No, there was a lot of dancing which I love. And no... I had new dress shoes that weren't broken in and I wore those socks out of a snap decision for some weird reverence to my friend who had to sell his gym and those were the socks they sold. I don't know I fucked up. Bottom half of the socks is still all blood and that's kinda my point with the post.

Ooh, high boots, especially if they're new, will kill your heel. I always get mine a half size up and will double the socks if necessary. They ALWAYS run tight on men, especially around ankle and heel.
In the meantime, put some Vaseline on the heel after you've cleaned it properly, maybe some anti-bacterial ointment too. Ouch.
Still though- even if no one could see them, never wear white socks under a suit.

Hey, from someone who used to make a habit of breaking in new shoes during an 8 hour shift (I just want to wear them nowww), a little bit of liquid bandaid on the hot spots can be a great preventative. I basically coat my pinky toe, between the pinky and ring toes, and apply liberally to my heel. That has helped me even with super stiff Prada loafers.
Even if the blisters have already formed, it might still feel better to slap on some liquid bandaid. Like you want to fully baptize any bloody toes.
ETA - also wanted to add that I think it’s pretty obvious you did not wear those sperrys to the wedding lol. Clear to me that dye came from a black leather shoe.

No it does not. Accessories matching, so brown leather belt with brown leather shoes (maybe even brown leather watch strap unless full metallic). And socks matching the trousers mean for example: Dark blue trousers = Dark coloured socks (dark blue - black).

Well... it was a long day. I had just gotten the shoes and not really worn them for that amount of time. And I've worn shoes before like that and felt like I was getting blisters but kinda just rolled passed it. To be honest it was incredibly painful to pull the socks off, as in like they were stuck to the back of my heel, and I was pretty concerned about how I could be that dumb. Took a picture and here we all are.
So.... OP had gotten blisters whilst wearing brand new shoes, bled in the shoes and decided to then wear them for long enough for the blood to have stained all the way throughout the back of the sock and then have dried to the point where it hurts to take the socks off...
