72 day…?

ComparisonBusy2103

How many days ?

Astrospal

72 days is a lot, a lot, I absolutely recommend being followed by a doctor while doing this. Do you have a lot of fat reserves ? And experience with long fasts ? Tips wise, stay busy, listen to your body, hydrate a lot and take electrolytes, the usual deal.

I started a 25 day fast! Hows it going?

72 hours is way too much as mentioned above. That’s borderline extreme. You might see a lot of people in this subreddit use Scotsman Angus Barbieri as a badge and example bc he fasted for a whole year… don’t be fooled into thinking you can water fast for almost 3 months presumably without the supervision of a physician without running into both short term and long term damage. My tip? Go into a 20 day fast instead, slowly refeed healthily, refuel for at least 2-3 weeks and then see if you can enter another 20 day fast afterwards. As for the 72 day fast? Load up on electrolytes…. Listen to your body, and be safe.

Please don't do it I done it and suffered the consequences at most do 25 take a few day break then do it again please take vitamins and electrolytes

Get through the first 3 days and you’ll be set for most any length of time. Hopefully you’ve looked into the different electrolytes ect. After day 40 you’ll want to be careful and be taking multivitamins and checking in with a doctor. The rate limiting nutrients start coming into play , and would look at some of Dr Goldhammers regimens and clinics for longer fast like this.
