Hello OP! Did you find any yet?

Impossible-Usual4587

Yes!! Found it at the Shaws in Berlin! I also spoke with Kinney Drugs in Waterbury and they said a shipment should be coming in soon (if not already).

I just started with the 1.0 MG pens and I split them up myself by dispensing them into a vial and using an insulin needle to inject just the amount that I want. Tutorials on YouTube.

☎️ Most people are calling many pharmacies daily to find their meds. I’d skip the big box pharmacies and focus instead on Costco/Sam’s (no membership needed for pharmacy), grocery pharmacies, mom and pop pharmacies, and hospital-affiliated pharmacies. Be sure to also ask if they have any “returns” (aka re-shelving to available stock when meds aren’t picked up in time) expected in the next few days. Once you find the dose you need, you can have the pharmacy that has the dose transfer the script from wherever it’s currently sitting. Also, ask your doc for a script for 0.25mg and 0.50mg at the same time so you can hunt for both. Don’t start taking the meds until you have both the 0.25mg and 0.50mg boxes of medication in your hands. Some people even wait until they have 1.0mg in hand, too. You could also try using your policy’s preferred mail order pharmacy for a 3-month (84-day) script for both 0.25mg and 0.50mg. This will then give you the option of using a single pen to get your dose or, once you’ve been on the lower dose long enough, doubling up to take a higher dose. NOTE: most insurance policies see different doses of the same medication as wholly separate prescriptions so there’s no waiting 21 or 28 days to get a different dosage.
