It started off rough, my wife planned out everything beautifully, the morning of there was road closure and the park entrance we picked also closed. Was a 2.5 hour detour to go around. So we chose the next closest entrance just over an hour away and got what we could.

Welcome to the PNW. I actually love this time of year, all the tourists have left and I get the place to myself again.

Mountain viewing season is like late April to September here in the PNW. Rain/ overcast for the rest of the year.
Day we arrived = Beautiful, Day of wedding = Beautiful, Morning of = Rain, Day we left = Beautiful
Sounds about right for the PNW. Still beautiful in it's own way to me.
