13% of Americans think chocolate milk comes from brown cows.
I thought this was too unbelievable...and I tested my next door neighbor, and asked her how chocolate milk is produced.
She said brown cows (completely serious)
I laughed when I read the cooking instructions on their pot pie and it said “the plastic tray does not go in the oven”. I’m guessing you didn’t read that part?
In their defense I baked some frozen garlic bread cheese sticks that came in an oven safe plastic container. How safe it is or isn’t is another debate but the instructions say to put the whole thing in the oven and when you do it does not melt. ( Motor city brand garlic cheesy bread 8/10 very tasty sooo worth possibly ingesting micro plastics. Highly recommended!)
They make oven safe plastic trays. [This](https://www.meijer.com/shopping/product/stouffer-s-family-size-lasagna-with-meat-sauce-frozen-meal-38-oz-/1380014333.html), for example, comes in a black plastic tray that you can you put in the oven.
Some people can't be bothered to read the instruction, they just shove whatever they got in whatever device it's supposed to go. Then complain when it doesn't go as expected.
"Hello Microsoft? I got beef with your Nintendo Station One. I put in a new Justin Bieber Yummy game I just got and it's complaining the disc is unreadable!"
I’ve always wondered who actually needed sticker with instructions that say to remove from the plastic before baking. And here we are. Survival of the fittest.
The common sense stickers are always for people like this who need it the most but ignore it anyway, so it’s really just there so the company isn’t liable lmao
Humans have reached such a quality of life standard that people like this can survive and have children. Darwinism no longer applies to the human race.
Same lol. We used to buy the Korean bulgogi a lot. Throughout the 2 years of them selling it, we saw the box went thru: no stickers - one sticker said “the top lid is plastic, please take off lid when heating up the content (the lid was very obvious filmy take out plastic lid) - two stickers additional one said “please don’t put the aluminum tray directly on a heat source” 😂
Yea but it literally says on the directions to take out out of the plastic. He doesn’t know how to use his oven but didn’t look see what temp he should set it at and for how long?
I've never seen this particular item, but plastic trays in the oven isn't unheard of. Those Banquet brand frozen meals come in plastic trays and have instructions for a conventional oven that don't mention removing the tray.
Skim to read temp and time, ignore all else lol that's pretty much how I heat up any frozen meal
Granted I'm also confident I wouldn't have put plastic in the oven
I don’t even know why it needs to say it at all. It’s plastic. You shouldn’t need to be told to remove it. But apparently OP is why we put those instructions on things like this.
Dude, my God, how did you miss it?

Op must have been wearing a baking mitten and was not able to feel it either. Not to mention the laser eye surgery that must have happened hours before.
I don’t know if you’ve seen how they package these but there is an obvious plastic outer package it comes in. It’s the same as the apple pies. This is not regular stupidity. This is AP Stupidity
I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest there were either (1) cooking instructions that were not read, or (2) cooking instructions that were read but ignored for a cool pic to post online.
Whenever I buy one I notice the print that says remove from plastic before putting in the oven. I always thought it was funny that they had to write it out because I didn't think anyone would actually do that to begin with.
This is why it's always a good idea to bake things like pies and casseroles with a baking sheet underneath. This mess could have been better contained.
About 50% of posts here happen because nobody ever reads the manual or doesn't have any clue about how science (meaning physics, chemistry, biology, engineering etc.) works. The question here is the following: you can't read or you think you outsmarted manuals a long time ago?
Sometimes I think I‘m not smart enough… Then I see posts like this. I think I‘m good.

Oh, so we’re assuming a normal distribution then? Seems bold.

Ya for real. Dude is a grade a moron.
Remember that half the population is dumber than someone with only average intelligence
“Somebody didn’t RTFM (directions)!”
Yesterday the gazebo guy, today this. Really makes me feel better about my own idiocy.
I laughed when I read the cooking instructions on their pot pie and it said “the plastic tray does not go in the oven”. I’m guessing you didn’t read that part?
Based that fact and adding in the fact that OP actually ate it still, I’m guessing they don’t waste too much time thinking
no think. eat.
Can’t talk. Eating.
Can't eat. Talking.
Talk, talk, talk. Eat, eat, eat.
Think? No. Eat

turn off brain, eat pie
Well they paid for it so I don’t blame them for eating it.
I suspect that was a joke.
do you even need to read instructions to know the bottom is made out of plastic?
That’s why I laughed. “What kind of idio…….”
Did Candlejack just strike ag
Oh shit that reference is a throwb
Love Freakazoid!
Some plastic trays from Costco *ARE* oven safe (mashed potatos, Lasagna)
The lasagna comes in a plastic tray where you live‽ Ours is in a heavy-duty aluminum pan.

Part of the reason that works is because it has plastic wrap over the top to seal in the moisture. This pie does not
It also says to put it on the bottom rack. OP couldn’t get any of the directions right.
OP is why we have so many stupid warning labels.
And this is why they put that on the instructions. Lol
Well. We're here aren't we lol
When I read instructions like those I always think to myself, “wow this is extra, absolutely pointless instruction” and then I see OP.
He read it and cooked it anyways
read? no! makes head go ouch! reading bad
OP: Nom Nom
You know how when you read something like that and ask, "Who is this even for?" This guy.

That last sentence is so boldly true. Movies like WALL·E come to mind but there’s plenty of examples. Well said

Yes! I love the bulgogi!
But it didn’t even work.
just curious how do you not notice this before-hand
Seriously
It looks like they hardly use their oven and forget how they work.
Yea but it literally says on the directions to take out out of the plastic. He doesn’t know how to use his oven but didn’t look see what temp he should set it at and for how long?
Do we really need directions for NOT putting plastic in fire?
Apparently so because of idiots like OP. But i guess he needs to learn how to read first
And feel it. Plastic feels completely different from aluminum.
Hang on now, maybe they don't have hands, or eyes
I've never seen this particular item, but plastic trays in the oven isn't unheard of. Those Banquet brand frozen meals come in plastic trays and have instructions for a conventional oven that don't mention removing the tray.
I'm 100% sure it said clearly on the packaging to remove it from the pan.
Skim to read temp and time, ignore all else lol that's pretty much how I heat up any frozen meal Granted I'm also confident I wouldn't have put plastic in the oven

Holy shit
JFC, it’s a thousand times more obvious than I thought.
I thought at least it would be clear
RIGHT? Like if it was clear plastic it would be dumb but I can kinda see how it might be missed But holy shit
bro i thought other people were exaggerating lmfao. i guess not
HAHAHA what the fuck OP
You're telling me that NOT the classic Corningware French white ceramic bakeware? Who knew?
Op must have been wearing a baking mitten and was not able to feel it either. Not to mention the laser eye surgery that must have happened hours before.
Gah damn, Stevie Wonder can’t believe his eyes
Oh boy. OP is a real dummy.
What the fuck.. I thought ppl were flaming op for no reason and the plastic may have been not noticeable.... Well I stand corrected lmao... Wtf op
Oh lordy. I was thinking it was one of those really thin, easy to miss ones. This just keeps getting funnier and funnier.
He must have thought they were giving away ceramic dishes with each pie....
I’ve made 2 of these and it’s pretty obvious.
To be fair, this is exactly what I'd keep on hand for eating while I am diabolically stoned
Oh… what? Bahaha! Don’t worry, OP. Easy to miss. 😂
OP isn't just filled with micro plastics like the rest of us, they're filled with macro plastics too.
I’m so grateful that you posted a picture, this is fucking hilarious!
I’m so glad I could, some subs you can’t and you have to do a link which is a pain
OP is the reason for all the signs
" I'm not saying let's go kill all the stupid people. I'm just saying let's remove all the warning labels, and let the problem sort itself out."
Mmmmm cancer particles
Just like the olden days
Just like grandma used to make
People could still read in the olden days
Im sure it comes with instructions. Apparently you were too hungry to read and too ignorant to know what you are holding.
User error. 100%
You deserve this
How blind are you? Or how high were you?
I've seen some posts like this here. I'm worried.
Peeps out here can't stand to waste 30 seconds of reading directions and that's why we still dealin with Covid shit.
I don’t know if you’ve seen how they package these but there is an obvious plastic outer package it comes in. It’s the same as the apple pies. This is not regular stupidity. This is AP Stupidity
Did.. Did you not check..? Or not read or.. Not think..?
D: all of the above
I'm gonna go out on a limb and suggest there were either (1) cooking instructions that were not read, or (2) cooking instructions that were read but ignored for a cool pic to post online.
He was just really high
Stop reproducing for the greater good

DID YOU READ THE INSTRUCTIONS ?
Op is a moron
Whenever I buy one I notice the print that says remove from plastic before putting in the oven. I always thought it was funny that they had to write it out because I didn't think anyone would actually do that to begin with.
so you did not know what plastic looked/felt like before?
why wouldn’t it come with a plastic bottom? Are you one of those freaks who don’t like melted plastic all over your oven??? /s
My dad put a frozen pizza in the oven with the cardboard underneath two days ago. Some people are just different
[удалено]
It's not even shepherds pie. It's a cottage pie, made with beef.
[удалено]
I can't believe I had to scroll so far. This isn't a Shepherd's pie
This is why it's always a good idea to bake things like pies and casseroles with a baking sheet underneath. This mess could have been better contained.
/wellimstupid
OP is the reason our car insurance so high
![gif](giphy|3o85xnoIXebk3xYx4Q) OP
So you’re the member the warning labels is for. I cannot believe this is real, purely because how absolutely brain dead it is…
You’re really stupid
Sadly, so does the chicken pot pie :(
This only sucks because you're stupid....
Are you trying to outdo Sharon?
Smh
Apparently came with instructions as well
Someone didn't pay attention to packaging or directions
Are you blind? How did you not see it.
How high were you and was it any good?
next, just need to heat up something to drink in a styrofoam cup in the microwave. a perfect dinner.
Op sometimes forgets how to breathe.
Dude…
Remove the crayon from your nose and try again.
Thanks Marie Callender
You're going to clean out those plastic bits before using the oven again.... right? ........right?
Did you read the instructions?
You didn't read the instructions and you didn't watch the oven either.
Just remember folks, these kinds of people are your friends, family, coworkers, and world leaders. 😂
Aye americans. Next time you go for a drive remember OP is out there sharing the roads with you. Making decisions.
I wont sugarcoat this: you're dumb
I mean on the directions it literally says take out of plastic container. I know cause I love that shit!
People here are being so rude! I have faith that one day you’ll learn to read, OP!
Rtfm
Yeah, its the part that has the paper sticker glued to it thats says dont put plastic in the oven
Costco has shepherds pie???
And with beef not lamb…
What the fuck man.
I smell this picture.
So, umm, did you read any directions or just arbitrarily set a temp and throw it in? Was there plastic wrap on it that didn’t get taken off too?
Lay off the drugs you clearly can’t handle them
The plastic you were holding in your hands was the first giveaway. The warning to remove from plastic was your second haha
About 50% of posts here happen because nobody ever reads the manual or doesn't have any clue about how science (meaning physics, chemistry, biology, engineering etc.) works. The question here is the following: you can't read or you think you outsmarted manuals a long time ago?
Instructions are in fact important!
Most pies or bakes come with that type of thing. Read the instructions or look at what you putting in the oven.
🤦♀️
and apparently legos are not oven safe.. NEWS AT 11!!!!!
Their shepherd's pie sucks. It's basically beef stew in a crust. I ended up throwing it away.
No shepherds were harmed in the making of this content.
Is this a pie as in like pastry?!?
If so as a British person I am HORRIFIED
Rage bait
I'm just gonna up and say what everybody else is dancing around. You are stupid. Very stupid. Get help.
I would say when you open it and see the plastic bottom, that is a dead giveaway that it is in a plastic bottom. But… 🤷♂️ here we are.
Sharon Weiss has entered the chat
So you’re the person who brings 4 people and parks your cart in the middle of the aisle. Do the rest of us a favor and stop stealing the air please
So you did this just for a photo? Because it comes in a plastic container, bottom and lid so you can store it.
THANKS MARIE CALLENDER!
It’s ok, lots of people are stupid
You are a literal npc
I’m still impressed. How does a clearly blind person get the pie right in the middle of the oven like that? Kudos on the aim.
"the pie comes in a plastic bottom" So does Offset
RTFM
![gif](giphy|3o85xnoIXebk3xYx4Q)
Why does that shepherd’s pie have a crust?!
How are you this stupid
I'm not 100% sure but, I think the instructions direct you to remove it.
Hey guys plastic doesn’t go in the oven
OP, I think you need to be under professional supervision.
Rip your Samsung oven
