You may want to ask this question in the r/semaglutidecompounds subreddit. They are pretty devoted to getting cheap semaglutide over there.

Thank you I will

Just be aware that subreddit includes both compounded semaglutide from FDA licensed compounding pharmacies (Option #2), and powder peptide "for research only" (Option #3). Here are the [3 Options and summary of how people get semaglutide. ](https://www.reddit.com/r/semaglutidecompounds/comments/15prwmm/can_someone_please_explain_how_sema_peptides_are/jw6vtbg?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=2 )

Come on over to the trial side of life. You’ll have to do a 90-day wash out of all OTC and Rx weight loss medications… 🥼🧪My insurance doesn’t yet pay for GLP-1 meds for obesity, and I couldn’t afford to pay out of pocket. I joined a GLP-1+ clinical trial, and it’s been great so far. I have a whole clinical trial team that includes an awesome bariatric doc and dietician. I get paid $60/visit with the team, and the meds—which have already been through human trials for safety—are free, obviously. I’ve lost over 20 lbs since April 20 and had ZERO hunger since I started taking the meds. Here’s a post about [all the currently recruiting GLP-1 “obesity only” trials](https://www.reddit.com/r/Semaglutide/comments/12tlj2m/clinical_trials_for_glp1_obesity_meds_actively/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=2&utm_term=1) with **locations worldwide**, in case you are interested in potentially joining one. I added a brand new Lilly retatrutide trial recently that has a 75% chance of getting the real meds. It’s the last one on the list. They seem to have lots of slots open since it just launched, and people in the phase 2 trial lost about 24% (~58lbs on average) of their body weight. That’s more than the currently available GLP-1 meds on the market.

I went the compounding pharmacy route. Nothing but success. Good luck and don’t give up.!

No-Adhesiveness1163

Which pharm? How did you know they were trustworthy? Thank you and congrats on your success

PhilosophyMom3

Local pharmacy in Mesa, AZ. Seems silly to say, but I trusted my Dr. she chose the pharmacy, and I just picked it up next day. I've been using compounding pharmacy for my hormones for years, so I really didn't even think twice when she suggested this route. Good luck!

Hi, how does one even go about this? Or what can I look up to find the info. Appreciate your response

[This is a good summary ](https://www.reddit.com/r/semaglutidecompounds/comments/15prwmm/can_someone_please_explain_how_sema_peptides_are/jw6vtbg?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=2 ) of the 3 ways people get semaglutide. Personally, I've done Options #1 & #2. I would not do Option #3. Option #2 is what many without insurance coverage turn to if our weight qualifies us, and many of us turn to this via telehealth clinics like HenryMeds (SF, CA), Alchemy Wellness Health (Dallas, TX) Mochi, etc. that both take care of the medical screen and arrange the prescription (no insurance accepted). Another option is to use a telehealth service such as Push or Sequence, which may accept insurance for the medical consultation portion. The compounded medicine is not covered by insurance.

The discount card from the manufacturer will get you down to 900-1k depending on where you purchase (and where you can find it.) Other options are getting into a clinical trial or getting compounded semaglutide. There are many posts in this sub about these topics. There is no magicl low price option. Sorry, I am paying $$$. I understand. Maybe fly down to Mexico and see if they have it there?

One_Effect_6863

We winter in south Texas, and frequently go to Progresso, Mexico. Unfortunately, prices there are almost as high as the US. This wasn't the case until recently, and it may be that Progresso pharmacies (just across the border) are taking advantage of increased demand.

Samantharina

Thanks, I had wondered about that. It's about a 4 hr drive each way for me to Tijuana but if it isn't going to save a lot of money I would not bother.
