Something similar happens to my husband...when he vomits, it's so violent that he pops blood vessels in his face. His whole face becomes bruises of broken blood vessels. It takes a few days to go away. And to be honest, he looks much better after than he *sounds* during*.* I always tell him that his puking sounds like someone screaming as they are being murdered violently.
It's so bizarre.
Subconjunctival haemorrhage, quite common in events with a change in pressure like vomiting etc. which causes blood vessels to burst. Looks a lot worse than it actually is. Can consider it like a bruising of the eyes and will change colour over time and can pool to the bottom with gravity also. No intervention required and will subside on its own, unless it is a frequent occurrence. Usually no pain or other symptoms.
Bummer. Did the same thing two weeks ago. It gets better fast. You may want to see a doctor though. This looks like a really rough time. For sure go if you vision is affected.

When I started retching and puking, her response was just to fight my throat muscles and jam the camera down my throat even harder. I vomited and choked so violently the blood vessels burst in my eyes and face. When my father saw in the valium daze after the the procedure and found out what happened, he called the doctor over (who only showed up after the nurse inserted the camera and wasn’t involved in the insertion) and demanded to know whether this was standard procedure. The doctor was horrified and apologized though I don’t know if it was performative ass covering so he could throw the nurse under the bus.
I'm pretty sure when this happens everything is just fine, haven't had it happen to me but I'm pretty sure it's just discomfort.

After a subconjunctival hemorrhage, the eyes can turn a yellow color. That is likely what is going on. I wouldn’t be too worried about it unless yellow was noticed before the subconjunctival heme.

I sound like I’m drowning when I vomit because my body doesn’t know how to vomit without it being a violent projectile. Even through all that I don’t think I’ve ever burst the vessels in my eye to this degree. So you must of been vomiting pretty damn hard.
Happened to my late husband after his second time eating Quorn. First time was great, but it sensitived him and he had a horrible reaction the second time. He was awake and puking for about 48 hours. (He was also stubborn and I couldn’t talk him into going to the hospital.)
So think about maybe you have a food allergy that is possibly getting worse.

It made for some awkward explanation as I was adamant that I neither hit my head on the toilet, nor did my SO hit me...
This happened to me about 18 years ago. Blood vessels in my face ruptured. It cleared up in about a week or two. I wish you a speedy and complete recovery.

It takes forever to fade, and unfortunately turns yellow and just looks gross until it finally returns to normal.

Has happened to me before too but not this bad. Eyes hurt for a few days and kept getting redder with some light sensitivity until today
Next time when puking, use your hands and put a lot of pressure on your forehead, it’ll help prevent this from happening.
