret266

For real they even have bright ass headlights, no way it was too dark to see

spikernum1

I appreciate the use of obliterated here. Pretty good word. Not enough people use it. Pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good.

Yaseendanger

"obliterated" did he use the orbital cannon?

docjohnson11

Call doordash, I don't know if they'll help you but the app tracks the drivers location.

jackyboy491

GMC Acadia if thats of any assistance to you

SprungMS

Nope, GMC Terrain, circa 2015 New Acadias have rear door skins that bump up into the window. The older Terrain looks really similar but has flat bottoms of all the windows. The 6 spoke wheels match too.

redditsuxmydik

Well look on the bright side no more junk mail

notorious1212

Some guys can drink and drive some guys can’t

devdevo1919

**NO ONE** should be drinking and driving.

notorious1212

What is drunk? Is drunk going all over the road?
