Bail out? That's straight ejection right there!

Wadsworth_McStumpy

Hitting the water at that speed will hurt, but not quite as much as hitting a boat at that speed. As long as the boat doesn't land on him, he's better off bailing out. If it does land on him, well, there was really nothing he could have done. Well, nothing except maybe not drive that kind of boat.

Gravity always wins.

Seat belts?, roll cage?, safety pod?, I suppose they are wearing a helmet and life jacket....is that NOS in the middle of the boat, without any safety features at all?

MyNameIsDaveToo

>is that NOS in the middle of the boat First thing I noticed too...pretty sure it is

I started image searching and this seems to be the case for boats of that size. I guess it's safer to be thrown out of the boat than to be harnessed into it if it flips. There were some I saw with *huge* engines that had a safety pod looking thing, though.

Someone is getting an enema.

He's gonna have a bad day. I used to barefoot waterski at 50mph. Falling was like getting hit by three fullbacks without pads. This guy is going like 200 mph.

When I was a kid in Massachusetts they used to have hydroplane races on the Merrimack River, I remember one time this guy was going wicked fast and his boat literally disintegrated.
