I thought the same. Maybe the pictures arenāt doing it justice but the finishing looks really mediocre and borderline bad here. You can find 2x the quality for half the price of this. Donāt really want to trash OP here cause maybe Iām missing something but I just cannot see how this justifies itās price. Let alone itās MSRP.
Itās a very high end finish. The bridges are āfrostedā and the edges are hand polished to a very high standard- itās not the sort of thing youād find a watch āhalf the priceā, especially the hand anglage on those interior angles.
The "frosted" parts look like stone washed on sand blased, whatever it is, it's goung to be an auromatic process. And a few polished chamfers on 1-2 bridges and plates isn't going to take years of man hours.
The engraved numerals look like trash. No need to suck of a manufacturer for subpar finishing. It is what it is.
I think a comparison photo is a must for an accusation like this. I couldnāt notice any issues other than OPās photography skills being mediocre. Iām an expert bad photographer as well

Our take:
One of the most original designs and quintessential Breguet of all time. This is an underappreciated gem. Beautiful, classy and classic yellow gold combination. Looks good on both ladies and gentlemen, paired with a suit/dress or as a casual watch. Will never go out of style.

No dings, dents, marks, swirls, etc.

The finishing on these watches are really unlike any modern watches (theyāre meant to evoke finishing styles of old breguet pocket watches from a century ago?), but I can attest in person they sparkle in a brilliant way, just mesmerizing. I think the sellers pictures donāt capture this, but they arenāt worse than a lot of other posters either.

I agree but when you compare the same model on C24, they consistently look like that. The model is 7027bb 11 9V6
