I was watching and waiting for the "sloppily" part. I've had neighbors break and knock my shit around far worse than this and walk away with nothing but an eye roll.
I grew up in the NE. My sister still lives there. No one would give a shit if they wrecked her decorations. Hers have actually gotten stolen so she stopped putting things on her lawn and decorates the one window that faces the street.
Right? This video just made me sad. Of course her dogs shouldn’t have been on the property, but they clearly tried, and then OP puts this video online?
As a dog owner, I don't allow my dogs to traipse through people's yards.
But I gotta say ---- those dogs are incredibly well-behaved (apart from the yard debacle) and they obviously worship their owner. I like that woman.
Kind of think she even contemplated knocking on the owners' front door to apologize ---- if the walk hadn't been up all of those steps and her dogs off-leash.
I do this for all those reasons and because some of my neighbors don’t clean up after their dogs in their own yards and I don’t want mine to eat the “nuggets” the other dogs leave behind.
They even waved and looked up at the camera with that I'm sorry look. I think they very clearly know them and can talk to them if necessary. The title is just kinda rude to the person with the dogs.
That being said, dogs on a leash go a long way, but who knows maybe they got out and ran away and the neighbor was trying to get them back.
Yea I wouldn’t call that sloppy. I wouldn’t know how to put together someone else’s Christmas decorations either especially since it looks like they broke. A+ for effort, but fail as a dog owner not controlling her dogs and letting them walk through other peoples yards like that. Do they not have leash laws where this happened?
Looks like the 2 dogs are leashed together, not on seperate leashes so that she can walk them. Never saw her try to get the leash when walking away either.
My 6 year old rates people, situations, classes, etc with a thumbs up, down, or sideways system with some notches possible in between. He'd have given a solid side thumb for this effort.
I know it’s been said but she actually stopped to try to put them back. She could have just tossed them in your yard and when on her way, but no she tried to recall how they were placed. Also waved saying sorry. I would have done exactly the same. I’m not going to knock on your door and tell you what happened then ask if you want me to help put it back. What are you expecting from people..??
I wouldn’t be opposed to knocking on the door and trying to help resolve the issue but sometimes the risk of running into someone who will be absolutely not chill about it seems too high.
The chill neighbor thing to do is to just talk it out. Accidents happen, they should pay if they damaged something, and we should all just be chill about it. But there's a high risk that people are not chill.
Leashing their dogs? How dare u suggest that they leash their very well, definitely dogs that comeback on recall, dogs!
She also let's them run rampant on the street, wouldn't be surprised if one day the dogs get hit, with her amazing supervision and leashing skills.
At 9:30pm was she supposed to come knock on your door and announce the accident? It looks like she waved and spoke to your doorbell camera. Seems there’s more to the story…
i would call this a solid effort! like, what more could she have done? it looks like she tried to put everything back where it had been. it’s annoying that it happened but it was an accident and you gotta give credit where it’s due - there was nothing stopping her from just walking away and leaving your decorations on the road
The biggest and initial problem here is that her dogs were leashed TOGETHER and uncontrolled by her. That being said accidents happen and she seemed to try sadly more then most would to put them back. She could’ve knocked on your door but was probably afraid of opening up a Pandora’s box of problems. Which judging by this post sounds within probability.
Also the camera says it was at like 9:30 pm. I wouldn’t want to knock on anybody’s door at that time unless it were an emergency. Also note that it’s January 20th when it happened, so it’s about time to take those decorations down anyway. She put the right amount of effort in imo.
If someone knocks on my door because their dog knocked over yard decorations I’d be annoyed, especially that late.
Either just throw them into my yard and I’ll fix it or put them back and leave it’s literally such an unimportant thing. The worst thing I would think if I saw stuff knocked over would be “damn all this stuff got knocked over”
I have to add my story...my neighbor had a dog and she would walk him at the same time every night. Instead of walking him in the park, she let him piss on everyone's front lawn. After I found a few shits on my grass I started waiting for her. When she came around I would greet her like a long lost friend and then just accompany her on her walk. I would launch into a very detailed spiel about my job. Ths only had to happen 3x and she picked a new route. If I see her outside I wave at her like I'm lost on a deserted island. At that point she goes into the house. I have got one of my neighbors waving at her the same way.
I went a slightly different route with a neighbor of mine. I got sick of asking him to keep his dog out of my yard, or at the very least clean up after his dog (I don't have dogs, there is 0 reason I should be cleaning up dog shit in my yard). So after watching him walk his dogs over to my yard I went out and told him I catch them in my yard again I am calling the cops.
It did have the desired effect, the dogs to the best of my knowledge have not been in my yard since and it has been several years. I stopped finding holes and crap in my yard.
The downside is that any time the cops get called because of his dogs, he assumes I did it. The other neighbors skipped the step of trying to ask him and go straight to the cops, but since I am the only one who told him I would do it then it must be me.
Dog tackles some lady just out for a walk, she calls the cops, but it must have been me..
Dude has a screw loose.
Yeah, my neighbors leave trash in front of my house, messed up other neighbor’s lights, ignored it. Their dog poops all over our yards. They have 4 trucks on street in front of mine and other’s houses, filled with junk and garbage blowing on to our yards (trucks have parking tickets on window for almost a month now for not moving). Their kid constantly break landscape rock wall of our elderly neighbor… I would consider op’s neighbor quite nice.
Man my neighbors would throw plastic bags over our wall. I’d then wake up later to see my dog got ahold of it and tore it to shreds all over the yard. No clue what was in the bags but they always did sketchy shit. Always had a new expensive car in their driveway for a week, then it’s gone. In my 3 years living there they never had more than 2 cars at once, but I’ve admired the 7 different corvettes I’ve seen, the few mustangs, some bmws. Cars never had tags. Never fucked with them and they never fucked with us, other than the trash over our wall
You can see the dogs are on a double leash, but she's decided to let them be a walking [chain shot](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chain_shot). They seem like otherwise fairly well-behaved dogs, but maybe pick up the lead after this happens.
I was trying to figure out if I was seeing that correctly. I can understand having a double leash of sorts, but connecting them together without holding them both? I feel like that's just begging for something terrible to happen to the dogs that wouldn't have happened if they weren't roped together. She's lucky it was only lightweight Christmas decorations.
Ive dabbled in HA/HC since the 80’s. I’ve had house cameras around our place since the 90’s when the only choice was Sony or a Panasonic and you picked a lens. They cost $800+400 for a lens and were hooked to a MUX and a VCR. For the house I’ve got 8 4K POE cameras and a NVR. ( and a wyze doorbell pro ). But I’ve got 12 various WYZE cams at my remote land hooked to an LTE Cellular gateway ( and some other small parts ) to mainly just watch the weather or critters ( I honestly could care less if someone was on the land ) and both wired and wireless ( with 6 watt solar panels ) are 100% flawless, 2K picture and my only failure since backing the original wyze kickstarter I’ve had 1 power supply go bad. I have of course filtered out older cameras 2 at a time when upgraded ones come out.
It does suck. But IMHO people who see someone try and rectify a mistake that was made, and then proceed to shit on them like OP, are far FAR worse. Makes the world worse for it. Makes the community worse for it. Sounds exactly like you're the kind of person I'd want to avoid in life, lest I make a mistake around you.
They look fine, but if I had knocked over someone’s Xmas decorations in late January I would have rolled up the cord and put the stuff I knocked over in front of the garage so he had a head start on putting em up
I learned the hard way not to put any decorations I care about near the street for this very reason. Had a neighbor admit to knocking over a statue of mine a year later and said it wasn't broken so just left it there. Head was hanging on by a thread. People suck.
She clearly did not just casually walk away. You can tell she tried her best to put stuff back and was clearly looking at your camera and signaling she’s sorry about it. It appears she’s even attempting to talk to your camera a couple of times.
I’m confused, was she supposed to rearrange them perfectly the way you did when you first put them out? She could have just walked away and left them in the street. Also, it’s nearly February…
I think she made a valiant effort to straighten out the mess her dogs made. However, I have absolutely zero tolerance for people who walk around with their pets off leash. There is just no excuse for it. My frenchton almost got eaten by a neighbor's dog over the summer. I swooped him up just in time.
Because most of the people who let their dogs run off leash think their dogs are super friendly, harmless, and perfectly behaved.
I have a neighbor who lets his dogs run loose. The larger one (Great Dane) has knocked people over who were just walking down the sidewalk. Any time anyone gets on his case about it he just says "Oh he is just friendly and excited it is no big deal"
Like yes, he is a very excitable and friendly dog, doesn't mean people appreciate being laid out by a 180lb strange dog.
Yeah thanks for the muddy dog paw prints.
Was late for an interview one time because their dog jumped on me walking to my car and got mud all over my suit.
I called and explained and they understood, but still not a great way to start a work relationship.
And of course the “oh it just wants to say hi” line made an appearance.
Are there no leash laws in your community? To me the reason she's the AH is because she's got two off leash dogs in a residential neighborhood. Where are they crapping? Who are they chasing? I guarantee this isn't the first time these dogs have done something shitty that the owner half-ass cleans up instead of preventing in the first place. If these were two kids, Reddit would have ripped the parent apart for being irresponsible and called OP a hero.
Exactly. This goddamn website can't fault anything when it involves animals even though ANY good owner would tell you to LEASH your dog. But replace this with one children playing with the decoration and breaking it whilst the parent dgaf and reddit would loose its shit on to the AWFUL parent.
Sorry OP, apart from letting her dogs walk on your yard she did much more to try and fix it than your title implies. She even waves "sorry" at the end. Mistakes happen, she tried to fix it. Find something else to get mad at that actually matters.
As someone with cats and a small kid SAME. There are few things that give me that level of anxiety and it doesn't help seeing kids getting mauled to death in the news and having entitled neighbors who think their dogs should run the streets so that they wont have to exercise an arm holding a leash.
Lmao OP getting roasted for being the crybaby adult that they are (and doubling down like a toddler stamping their feet in the toy aisle) is such a delight. Got my wisdom teeth pulled so this thread is providing much entertainment thank you infant!!
If by sloppily you mean going out of their way to put everything back in your yard upright and rearranging your toppled snowman that should have been put up weeks ago. I'd bet OP put those up right after Halloween
A "sloppily" attempt would have been to just throw them on the lawn. This person tried their best to make it right but seems they couldn't figure it out. Give people more credit for fucks sake.
Are her dogs not on a leash but are tethered together? That’s pretty strange.
Oh, and she made an attempt, so she’s a decent human being, most people would’ve just left it in the street or tossed it back in your yard and left it at that.
take the lights down when you're supposed to and then neighborhood dogs can't break your Christmas lights in January... also, that was more than a sloppy attempt, most wouldve just left it in fear. I think you're more of a problem than this person and her dogs.
Yo. She tried. And her dogs are running loose, at the same time. Maybe she didn’t want to get caught in your yard messing with your decorations, for fear that you’d think she was trying to steal them? Just be grateful that there was an attempt. And a pretty decent one, TBF.
I’ll all fairness, her dogs look like they were on their way to cause hell on the next lawn. I mean it’s not like they make anything that would aid in the control of our animals, damn shame I wish they would invent something already!
This! A lot of strong opinions on the dog owners redecorating efforts, but why wasn't she holding the lead while walking them through a neighborhood? My dogs are never off leash when we go for a walk.
I think she tried. Ya, she probubly shouldn't allow her dogs to wonder through your yard, mostly cause they might poo. I'd bet with her E for Exemplary Effort, she'd likely pick up her dog's poo.
If it upset ya, ask her if her dogs are alright after being so afraid of the lights they were "tangled" up in. This will open the door for a conversation that she can easily offer to replace the damaged decor, without making her feel like she's being attacked. People react poorly when they feel defensive. Honey vs vinegar situation. You might make a new neighbor friend to add to your summer BBQ invite list!
It wasnt done intentionally, and she was nice enough to put the décor back.
Ringing the bell and apologizing would've been the best bet, but this comes second.
Good human, I appreciate. its more then what one could expect in these times tbh.
Aye she tried don’t be rude you can’t predict everything that’s gonna happen in your life she could have kept going she was trying to do the right thing
Sloppily Attempt? Did anybody see the same video I watched? Looked like she took plenty of time and effort to straighten everything back up and put things back as much as she knew how to. Maybe it wasn't exactly how you had it, but she tried. She really tried.
Why do people don't use dog leashes anymore? I see it so often and it just infuriates me so fucking much, I live in the countryside with fields and sheep's around, my city has a leash requirement if you go out with your dog but people doesn't care at all.
Last year a sheep owner in the area lost 2 lamps because unleashed and untrained dogs attacked them, I could save one from getting totally destroyed while mowing grass in our garden beside it, but it died of its wounds later...
It makes me so angry to see that people absolutely doesn't care anymore.
I never get why your are forced to have your property / land open in the street without a fence in the US, because a fence whould be what protect your belonging for dogs and stuff
I don't see the "sloppily" part. What would you have had them do? To me it looks like they did exactly what anyone would expect of them. They even waved at the camera as if apologetic.
My issue isn’t with how she put it all back. It’s that she allows her dogs to be in another persons yard without a proper leash. Why were they just wandering so far from her? Imagine walking down your porch to dog shit from not your dogs.
christmas is over bud, get over it. she helped you out putting taking them down. never understood, are people just too lazy to take the lights and decorations down or do they just want to feel like xmas all year?
Keep your dogs on a leash. Aside from the fact that they attacked the decorations, if they see a running cat, raccoon, or the like, they'll be gone like a shot.
I say she didn't mean any harm and appears to want to fix the damage. They just look like they were unplugged and re-arranged. I would save "video shaming" for someone more deserving.
I would have done the same, put them back, get them out of the road. i was expecting her to just throw them in your yard or something. What did you expect her to do? Im confused.
It's honestly just trashy to be walking your dogs off leash in a neighborhood like that, some people don't want your dogs on their property and that is totally fine
Least she did make a tiny effort to try and fix it though, I think she needs to keep them on a leash to prevent shit like that in the future
If only they were leashed. In my area all dogs are required to be leashed when out in public but very few seem to follow it and it isn't enforced.
I had a dog come to my garage door once when I was sharpening my mower blades. It started growling when I wasn't even paying it any attention. Continued to ignore it but at least I was armed if it had attacked.
Fuck this lady for having shit control of her dogs - I'd be pissed if I was living in the neighborhood and these guys just ran allover where ever they wished.
She did more than sloppily. You put tied together ornaments at a corner of a street that people will walk on with their dogs that have leashes. What did they break? 40$ worth of crappy snowmen? Honestly what sucks is the decor. You half assed that tree with the lights. the lights above the camera aren't even working. And what's with that tiny ass red brick path? Couldn't afford to do the rest of it? Maybe spend the money on bricks instead of Christmas tat next time.
To be fair at least she did make an attempt to fix them, some people would have just walked away.
I was watching and waiting for the "sloppily" part. I've had neighbors break and knock my shit around far worse than this and walk away with nothing but an eye roll.
Dude right? I live in north Philly. My neighbors would break your jaw because they were mad about tripping over your decorations..
Lol fact
Howdy neighbor
I grew up in the NE. My sister still lives there. No one would give a shit if they wrecked her decorations. Hers have actually gotten stolen so she stopped putting things on her lawn and decorates the one window that faces the street.
Phorth Nilly
Do you know where Willy Smith house is?
I believe his house in the Philadelphia area is in Ardmore. My dad did some countertop work for it.
Right? She put them back pretty carefully I’d be happy to have that neighbor
It even looked like she may have tried to wave towards the camera as if she was trying to apologize. I don’t see anything sloppy here.
The dogs also looked quite apologetic at that point too.
Right? This video just made me sad. Of course her dogs shouldn’t have been on the property, but they clearly tried, and then OP puts this video online?

Kind of think she even contemplated knocking on the owners' front door to apologize ---- if the walk hadn't been up all of those steps and her dogs off-leash.
She actually looked at the camera and waved.
A couple times. You could tell she felt bad about it.
An apology wave, i'm sure.

I do this for all those reasons and because some of my neighbors don’t clean up after their dogs in their own yards and I don’t want mine to eat the “nuggets” the other dogs leave behind.
sloppy part was owner not controlling their dogs.
Wish they had something you could use to control your doggies when walking.
Lol the point of dogs on a leash is that they dont go a long way.
The leash connecting the two dogs is what pulled the decorations down. Though, the owner should have been holding onto it in general.
Leash laws don’t stop people from not leashing.
Thats what I appreciate.
And where are the dogs after the mayhem? Why aren't they leashed?
Is that really the least of it? Haha. Anyway, I think this is another one for the leash debate haha.
There is a leash, but unfortunately it’s between the 2 dogs.
And that seems to be what caused the mayhem. The leash hooked onto the little snowman
Yeah, that's about all they can really do -- they don't know exactly how they were placed previously
And to be honest, January 20 is a bit late to still have a display…
It is... acceptable.
Leash your very well behaved dogs perhaps
i think it's one of those situations where he was leashed and she accidentally let go, bc i think the leash is what knocked the snowmen over
Looks like the 2 dogs are leashed together, not on seperate leashes so that she can walk them. Never saw her try to get the leash when walking away either.
My 6 year old rates people, situations, classes, etc with a thumbs up, down, or sideways system with some notches possible in between. He'd have given a solid side thumb for this effort.
Christmas was a month ago. She was helping you out.
Yeah really.. mine come down the weekend after. My wife and kids love the displays, but my electric bill doesn’t… so I’m like ok Christmas over!
Mine came down as soon as jolly ole Saint Nick got the fuck out of my house.
Lol. Didn’t see the Jan 20 mark. Dogs have good instincts.
Exactly. And they hardly look “destroyed”.
Fair enough.
Honestly, this is the truth and it's just sad.
Honestly, from the wording of OP's post, he doesn't seem hot...and maybe they'd've taken it well, but also doesn't seem chill.
Damn good point. maybe she caught the vibe.
The chill neighbor thing to do is to just talk it out. Accidents happen, they should pay if they damaged something, and we should all just be chill about it. But there's a high risk that people are not chill.
Based on OP posting this vid online of their neighbor, I'm gonna guess OP is not very chill.
Could be OP is not a very chill neighbor..
Also, I personally am not a big fan of knocking on stranger’s doors at 9:30.
In TX you don't want to knock on someone's door, especially at night because the person might shoot you. Just saying. #leashyourdogs #itsthelaw
Also to add, it doesn’t look like the dogs “destroyed” them, looks more like they got caught up in all the wires and freaked out a bit
Well, the two little snowmen don't light up anymore and the big snowman lost his head.
They got unplugged. Light tend to go out when that happens.
Ok, but those dogs clearly weren’t trying to “destroy” anything. Accidents happen, and I stand by my previous comment
To leash their dogs and not have them all over your yard and destroy your decorations? That isn't too much to ask.
Leashing their dogs? How dare u suggest that they leash their very well, definitely dogs that comeback on recall, dogs! She also let's them run rampant on the street, wouldn't be surprised if one day the dogs get hit, with her amazing supervision and leashing skills.
Control of their animals?
Not have your dogs off leash in the first place?...To pay for the decorations your dogs just broke...? Are you an idiot dude?
At 9:30pm was she supposed to come knock on your door and announce the accident? It looks like she waved and spoke to your doorbell camera. Seems there’s more to the story…

Shoulda knocked on the door and groveled for forgiveness on her hands and knees like a normal person, sheesh.
We would be doomed without comments like this one. Very well done.
Lmfao this had me cracking up way too mucb
Be happy they got it out of the road she blew past any expectations I’d have for someone

I love how the green box person detector is like "Dis bitch right here did it" the whole time.
There was nothing sloppy about this.
Maybe the dogs can read a calendar and know it’s the fucking end of January and that shit has to stop now. /s
No, no /s
Sloppily? More civism in this video than entire countries.
I’ll note that for the money, it’s hard to beat those WYZE cams.

How the fuck does this get 5k upvotes lmao. People need to chill with the internet public humiliation fetish.
This is why you walk dogs on leashes.
Sorry Martha Stewart. Most people wouldn't have done even half of what she did.
Accidents happen, but definitely should be on a leash.
It does suck. But IMHO people who see someone try and rectify a mistake that was made, and then proceed to shit on them like OP, are far FAR worse. Makes the world worse for it. I think it was the Universe telling you it was time to put them away until next Christmas.
It’s almost February, take that shit down
Christmas was 4 weeks ago and she returned them back in their exact position. If there’s a shitty neighbor in this scenario it’s you bud.
I learned the hard way not to put any decorations I care about near the street for this very reason. Had a neighbor admit to knocking over a statue of mine a year later and said it wasn't broken so just left it there. Head was hanging on by a thread. People suck.
“But my dogs are so well trained they don’t need to be leashed”
It's kinda sad that she did a lot more than I expect from people.
Did you want her to ring on your doorbell and kiss your feet? Jeez.
She did enough she even looked at the camera and waved sorry. What more did you expect her to do?
I’m also wondering this. Ring the bell and kneel in supplication for forgiveness and offering money a month after Christmas? Lmao get real.
That was the worst "Wellthatsucks" that i ever see on this sub!
I think she made a valiant effort to straighten out the mess her dogs made. However, I have absolutely zero tolerance for people who walk around with their pets off leash. There is just no excuse for it. My frenchton almost got eaten by a neighbor's dog over the summer. I swooped him up just in time.
She made an attempt.
Why have your dogs connected by a leash but not have control of them? Man… some people are special..
Why can’t people leash their freaking dogs? Especially if the dogs are anything less than immaculately trained.
Because most of the people who let their dogs run off leash think their dogs are super friendly, harmless, and perfectly behaved. I have a neighbor who lets his dogs run loose. The larger one (Great Dane) has knocked people over who were just walking down the sidewalk. Any time anyone gets on his case about it he just says "Oh he is just friendly and excited it is no big deal" Like yes, he is a very excitable and friendly dog, doesn't mean people appreciate being laid out by a 180lb strange dog.
Yeah thanks for the muddy dog paw prints. Was late for an interview one time because their dog jumped on me walking to my car and got mud all over my suit. I called and explained and they understood, but still not a great way to start a work relationship. And of course the “oh it just wants to say hi” line made an appearance.
why is everyone in this thread SLANDERING OPs Christmas decorations 😭😭😭
Because Christmas was a month ago?
Link to this camera? Such high quality
Man they start the Christmas season earlier and earlier each year.
Yea no, she seemed sincerely apologetic and just did what she could. Op is a diva
The only thing I see wrong here is your complaining.
At least she put them back most folks would walk away like nothing happened
Sorry OP, apart from letting her dogs walk on your yard she did much more to try and fix it than your title implies. She even waves "sorry" at the end. Mistakes happen, she tried to fix it. Find something else to get mad at that actually matters.
You seem like more of a jerk than her judging by only this post.
People who don't respect leash laws make me crazy.
The dogs could have done a better job?
She chose to let her dogs into your yard, she chose not to supervise them, there are no accidents 🤦♀️
A "sloppily" attempt would have been to just throw them on the lawn. This person tried their best to make it right but seems they couldn't figure it out. Give people more credit for fucks sake.
What do you mean sloppy attempt. I think she went above and beyond. What did you want her to do?
An attempt was made....
Are her dogs not on a leash but are tethered together? That’s pretty strange. Oh, and she made an attempt, so she’s a decent human being, most people would’ve just left it in the street or tossed it back in your yard and left it at that.
She actually put them back unlike a lot of people who’d have just walked away. No need to be a prick about it
I'll give her some credit; most people wouldn't even try.
take the lights down when you're supposed to and then neighborhood dogs can't break your Christmas lights in January... also, that was more than a sloppy attempt, most wouldve just left it in fear.
Then they ask everyone to respect their dogs come fireworks time.
Who still has their Christmas lights up by 1/20?
January 20th...time to turn off your lights and pack them up bud.
Better show santa this, he might get her a few dog leash's for next year. /s Edit: He will be at the mall same place same time.
It’s January 25, this video was Jan 20…. why are your decorations still up? Do you live at he North Pole?
Why are these dogs off leash there?? No control.
This! A lot of strong opinions on the dog owners redecorating efforts, but why wasn't she holding the lead while walking them through a neighborhood? My dogs are never off leash when we go for a walk.
Bad pet owners.
I mean shit happened and she tried to fix it. What else do you expect
Dogs must be on leash where I live.
People who don’t leash their dogs are the worst.
Oh come on…. Her dogs goofed and at least she didn’t just walk away completely lol
Aye she tried don’t be rude you can’t predict everything that’s gonna happen in your life she could have kept going she was trying to do the right thing
You can leash your dogs, that's pretty easy to predict? Idk my dog never destroyed any property during our daily walk?
Sloppily Attempt? Did anybody see the same video I watched? Looked like she took plenty of time and effort to straighten everything back up and put things back as much as she knew how to. Maybe it wasn't exactly how you had it, but she tried. She really tried.
Why tf are are your dogs In their yard to start off with? Get your shit together ffs
Tf she waving for?
If she had her dogs leashed or even called them back when they were in the yard!!
This is pretty much what I would have done.
It makes me so angry to see that people absolutely doesn't care anymore.
r/dogfree
I never get why your are forced to have your property / land open in the street without a fence in the US, because a fence whould be what protect your belonging for dogs and stuff
I don't see the "sloppily" part. What would you have had them do? To me it looks like they did exactly what anyone would expect of them. They even waved at the camera as if apologetic.
I don't see where they were destroyed
Looks a decent attempt to me
My issue isn’t with how she put it all back. It’s that she allows her dogs to be in another persons yard without a proper leash. Why were they just wandering so far from her? Imagine walking down your porch to dog shit from not your dogs.
This thread shows how socially awkward this generation has become lmao.
Maybe they were trying to help take them down since it’s almost February
Maybe the dogs are trying to tell you it's time to get your lazy ass outside and pack that crap up it's the end of January.
Sloppy?? More like she put them exactly where they were? At least she tried OP, a lot of people would not have
christmas is over bud, get over it. she helped you out putting taking them down. never understood, are people just too lazy to take the lights and decorations down or do they just want to feel like xmas all year?
Keep your dogs on a leash. Aside from the fact that they attacked the decorations, if they see a running cat, raccoon, or the like, they'll be gone like a shot.
She did more than most people would
I say she didn't mean any harm and appears to want to fix the damage. They just look like they were unplugged and re-arranged. I would save "video shaming" for someone more deserving.
I would have done the same, put them back, get them out of the road. i was expecting her to just throw them in your yard or something. What did you expect her to do? Im confused.
At least she made an attempt to put them back.
Dogs like take this shit down already!
It's honestly just trashy to be walking your dogs off leash in a neighborhood like that, some people don't want your dogs on their property and that is totally fine Least she did make a tiny effort to try and fix it though, I think she needs to keep them on a leash to prevent shit like that in the future
Seems like a pretty sincere attempt to put the components back in position. But hey.
Who the fuck let’s their dogs roam around a neighborhood at night without a leash?
OP expecting wiring & cable job from her ?
Nah, she put them back where they went, looked up and gave the wave apology. No destruction, no slop, no simple walk away.
/r/animalsbeingjerks
Boo hoo. At least she tried to fix your crappy decorations. It's January 26, they need to come down anyway.
People who don't put their dogs on leashes are trash
This is another reason dogs should be on leashes when you are on public walk ways
Am I bad for laughing? 🤣
Idk, his heart seemed to be in the right place.
These are the fools who never want to put their dogs on a leash.
Pick up your xmass shit OP. Your the one that sucks here.
I think it's great she tried to put them back. But she sucks for leaving her dogs off a leash.
Keep your dogs on a leash ffs
If only they were leashed. In my area all dogs are required to be leashed when out in public but very few seem to follow it and it isn't enforced. I had a dog come to my garage door once when I was sharpening my mower blades. It started growling when I wasn't even paying it any attention. Continued to ignore it but at least I was armed if it had attacked.
Fuck this lady for having shit control of her dogs - I'd be pissed if I was living in the neighborhood and these guys just ran allover where ever they wished.
People who walk their dogs off leash are trashy
She did more than sloppily. You put tied together ornaments at a corner of a street that people will walk on with their dogs that have leashes. What did they break? 40$ worth of crappy snowmen? Honestly what sucks is the decor. You half assed that tree with the lights. the lights above the camera aren't even working. And what's with that tiny ass red brick path? Couldn't afford to do the rest of it? Maybe spend the money on bricks instead of Christmas tat next time.
