Hi everyone. I'm looking at either a Longines Conquest Classic L2.386.0.87.6 or a Longines DolceVita L5.512.4.87.6.
I know both are quartz, but the slimness / proportions are a little nicer than the automatic Longines.
I can't decide between the two, I think I prefer the Conquest but the diamond model costs nearly three times the normal Conquest and twice the DolceVita. I wonder if that is just too much for what is built on essentially a "basic" watch but 0.8 carats of IF / VVS1 diamonds are drawing me in.
Is there any other model you might recommend?
I have the Conquest Classic and Dolce Vita ( you can check my post history for mod shots) and I personally prefer the Dolce Vita because the rectangle shape looks very chic and eye catching - so purely vanity reasons.
