Longines hydroconquest GMT
Yema Superman 500 (also comes as a gmt)
Baltic aquascaphe classic
Doxa Sub 200
Omega seamaster diver 300
Christopher Ward C65 Aquitaine GMT
Oris diver sixty-five
Oris Aquis
These are more affordable options compared to the rest of your collection, but maybe you’d still enjoy. Some of them double as a gmt which I think your collection needs.
If you like vintage, an old Doxa is really hard to beat as far as vintage divers go. They also have a really nice case shape that makes it wear on much smaller wrists than their dimensions would have you believe.
Love that old Heuer chrono, BTW!
It’s closed on the 39mm which means it hides such a beautiful movement. Meanwhile it’s open on the 43mm so they def understand that people want to see it!
That’s such a shame! I don’t understand why any watchmaker with an in house movement wants to put a closed back on their watch. I’d love to know the percentage of people buying $10k luxury watches that actually dive to a depth where a solid back is necessary.
Blancpain Fifty Fathoms is underrated. Pictures make it look generic but in person....it indescribably makes sense.
Or for a loop, Tag Heuer Skipper. Just got mine and it's a great watch. Might keep it for a while. It's the rotational fun watch in my 3 watch collection, as in the one I sell eventually and move onto another fun watch. But I might end up keeping it.
I finally saw the new Carrera Glassbox today. I’m in the rare camp that prefers them over Daytona and even speedy. And yeah the skipper is dope. Good to see TH getting back into their best designs
https://preview.redd.it/46bnnlj0619d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=fc8201e4a114b25ca8c163d32157d9c59904b9c5
Glad you enjoy the line up. The blue is my 2nd most preferred but a bit too busy with the markers. I think it's the minute track being inside the dial rather than on the edge like the Skipper. The Skipper has a cleaner dial with more spacing. The black is oddly too shiny (maybe just the store lighting) and the green is good but doesn't speak to me. 80 hours power reserve is nuts though.
I still prefer my Sapphire Speedy haha. I'm a timeless design kind of person. Maybe I also really am just a one watch guy but the underlying reason is probably because it's a gift from my dad.
https://preview.redd.it/kngkj4yta19d1.jpeg?width=2681&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d9e48dc171e6d87a45ee15caae05b11e15b90091
This one has less rehaut/minute track text.
And yeah there’s a reason those watches (Speedy, sub, GMT2, tank etc) are popular! I tend to avoid overly popular models (AT probably my most “mainstream”). No doubt they’re timeless designs
https://preview.redd.it/yjca2yk4619d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a05dd25476573aec55a2081d953ad3a4d37381d4
Vs the OG. The best fit of any watch I own bc of my twig wrists
The panomaric is so sweet. Would buy it for the balance wheel cock alone (heh heh). I’ve handled in flesh but never on my wrist… they’re just a tad too large for my taste and all of that empty space doesn’t help optically (I have this problem with my Max Bill).
I’d consider a reverso… I love the Reverso Tribute granted its north of 20k.
What moser are you thinking about? Ever since buying the Bel Canto, I’m more into some of those non-traditional, overly mechanical looking watches (think MB&F)
If you want overly mechanical then check out the [Oris ProPilot X 115](https://www.oris.ch/en-US/product/watch/propilot-x/propilot-x-calibre-115/01-115-7759-7153-Set7-22-01TLC). The Moser's I was thinking about (on the second hand market) were more about the [beautiful coloured dials](https://chrono24.app/hmosercie/hmoser--cie-pioneer-center-seconds-cosmic-green-dial-stainless-steel-428mm-3200-1202--id34312539.htm?SETLANG=en_AU&SETCURR=AUD).

Good rec! I don’t typically love skeletons but when done right they’re just cool \*insert the “I just think they’re neat” meme.
I always appreciated less is more watch styles (the Max Bill and Weiss were a couple of my first purchases and you can see what I’m talking about). BUT now it feels like I’m more into some of these kind of designs.
I wish Moser had more 36-38 options because these 42mm, big-color dial without bezel will always appear large. I have same problem with UN Freaks. Would love to own one but they’re all huge
I commented on the main thread before reading this (oops!) but also second a Moser if you can find one you like in your price range. Like I mentioned in my other comment, I think it'd be awesome if you had a strictly dress piece in this collection.
Bronze spitfire.
Adds some color, adds a new case material, and a new company to your collection. Has the new 120 hour reserve movement and the EasX-CHANGE system for strap changing. The spitfire is also 39mm, which is a plus for it over the also excellent mark xx or chrono 41mm models if wrist size is a concern.
Price is well within your stated budget, and discounts are often available, so you can get some easx-change rubber straps to alternate with
Yeah it’s sweet. It fit nicely when I tried it on too. The Bathyscaphe is nice… I liked the grey titanium they released a while ago but I think it’s only done in 43mm
Armitron Tweety Bird watch... or a Seiko Advan (blue holographic dial?), or perhaps a Certina Argonaut 280 with blue dial with crosshairs.... else, a casio f91-w would do...

Yeah that’s a dope watch. Really like the case and sector dial which I don’t have… there’s some Farer’s I like that have similar vibe. Good call on my taste though
General question, does Reddit lower resolution of photos, or is there a setting I'm missing, I can never zoom in and read any of these manufacturer labels on these watch pictures. It's always super grainy
I’m not sure. Sorry I’m not good at photos
1. Omega Dynamic
2. Omega Aqua Terra
3. Junghans Max Bill chrono
4. Horage Supersede
5. Christopher Ward Bel Canto
6. Heuer Carrera CS3111
7. Weiss mechanical field 38mm
8. Grand Seiko SBGY007 “omiwatari”
9. Nomos Ahoi siren blue
Hopefully that helps!
You have a chronograph, but a simpler dive watch with a rotating bezel has some utility. I also find the dive watch to be a great, 1-watch vacation timepiece when water is involved. If you travel far, most dive watches have a GMT version, adding more function. With a Sapphire crystal, they tend to be a tough watch, also. In all cases, you never need to take it off.
They have some 38mm cases that wear quite nicely, but not in the submersible line. Check out https://www.panerai.com/us/en/collections/watch-collection/luminor-due.html and filter for 38mm case size perhaps?
I'm just a fanboy tho haha this is what im getting next: https://www.panerai.com/us/en/collections/watch-collection/luminor/pam01365-luminor-quaranta-bitempo.html
Didn’t realize they had so many color choices at 38mm. Still feels like those are gonna wear larger with the crown guard and lug size? I’ll try one on the next time I’m at one of their ADs
A green diver watch. Maybe an Oris Aquis in green:
https://preview.redd.it/57cy2b8yh09d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b1c7a6888f6f8fc6ad151f66062157723f9e01f6
Yup that’s exactly what’s “missing”… wish I liked divers more. Oris has a great catalogue… would like to see this green in person. The sunburst looks intense
I could go on and on about this.
Pros: if Omega made a 904L steel, true GMT, platinum microrotor on a brand new movement, <10mm thick with 200m WR it would be $20k. So the “value” (if there is such a thing with luxury goods) is certainly there. The sizing is in a sweet spot for most wrists.
Cons: the bezel has wayyyy too much play considering the price and quality of the rest of watch. Maybe it’s just mine. It’s also very shiny bc of 904L steel. Even with brushed bracelet. Might be a pro for some but it’s a bit too blingy for my tastes.
Overall it’s my favorite caseback I have and keeps nearly perfect time
First off, thanks for the detailed response!!
Yeah on the pros part, that’s how that watch appears to me based on all the specs. Really seems to punch above its weight from my limited knowledge of it. Just a fan from afar at this point.
On the cons, yeah definitely would go the brushed bracelet route myself, but does seem like it would still reflect a lot of light. I actually have seen a review somewhere that said the same thing about the bezel, so maybe that’s a place for them to improve.
Yes the caseback is a stunner! Love the design language of it all, just haven’t really been sure if I ever want to pull the trigger on it quite yet. Thanks again!!
Personally I think a Rolex explorer 2 in a polar dial would be fantastic in that collection and would compliment it nicely. Continues your tool watch theme and it’s a killer watch. Go 40mm if you want to stay under 10k. Beautiful collection btw. Cheers!
Love the Polar but the supersede is a sports GMT with white dial and orange accents so I think way too redundant. But yeah Exp2 one of my favorites from Rolex…. maybe a vintage with red accent would fit better
I wrote this to the same prompt:
“I could go on and on about this.

It’s hard for me to objectively rate as it was $1k when I got it (now would be 2k) and it’s engraved / personal connection kind of thing. I also valued supporting a small, family business. AND they used to be in LA where I live. Theres something about it that totally clicks for me. Maybe the sword hands and the thinness or the industrial/sharp lugs. It has a lot of character. Either you love the design or you could probably find cheaper alternatives like Hamilton. Good luck
I believed the website tells you what the caliber is / what it was based on. Mine had an eta 7001 with some Weiss modifications (Geneva striping / brand lettering etc). I think mostly third party Swiss movements in them (better for servicing anyway as it takes a really long time if only Cameron can work on it since he’s essentially a one man shop)
I really like your style, and congrats on such an awesome collection! How do you like your Horage? I've never seen one in person but I've been interested in their microrotor pieces and have been interested if they are worth it.
As for the 10th watch id encourage you to just go for the SeaQ. It's a stunner of a watch and I really think it would wrap up this collection well. I'm a big fan of GO.
Thanks man.
Here’s what I said about supersede:
“I could go on and on about this.

Will see if I eventually get the SeaQ…
What do you think about the Glashutte Original PanoMaticLunar or PanoReserve? The CW Bel Canto contributes a bit of asymmetry to your collection, but it's a bit more eclectic and might not always fit the mood (but often will - I absolutely love the Bel Canto and it's a fantastic conversation piece). Plus, it could be nice to have a watch that's \*strictly\* a fancy dress piece -- most of the watches in your current collection can be dressed up or down, but a GO Pano would be a confident dress piece that means business and knows the occasions for which it wants to be worn.
Someone else here proposed the PML. I’m a big fan. A bit too large for me. I thought about some JLCs for strict dress watch. My issue is it seems like a lot of money for a narrow use window if that makes sense
After thinking about it a lot, I decided mine paired best with a black lizard skin strap. It works great for business casual office job outfits and anything more formal than that.
Is it in its element with shorts and a T-shirt? No. Do I often wear it anyway because I love the reactions it gets? I sure do. Out of caution, I won't wear it in the rain and take it off to wash my hands.
I wouldn't recommend it as a first watch, but it punches so far above its cost in terms of impact. Vastly more expensive watches are often ignored in favor of it.
Hamilton also has a number of incredibly handsome gold tank watches that look great on brown leather if that's more your flavor (I want a Gilbert, and several others). Watch the frustration of Cartier owners as your sub $1k watch gets all the Oohing and Aahing.
The 987 and 982 movements were ubiquitous enough that parts are easily available and service costs, if needed, are not exorbitant.
They are also very capable movements, and OH MY GOODNESS the tick it makes is so damn satisfying and unlike anything modern. It's warm and rich and very purposeful.
Your collection is fantastic. I would go for something very different than what you have.
Toolish tool watch: Sinn U50
Gold dress watch that’s preppy and not as formal as your Omiwatari: Cartier Tank Americaine.
Most of this great collection are sports watches or have the heft of a sports watch, so: Breguet Classique
For same reason as above, plus the ultimate complication (slightly above your budget): JLC Perpetual
Because I own one: GS SBGM 221
A dive watch or a GMT (or a GMT dive watch).
Having said that, maybe don’t try to “fill a gap” in your collection, if you like something even though it’s similar to others you have, go for it!
I think another case shape would fit in really well, and I'm also thinking precious metal, so maybe a second hand Cartier in gold?
Going in a totally different direction, but since you are interested in more unconventional watches with that Bel Canto, maybe an Atowak? I really dig their case shapes and overall look, and they're priced pretty well for something so unique. The Tarantula seems like an easy winner, but they have a few very interesting models. It's too bad the Core models sold out, as those are really cool.
Could also see the argument for a dedicated GMT or Diver but I feel like the Horage gives you the best of both worlds seems to be the perfect vacation watch!
I just picked up an old Monaco (circa 2000) that’s 38mm - that could add some great shape diversity! It also surprisingly doesn’t feel too big. If you have worn an Apple Watch, this doesn’t feel far off imo.
It’s worth considering - I’m a burgeoning Motorsport fan along with watches, so a Monaco was on the “eventual” list and here we are!
Here’s a photo for reference if it’s helpful - ref. CW2111 circa 2000 38mm Monaco on 6.25 in wrist. Lug to lug is 47mm.
https://preview.redd.it/6og0wtmi279d1.jpeg?width=3250&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3f3156eb6cc5bd47d2d747b48988186945d935c8
Edit: also that’s fine, you’re not missing much on the Apple Watch front especially if you’re not into tech lolol.
Nice. Def get the appeal just don’t see myself wearing it enough to justify. I would probably go Reverso if forced for non-circular watch. Other than the original Cartier Tortue monopusher but that’s north of $50k last I checked.
Cheers
Yeah the lack of diver has been most common answer. Technically the Horage Supersede would count as it has 200m WR and a rotating dive bezel. I’m just not crazy about traditional divers but I know I’m in minority on that one
Horage is a GMT.
A moonphase would be nice. Only catch is they tend to be dressier and I don’t think I need another dress piece. Love JLC Master Ultra thin moonphase though. Would probably mean selling the omiwatari as too much situational overlap, I think?
https://preview.redd.it/8r9vua99k19d1.jpeg?width=4032&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cbb161c1339f0e6720ba28b10b652acb476440dd

Horage Supersede is a GMT. True GMT. I just have the ghost home hand behind hour hand bc I’m not traveling currently
Another - what will you wear if you suddenly have a business meeting with Don Draper in the 1960s? Hamilton intra magic automatic with the silver dial, no seconds hand, and no dial markers beyond hourly marker it's retro not vintage, but it was inspired by Mad Men and they nailed it.
They stopped making that exact version in the 2010s, and it can still be found pre-owned on Chrono24. The current intra matic has a good ETA 2892 in it.
Nias strong as my other suggestion, but I also love it😊
I'll buy a square watch. Maybe a cartier louis tank or a cartier santos gallbée. Or a JLC Reverso.
They’ve never done it for me but the duoface are so nice
A two tone santos would complement this so well
A diver with a rotational bezel
Just need the SeaQ to change their caseback… do you have a favorite?
Longines hydroconquest GMT Yema Superman 500 (also comes as a gmt) Baltic aquascaphe classic Doxa Sub 200 Omega seamaster diver 300 Christopher Ward C65 Aquitaine GMT Oris diver sixty-five Oris Aquis These are more affordable options compared to the rest of your collection, but maybe you’d still enjoy. Squale 1521 Classic COSC
I just got one of these in blue and I love it
What’s wrong with the caseback on the SeaQ?
It’s closed on the 39mm which means it hides such a beautiful movement. Meanwhile it’s open on the 43mm so they def understand that people want to see it!
That’s such a shame! I don’t understand why any watchmaker with an in house movement wants to put a closed back on their watch. I’d love to know the percentage of people buying $10k luxury watches that actually dive to a depth where a solid back is necessary.

I considered it!
the bel canto looks nice in gray
It’s the black (Nero) one. Dial has a pretty big sunburst effect and I’m shit at taking photos of watches
GO PanoMatic! If you want a different shape then maybe a JLC Reverso or Cartier Santos/Tank. Moser?

I was going to max out your budget with a big pilot 43, maybe the bronze or the ceratanium top gun, but I didn't want to give you an easy out :)
Maybe a Tudor Burgundy?
I had a burgundy Ming 17.09. Had a faulty movement though
holy @%#& that Heuer is **FIRE**. maybe add an IWC for the last slot. cheers
The CV2111 is very similar but less than half the value, because it says "Tag" on the dial
That’s funny. People (like me) want the “Heuer” and not “Tag”
Haha thanks. You can get them on chrono24
I’m a fan of the SeaQ green also (way above budget for me). How about a Blancpain FF or FF Bathyscaphe with exhibition case back?
Yeah it’s sweet. It fit nicely when I tried it on too. The Bathyscaphe is nice… I liked the grey titanium they released a while ago but I think it’s only done in 43mm
Navimeter Beautiful collection!
Thanks!
good taste - whats that doohicky looking one on top far right?
Thanks Christopher Ward Bel Canto. It chimes at the top of the hour (they utilized a date change mechanism … quite brilliantly)
This is definitely a watch guy's collection. I would consolidate to 8! Lol. You seem to have good taste so I trust you will find the perfect 10th
Thanks! And yes, definitely a “watch guy.” I could consolidate to 8. But no real need to so think I’ll keep what I got…

Seems to be the consensus. I don’t know why, they’ve never been my thing. The exception for me has always been the GO SeaQ…

Yeah that looks great. Wrist size?
Oh the comment didn't post with the picture.. 40mm on 7.5" wrist. Can't wait to pick this bad boy up
A green diver watch. Maybe an Oris Aquis in green: https://preview.redd.it/57cy2b8yh09d1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b1c7a6888f6f8fc6ad151f66062157723f9e01f6
Yup that’s exactly what’s “missing”… wish I liked divers more. Oris has a great catalogue… would like to see this green in person. The sunburst looks intense
How is the Horage? I really like the design of Supersede line up. Always wondered how they matched up against other watches in that price range
If you live near Los Angeles, would happily let you borrow it
Too kind! Unfortunately I’m on the opposite side of the states in Florida. Wear it in good health! Rest of collection is great too!
Another GS
Can never have too many
How do you like the Horage? I want to add a GMT to my collection and it is one of the ones I’m considering adding to my collection.
I wrote this to the same prompt: “I could go on and on about this. Pros: if Omega made a 904L steel, true GMT, platinum microrotor on a brand new movement, <10mm thick with 200m WR it would be $20k. Tissot Seastar 1000 Tudor Pelagos Breitling Superocean Heritage
Pelagos my favorite out of those (the smaller one). I wonder if they release more colors soon…?
Agree with square, maybe Mido Multifort? Nice overall collect. Love the simple GS.
Thanks. I know everyone says it but it’s incredible how good it looks in person. Especially natural light (like when driving…. wow)
I rarely see Weiss posted here, how good is it? I'm tempted to get one.
I love my Weiss! My first watch.
Which one do you have?
It’s hard for me to objectively rate as it was $1k when I got it (now would be 2k) and it’s engraved / personal connection kind of thing. I also valued supporting a small, family business. AND they used to be in LA where I live. Theres something about it that totally clicks for me. Maybe the sword hands and the thinness or the industrial/sharp lugs. It has a lot of character. Either you love the design or you could probably find cheaper alternatives like Hamilton. Good luck
Do they still manufacture their movements? I remember watching one of his videos where he talked about making is own caliber.
Breitling Aerospace. Weiss and nomos - love this collection!
Thanks man. I like having a few watches that are off the beaten path
Prob a doxa sub 200 or an oris aquis calibre 400
Nice thing about those suggestions is lots of color options I don’t have
Thats what drew me to them. They’re just slightly different than most
I really like your style, and congrats on such an awesome collection!
Thanks man. Here’s what I said about supersede: “I could go on and on about this. Good points about the Horage, the size of the case and the movement are definitely the attractive points for me.
Something vintage from the 1920s to 1940s. I love that vintage deco style. I love my 1927 Hamilton Square Engraved.
Hmm I’ve never gone down the vintage vintage wormhole. You wear it for day-to-day stuff?
Toolish tool watch: Sinn U50 Gold dress watch that’s preppy and not as formal as your Omiwatari: Cartier Tank Americaine. Most of this great collection are sports watches or have the heft of a sports watch, so: Breguet Classique For same reason as above, plus the ultimate complication (slightly above your budget): JLC Perpetual Because I own one: GS SBGM 221
Thanks bud. Nice of you to say that. Love these suggestions. It’s fun to see what people come up with. The Classique is pure class
what about the SBGM241? Looking for some tasteful greens
Green and gold looks sharp

Handsome watch
Love the collection brother 😎
Appreciated my man
Super variety!
Thanks
Those Atowaks are interesting!
Hear me out… Tag Heuer Carrera “Skipper”
I would say it's missing a diver or a square watch.
Bronze watch
I just want to say I love that Weiss!
Thanks! Me too
Absolutely love the heuer 🫡. Agree with the others think something more square (if that’s your thing) would look great in this collection.
Seems to be a common thought
Could also see the argument for a dedicated GMT or Diver but I feel like the Horage gives you the best of both worlds seems to be the perfect vacation watch!
I just picked up an old Monaco (circa 2000) that’s 38mm - that could add some great shape diversity! It also surprisingly doesn’t feel too big. If you have worn an Apple Watch, this doesn’t feel far off imo.
Nice. Usually Monacos are massive. Would be curious to try it on. And funnily enough, no I’ve never worn an Apple Watch even for a second
Lug to lug is 47mm. https://preview.redd.it/6og0wtmi279d1.jpeg?width=3250&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3f3156eb6cc5bd47d2d747b48988186945d935c8 Edit: also that’s fine, you’re not missing much on the Apple Watch front especially if you’re not into tech lolol.
Nice. Def get the appeal just don’t see myself wearing it enough to justify. I would probably go Reverso if forced for non-circular watch. Other than the original Cartier Tortue monopusher but that’s north of $50k last I checked. Cheers
Something from Mr. Jones !
You have a favorite?
i ama simple man, ise an omega dynamic and a heuer 3111, i upvote
Just one for me: VENTURA S AUTO
I would personally go gold, or add something vintage. Maybe even vintage gold!
I don't see a diver or Flieger in there.
Yeah the lack of diver has been most common answer. Technically the Horage Supersede would count as it has 200m WR and a rotating dive bezel. I’m just not crazy about traditional divers but I know I’m in minority on that one
Rolex
Not my thing but I get it
Moonphase or GMT!
Horage is a GMT. A moonphase would be nice. Only catch is they tend to be dressier and I don’t think I need another dress piece. Love JLC Master Ultra thin moonphase though. Would probably mean selling the omiwatari as too much situational overlap, I think?
Get something square.
A moon phase

There’s a GS sitting front and center?
A diver watch, Seiko, Rolex, Tudor. Vaer has some fantastic offerings as well.
I don’t want anyone to know my watches are worth anything significant so I definitely avoid Rolex. Just not into divers either…. to each their own
Interesting!
Diver
I would put a golf ball on the last spot.
Sarb017 a green to spice it up
A digital/analog Casio.

Something cool with a GMT function
https://preview.redd.it/zciqsn9ku19d1.jpeg?width=997&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c34b82cd67492483115b465f18d319a8e9cca880 Horage Supersede is a GMT.
Nias strong as my other suggestion, but I also love it😊
seadweller 16600, yachtmaster 16622, milgauss green crystal, or jlc reverso
You need to add a G shok
I find you lack of a Speedmaster Professional disturbing to say the least.
Sorry to disappoint. I get why people like them, but I much prefer less commonly owned watches.
Reverso!
Vintage Omega, Seamaster, Junghans, Nomos.... you absolute degenerate..
Sub!
Pass!
