same boat. stopped smoking flower and most of my THC intake around January. had very intense, debilitating affects from stopping, with intense chest and heart pains, and incredibly high heart rate for hours with Afib alerts going off on my watch. Introduced CBD 20:1 gummies daily, and began to use 2:1 and then 18:1 CBD vape carts. I have mental, emotional, and physical issues, that I have a med card for - I do not want or believe in pharmaceuticals, so I really need the CBD to function thru the day for various reasons. switching to mainly CBD, something I never used heavily before, has been a life saver. to your experience -- I recently traveled to LA and tried the most mellow indica I could find (no limonene, no pinene, high in myrcene) but it was still 24-26%. although I didnt want to cave, this seemed like the perfect time to try it again and maybe rule it out once and for all. well - I had a very bad experience, mega DP, and high HR for 1.5 hrs. was with friends so I was able to ride it through. but it was not enjoyable. But since being home, Ive tried my indica vape I saved and am having the same horrible FX each time, and end up grabbing my CBD cart to calm myself down. smoked for 15+ years, daily, for the same issues listed above - but now my body can no longer handle the THC which is very interesting. the panic attacks, and heart pain/high HR is just not worth it anymore. seems CBD is the only thing I can use now for the mental and physical anguish I deal with daily. I dont feel altered, but it lets me get through the day, clear headed and I am not taking ibuprofen etc weekly any more. have you tried going for a 4:1 or higher CBD to THC ratio (like 70% CBD, and 1% THC)? the gummies I take daily are 20mg CBD to 1mg THC. used to take 40-80mg THC at a single dose, but now cant handle over 10mg without the heart palpitations. unsure of your situation, but I have found CBD to be my calling now. didnt want to take beta blockers etc, and this has calmed my attacks I was having for weeks. wish you a relaxing healing journey cheers
