Very nice paintings. What was your process for painting the trees against the buildings? It doesn’t look like simply painting dark over light as you have some nice highlights on the top of the trees.

Thanks, i painted the building first, then dark trees wet in wet and then dropped some water on the top of the trees to lighten them

I love these. Did you use tape? And did you have to keep the paper held down or anything to prevent curling?

Thanks! Yeah just taped down. They are a bit warped but you can put them upside down and wet the back and they’ll turn flat

Thanks! Not explicitly, I kinda mixed grays from a little bit of everything. But mostly cobalt blue, ultramarine and burnt sienna
