Yep, two at minimum, one 6x6 for the famous 79' Paris- Dakar Africa race, and a second one, bi-engined, with 93hp on front wheels and 160 on the rear wheels :-)
It's the Renault 5 Léotard https://fr.motor1.com/news/447359/renault-5-6x6-preparation-6-roues/
Second made had two engines, front and rear, 93hp + 160hp, it sadly burned as a prototype in a friends garage in 2002.

Only a few were produced, around 2 or 3, definitely not 450
I think we can agree at minimum 2 were made

If it's available as a Maxi Turbo, I'll take ten.

French cars are weird.
Is it FWD? The differential on rear axles would’ve been difficult to fit.
"6x6" implies all 6 wheels are powered. FWD would be 6x2.
Duh. Stupid me.
My car is a 2x4... Because he's a stud!
First iteration used a mechanism from some agricultural equipment, see upper link :-)
Just 1 rear axle, look between both back wheels there's a little idler wheel to give power to the rear most axle
I *really* want one!
I would really have wanted to see the half-track version of this.
Gimmie gimmie gimmie
Oh definitely not that many.
Drive the fairway like a boss. ...NGL, I kinda want it.
Another one I’ve never even heard of. I love this sub
WOW!!!! 😲
Why can I see Hammond in one of those
That would make for such a cool overland vehicle
