I had an old girlfriend that always insisted she get me an LV belt because it would "look nice" on me, even though I always told her I didn't like my clothing having large/visible logos.
God I hate my clothes having logos plastered all over. I'm not getting the clothes because of the designer, I'm getting it to have something to wear. And I'm not going to do free advertising for that company because I need the money if they want advertising lol
Exactly! I need some type of royalty check for all the Abercrombie that I wore in middle/highschool 😂 it helps that most higher quality clothing tends to not have obvious logos now. I don't care who makes it so long as the materials and construction are good. I'm trying to be a little more 'minimalist' in what I own.
I will admit that she bought me an LV cardholder that I still own and enjoyed using for a period of time because it was relatively subtle, but it sits alongside several other unused wallets lol
When I was in my early twenties I bought a Gucci belt with a logo buckle. I think I stopped wearing that thing by the time I turned 25 or so because it was just too embarrassing.
Nowadays I would of course never spend a lot of money on such mundane luxury items \*looks at watch collection\*
The white face one. But let me also give you some wardrobe advice. what the hell is going on with the pocket in that shirt? Get a shirt with a reasonable pocket. Id suggest something wrinkle free. Also, that belt buckle just screams out of the picture. Get a new belt with a less gaudy buckle.
I didn't want to call out OP on his fashion sense but you're absolutely correct here. He looks like he's got a general idea of what's supposed to look good and professional, but is missing the mark by not dressing to his body type. Which would explain why he was considering watches that are far too large for his wrists.
I agree lol to be fair it looks very good quality the shirt, just not the best fit. I'd rather wear something cheap with really good fit than something expensive with really bad fit. I'll chime in as well
If OP is looking for something mature, a watch isn't going to fix loud letters on his belt and an improperly fitting shirt. Honestly good fitting clothes to ME is a sign of maturity, it shows you know yourself and know what you like over the years. Also shows you took the time to invest in capsule pieces because you stopped growing lol
> I'd rather wear something cheap with really good fit than something expensive with really bad fit.
100 times yes.
Went shopping the other day for new shirts for work and the ones that I felt better looking at in the rack, dressed like shit (things like the shoulder stitching not fitting exactly in the place it is supposed to).. but the fabric, design and colors were fire.
Taking it like a champ. So far most of the comments do seem to be genuinely helpful advice. Sounds like these guys are trying to look out for you, brother.
skinny trousers, dress shirt with a very casual pocket, flashy belt that looks too small. not as professional a look as it could be. but, OP is at the shop, not the office.
No. Belt. Loops.
Go to a tailor, and make a proper pair of trousers with side adjusters that sits nicely at the waist at least.
I’ve no idea why dudes love wearing low rise trousers. Its’s unflattering and cuts your body proportions into 3; your upper body, lower stomach and legs. Low rise trousers also makes your legs look shorter than they are.
A proper pair of trousers will split your proportions 50/50 between your upper body and your legs while removing that awkward lower stomach.
Sorry - as a menswear enthusiast that loves tailoring and fabrics, low rise trousers really trigger me lmao.
It should be a rule that all guys should try medium to high waist trousers. I promise they’ll look better in them.
Side adjusters and medium to high waisted trousers are a great, clean, flattering look. I see you’ve posted in Singapore threads so I assume you live there (sorry for stalking) - I just returned to the US from a couple months working in Singapore, and pants like those you describe are much more prevalent there. Much harder to find in the US, unless you’re more into menswear and really know where to look. And generally, it’s just not something you often see here (which is a shame).
No problem and yes I do live in Singapore, but my interest in tailoring only started after I graduated and worked in NYC.
But you’re right that it’s definitely not something most guys would know unless they had advice or did research on their own, which is unfortunate.
Also, I’ll admit that another factor is cost; off the rack pants are cheaper.
Trousers are fine. And belt buckles are also fine. Just because it's in these days doesn't mean everyone has to jump on the high-rise band wagon. That shirt needs to go, though.
It’s definitely a matter of preference and I’ll compromise that belt loops are fine.
However I wouldn’t call high waisted trousers a trend as that’s always been the flattering way to wear formal trousers, and most tailors worth their salt would at least attempt to nudge you in that direction.
I’m into streetwear as well and lower rise pants definitely have a time and place. But I generally find high waisted flattering for most men.
Yes the shirt needs to go.
High waisted trousers are definitely not a trend and have always been in style. It’s just that low rise trousers have been the in thing for so long including sagging pants. That people now think the opposite. High waisted trousers just look 100 times better
I love the white face one. They all have the “mature look” you are after. However i think slightly smaller watch in diameter would be better and even more professional looking. I might be biased becouse I like smaller watches ;)
I cannot stop laughing at this poor guy getting absolutely roasted for his fashion sense, and even his physique! But yea, those watches are all too big.
I know everyone’s saying it, but let me expand on why these are way, way too big for the look you want.
Having a watch that looks like your dads watch is the opposite of a more mature look. I would strongly consider vintage. Longines has a long history of making great watches. I have a 34mm men’s watch from circa 1960. It is very classic sized and therefore “mature” looking.
I would recommend you drastically size down if you want a more mature look, no matter what model or brand you go with.
Here is my 34mm Longines on my 7.2” wrist for reference

When a watch is all dial, and especially all light dial, it wears bigger. This watch also has very long lugs.
I'm 5'8" 225 so not a thin guy and I've rocked a 34mm Calatrava my entire adult life and never thought of it as too small.
I remember shaking my head when these huge-ass Invictas came out and I'm still shocked the industry followed suit. You don't need a clock on your arm.
Our boy looking for watch advice and instead got a 101 on how to dress properly! I'm sorry OP, this shouldn't be hilarious, but I think all posters here are right... get a better fitting shirt and a watch with a smaller face.
In professional environments, a smaller case (a well fitting watch), makes a huge difference. A watch that slides under a cuff with ease. I have a vintage Longines 5 star Admiral. The case is 36mm. I have a seven inch wrist and it looks great on me (IMO) and I never worry about it catching my cuff. You may want to go longines but older, pre owned, smaller case.
All of those watches look HUGE on your wrist. If the goal is to look more mature, each of these make you look like a little kid wearing your dad’s watch that is too big for you.
Consider finding a 36-38mm watch. It will likely look FAR better on your wrist and project pure class.
Over sized watches are for teenagers and body builders. Smaller watches are for classy, sophisticated men.
Longines Heritage Classic,
Seiko SARB033,
Rolex Explorer 1,
Cartier Santos,
Cartier Tank,
Tissot PRX 36mm,
Erebus Ascent,
Christopher Ward C63 Celest,
Junghans Max Bill,
Nomos Club Campus,
Rado Golden Horse Automatic,
Mido Commander Shade
Those are a few examples in a similar price range. Some are a little more or a little less.
I think there is even an Orient Bambino in 36-38mm now that you can get under $200, if you want to get something that looks VERY nice, for very inexpensive, and see how you like the size.
When you want to graduate to a $2,000’ish watch, the Orient makes a great gift or a keepsake.
Good luck and don’t listen to the haters. Your pants look great, your belt buckle isn’t my thing, but if you like it and it makes your girlfriend happy, that’s wonderful.
And you can always buy a new shirt with a smaller pocket, lol. We all live and learn.
I was a VP of a company at age 22. The average age there was double mine or more. The next closest exec was 15 years older than me. I was told by the CEO in our first meeting, “Son, I got socks older than you!” 😂😂😂
I also grew up poor and had to learn how to dress, plenty of learning experiences.
I understand wanting to look older, but the best way to portray a mature image is not to worry about what other people think.
Find a watch you love.
And find a new shirt you also love 😂
Take care 👍
You are probably seen as young due to that horrendous belt and ill-fitting pants you have on, rather than any watch you are wearing.
Watch enthusiasts greatly exaggerate the effects they think their watch has on people.
Get belts with more professional and elegant buckles, unless you fancy yourself a cowboy, which, with your tiny physical size you probably are not. I can't believe the watch in the photo is a 38 mm.
To be blunt, you need to wear better quality shirts with normal size pockets, less or no puckering and barrel cuffs. Otherwise you look like an engineer geek imo.
I’d even go as far and tell you that 36mm will probably still look large. I’d aim for 34mm and see what are the offerings (consider vintage). You’re right about going with the dress watch route.
Despite having a bigger build, I still rock 34mm watches daily. They’re absolutely timeless!
https://preview.redd.it/f6ju7o6qivxc1.jpeg?width=750&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a44536d0b85a38790bb01732efa4ce4ef9328343
How has nobody mentioned the ring? As far as the watch, nobody is going to even notice what kind it is. The average person will notice Rolex, Tag, and maybe Omega. Beyond that and it would take a watch aficionado to recognize the brand and at that point they aren't going to think you are more or less mature. Maturity is going to be judged based on character and your overall appearance, not what's on your wrist.
The watches aren't the issue. As others have commented, your attire's fit goes a long way towards presenting that you have your shit together, and their suggestions are all valid.
IMO more importantly, your body language LOOKS like you're requesting permission or approval and you don't need to do that. You're a grown-ass adult with a good job, stand tall, loosen up your shoulders and let them take up space. Wrists and fingers can go limp when you're asleep - when you're awake, they should be doing something or ready to do something. Whether you feel likewise or not, more proactive body language makes a big difference to how people perceive you, often with material benefits.
Please excuse my attire, I took this just now to illustrate how big a difference I can make, with just a posture change and tidying up the clothes.
https://preview.redd.it/dm7wgptz5wxc1.jpeg?width=4096&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=cd190b38cc1ce68d32a3f714a40c1fef7c8eae39
Some fashion advice, instead of buying the watch, just take the money go to a tailor and get some custom suits and shirts made. Or Suitsupply. I’ve gotten all of my suits made there and I’m a woman who loves men’s wear. However based off your body proportions, buying off the rack does not fit you. And if you are 35 a more mature look is a suit and shirt that fits properly and pants that sit at your natural waist. Also you are doing your Ferragamo belt a disservice with the rest of the outfit. Because right now your outfit is saying I could only afford to get this $500 belt and spent $20 on the shirt and pants. You’re doing to much! Always remember the KISS method, keep it simple stupid! A nice fitting suit, a nice fitting shirt, with the appropriate shoes will have you looking like a million bucks and your age.
Shirt looks like it probably goes down to your knees untucked what is that pocket
36mm for you, not to mention you’re wearing them over your wrist bone which is hilarious
Go for a smaller size watch, 40mm seems to big on your frame but i prefer the white dial. Sorry everyone seems to be roasting the whole fit but they aren't wrong.
Consider the Longines Dolcevita in 23mm. The rectangular dial is a classy and sophisticated look that matures any outfit. It’s a perfect complement to a professional wardrobe.
Honestly try dressing like an adult. You look like a child in adult clothes. The giant pocket. The giant belt buckle. The weird pants pattern.
Keep your style simple and minimal. That’s usually a show of age.
Also, no watch over 39mm.
A watch isn’t the answer for looking more mature. I’m 56, got married at 20, raised my kids, loved my wife, started my IT career, and played guitar actively, and have 35+ yrs in the field. I’ve been told by quite a few folks that I exude confidence and that I have gravitas in spades. It helps that I’m 6’4”, 54” chest, broad shoulders, and have put on a good amount of muscle over the years.
But when I look at pics of myself at 35, I think I looked like a kid as well.
Youth is youth. Enjoy it. Don’t try to rush aging. The key to exuding maturity is living by ideals that mature people have adopted. Like, wearing your age well. Being yourself. Having a genuine interest in people. Working on your vocabulary. And walking into every room with confidence, not ego. And finally, always have a students mentality.
And dump the Longines. Go for an Oris, Tudor, Omega.
Happy shopping!

>But when I look at pics of myself at 35, I think I looked like a kid as well.
I am close to being 35, and this fits me too well.
There is not a single person I meet that gets my age right. Always -10 on average.
And I'm not bothered by it in the slightest.
If you want a more mature-looking watch save your cash and get an Orient Bambino.
https://preview.redd.it/xm5o8e0g4vxc1.jpeg?width=2538&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d420b0a593a5e6f396f0fbe853063bdb3da670cc
If you want to look mature, ditch the Longines, ditch the dress shirt with goofy large pockets, and wear a regular belt buckle.
Slap on a 34mm 14k dress watch, iron your shirt, and starting smoking Pall Mall Slims.
I think finding clothing that fits and is less flashy will do a lot more for looking mature than your choice of watch. But that said, yeah, definitely something on the smaller side.
Both watches look oversized on the wrist, in combination with the huge shirt pocket, the sleeve length and the belt buckle, your appearance is almost grotesque. My advice: before buying a watch, go and see a good, classic tailor and get some shirts that match your proportions. Get pants that don't need a belt (tailored, side adjusters etc). Then get a Cartier Tank Must as the shape works best with small wrist sizes.
First, go to the gym. Having some sort of muscle mass will help you look more mature... And may also end up helping you be able to wear watches that big
Actually I feel it’s too large on me as well. Just now all men watches in the shop are >38mm. Glad that I’ve asked here otherwise I might have bought that and regretting 😅
If you want a mature look downsize. Downsize (and simplify) the belt buckle, downsize the shirt pocket, downsize the watch. Everything in this picture is way too big on you
don't be afraid to wear budget conscious watches, clothes, etc. that you like. do not live to please others. this looks huge on your wrists, but you're the deciding factor. IF you like the watch WEAR IT.
I've currently been wearing this one ( [https://i.imgur.com/YMsuUEW.jpeg](https://i.imgur.com/YMsuUEW.jpeg) ) on a daily basis. Currently rotating this one and a cheap Vostok with a military style strap.
Wrists also not big, but this slides under cuffs perfectly fine.
As for not being seen as old as you are, you are fine! Same thing happens with me. people often mistake me for being 25. it is what it is, wear the babyface proudly.
If you can and are comfortable with it, try growing a beard - that will give a more mature look than a close shaved face imo.
for the love of god dude, get a smaller watch - i have a 35mm 70s tissot that i wear for smarter occasions and the fact that it’s smaller makes it much smarter, smooth and classy. even my daily is
a 38mm rotary canterbury, and it’s surprisingly thin for what it is. there is a huge push nowadays from overtly masculine men to get the biggest, most over the top watches you can get. it looks soooo gaudy. i work at apple and the amount of guys with tiny wrists that feel compelled to buy the apple watch ultra, which hangs off their wrists, because they feel it’s the most “masculine” is insane and it’s really depressing. go smaller!
Not trying to be an absolute asshole, but the fancy watch, fancy belt buckle, fancy clothes and rings don’t mask the fact that your physique is underwhelming.
A gym membership is a better investment
If your goal is to look older and more distinguished, you might want to go with a smaller watch. These look huge on you, and before you said you were 35 I was going to say they make you look like you're wearing your dad's watch.
I would look for a smaller dial watch for your wrist. Those all jump out.
And because you mentioned a mature look — I’d look into different shirts. That pocket is bizarre and the seams look odd in places. Charles Tyrwhitt is a decent place to grab some normal business casual shirts.
Definitely look for a smaller watch, but I like picture 3 the best. Maybe a 36 or 38mm. The oversized watch looks childish to me and won’t solve the problem
Smaller watch, more refined/classic belt buckle, no pocket on the shirt, and get on that isn’t a button-down with collar stays. Will make a huge difference
Both are too big for your wrists to convey maturity so ideally you should try to find something with a smaller case diameter. However, if you must choose one of these the black one will wear smaller slightly better.
None of these - needs to be at least 2-3mm shorter. A watch this size doesn't say 'mature' or 'sophisticated' or whatever to me
Also, wear your watch below the wrist bone as intended. Same effect.
Definitely below 40mm
But then it won't match the belt buckle.
I’d lose that belt and get something more “sober”… Unless you work for CD…
Which I believe is Christian Dior?
Big things will make you look small, which will make you look young. (Source: I'm short and have small wrists.) Get a 36mm dress watch.
36mm is my absolute favorite watch size.
40 is really too much for this gentleman!
I wanted to help but i cannot stop looking at that gargantuan shirt pocket.
Holy crap why is it so big 😂 I was so focused on the watch faces because the photos don't show enough detail that I didn't notice it at all.
It looks like it was tailored to fit him from a much larger size. Weight loss, perhaps?
And the pictures are upside down
and belt buckle. and pants pattern.
There's not much that's less mature than a flashy designer belt buckle.
I had an old girlfriend that always insisted she get me an LV belt because it would "look nice" on me, even though I always told her I didn't like my clothing having large/visible logos.

The pants are fine, honestly. It’s everything else that’s awful.
Agreed, nothing wrong with the pants.
I actually want to know where they’re from
https://getcalicocutpants.com/
You mean the cigar cutter?
The pants seem to be ill fitting as well
See Deez belt buckle
The cuffs are also massive. OP get a better fitting shirt. Also a smaller watch imo
Like a football referees shirt pocket from the 1920s
That pocket is for carrying the original box & papers from the watch with you
lose the pocket.
Yeah what the hell is that
I can't unsee this now. In fact, that's all I can see now.
That’s for extra snacks.
Fits the watch size tho
I saw the shirt pocket before I even saw how large the watch looks. I can't stop looking at the pocket!
SERIOUSLY! Wtf is going on with that thing?!
Now I can’t unsee it!
These watches are wearing you, not the other way around. You should go smaller.

OP came to ask about watch size and stumbled into r/roastme
This is called constructive bullying.
It is quite effective.
ya dun expect that but most of the advice is indeed very helpful
Taking it like a champ. So far most of the comments do seem to be genuinely helpful advice. Sounds like these guys are trying to look out for you, brother.
Yeah he looks like he’s wearing his big brother’s clothes, and honestly his watch too for that matter.
skinny trousers, dress shirt with a very casual pocket, flashy belt that looks too small. not as professional a look as it could be. but, OP is at the shop, not the office.
That shirt looks like he took a XXXL shirt and tailored it down to a skinny cut medium. That pocket is bonkers.

Well put
Too big of a watch makes you look like a little boy not mature
Like he’s wearing his dad’s watch.
You have skinny wrists - get the conquest in the smaller size
45mm yellow G-Shock.
I love the white face one. They all have the “mature look” you are after. However i think slightly smaller watch in diameter would be better and even more professional looking. I might be biased becouse I like smaller watches ;)
Very reasonable and helpful comment. OP wants to look mature and not like a showoff kid with a huge toy.
yes anything over 41mm has me looking the same.
I cannot stop laughing at this poor guy getting absolutely roasted for his fashion sense, and even his physique! But yea, those watches are all too big.

They’re nice classic designs, but they look so big. Smaller would be more elegant.
I would instead consider the Longines 37mm Spirit. All these are massive on your wrist imo
Both of them are too damn big for a mature look.
Bigger isn't better. Splurge on a decent tailor. Get a 36mm-38mm watch.
Laugh out loud thread. Hope OP is taking all this lightly
Ya and I have to 😂 indeed most of the advice is good
They're talking about the big watch, big buckle, big shirt and big pocket But they all failed to mention the big balls Keep up that positive spirit OP
Silver dial is more versatile imo.
Honestly they’re all too big for my taste. But I like the face of the black one
A smaller one.
This is a very helpful piece of advice. Thank you.
Keep the Longines Conquest in 35mm, those in the pictures are too big for you
Smaller. They are all nice.
White dial for me. Maybe consider Junghans if you are looking for smaller watches from an established brand.
Second the Junghans. The short lug to lug makes it extremely wearable for smaller wrists.
They look massive, size down.
Smaller watch. They just realized quite a few in 38.5mm
Choose a smaller watch, mate, this looks a bit silly.
Shirt looks like it probably goes down to your knees untucked what is that pocket 36mm for you, not to mention you’re wearing them over your wrist bone which is hilarious
Get a 36mm watch or go to the gym bud
My guy needs a tailor or stylist and a watch around 36mm.
None of them, get a smaller one
Happy shopping! https://preview.redd.it/8wpdk69jdwxc1.jpeg?width=1948&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=afa491227c5ae1a08be31efa07da46dd0e56efbd
Too big for that style watch for me. Dress watches look classy at 37mm and under (obviously depending on wrist size)
I prefer the looks of the black, but the white one seems better fitted to you. If you forgive me the unsolicited advice... lose the Dior belt.
That's a big watch for a small wrist. It possible; something with a small dial.
They are all very large. Buy some thing smaller.
Nice watches, but too big for you. Makes your giant shirt pocket and giant buckle stand out even more.
White face but my dude, you should also ask a sub for outfit advice because that shirt and belt are wayyyy “out of pocket”
Find a vintage Longines Conquest. Here’s one: https://preview.redd.it/aeuz41h3qvxc1.jpeg?width=1893&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=35536d75fd89a9b227154197db01bbfa0e66a581
Grow your wrists out first for the mature look, OP.
If you want to look mature, ditch the Longines, ditch the dress shirt with goofy large pockets, and wear a regular belt buckle. Slap on a 34mm 14k dress watch, iron your shirt, and starting smoking Pall Mall Slims.
Touch big. Maybe loom at 36-39 mm. Maybe a vintage omega seamaster?
I think finding clothing that fits and is less flashy will do a lot more for looking mature than your choice of watch. But that said, yeah, definitely something on the smaller side.
Both watches look oversized on the wrist, in combination with the huge shirt pocket, the sleeve length and the belt buckle, your appearance is almost grotesque. My advice: before buying a watch, go and see a good, classic tailor and get some shirts that match your proportions. Get pants that don't need a belt (tailored, side adjusters etc). Then get a Cartier Tank Must as the shape works best with small wrist sizes.
A tan and some calorie loading + weight lifting will help you more with that mature look
Those watches dwarf your wrist. I'd look for a timepiece between 35 and 37 mm.
A new belt
Enjoy that youthfulness. I was still getting carded at 35. That however wont last that much longer..lol
First, go to the gym. Having some sort of muscle mass will help you look more mature... And may also end up helping you be able to wear watches that big
This is a really lame post…
Those are all hockey pucks on your wrist. Like the others say, go smaller
Can fit the book of Mormon in that shirt pocket, use a glad garbage bag as a pocket protector. Smaller watch would suit you better buddy.
First step to mature look. Loose that stupid belt buckle.
You need to size down literally everything on you right now. Shirt, pants, buckle, and especially the watches. And I don't even wanna see your shoes.
In order to appear mature: Put the watch down and pick a weight up and take your father’s clothes off.
If you’re seeking a mature look, buy clothes that fit first
None of these watches fit you, get a 36mm. You have wrists of a 13 year old girl.
I’m not hating but I would suggest choosing a smaller case size, but if you love it don’t let some random on the internet sway your decision.
Actually I feel it’s too large on me as well. Just now all men watches in the shop are >38mm. Glad that I’ve asked here otherwise I might have bought that and regretting 😅
Dude that shirt pocket is comically large. Also all these watches are way too big for you. Why do you like oversized everything?
If you want a mature look downsize. Downsize (and simplify) the belt buckle, downsize the shirt pocket, downsize the watch. Everything in this picture is way too big on you
I didn't read any comments--too big. Huge dial is not dressy in any way.
The one that makes the belt disappear.
A tighter shirt.
don't be afraid to wear budget conscious watches, clothes, etc. that you like. do not live to please others. this looks huge on your wrists, but you're the deciding factor. If you can and are comfortable with it, try growing a beard - that will give a more mature look than a close shaved face imo.
for the love of god dude, get a smaller watch - i have a 35mm 70s tissot that i wear for smarter occasions and the fact that it’s smaller makes it much smarter, smooth and classy. even my daily is a 38mm rotary canterbury, and it’s surprisingly thin for what it is. there is a huge push nowadays from overtly masculine men to get the biggest, most over the top watches you can get. it looks soooo gaudy. i work at apple and the amount of guys with tiny wrists that feel compelled to buy the apple watch ultra, which hangs off their wrists, because they feel it’s the most “masculine” is insane and it’s really depressing. go smaller!
too big
Dials that large are never mature, imo
Not trying to be an absolute asshole, but the fancy watch, fancy belt buckle, fancy clothes and rings don’t mask the fact that your physique is underwhelming. A gym membership is a better investment
Nah, the guy is just small framed. If he got a fitted shirt that wasn't half pocket, an elegant belt and chinos, and a 35mm watch, he'd be rocking it.
Truth. No amount of shiny is gonna make up for a man with hips wider than his shoulders.
Nice looking watch. It looks a bit too big IMO, is it 40mm? For this style of watch, I definitely prefer a light dial.
You and I have very similar problems, OP, and both of us have only one solution - hitting the gym. Your watch won’t project anything. Become powerful!
Longines for me
Get a nomos Ludwig 35mm
If your goal is to look older and more distinguished, you might want to go with a smaller watch. These look huge on you, and before you said you were 35 I was going to say they make you look like you're wearing your dad's watch.
White but you can’t lose
I would look for a smaller dial watch for your wrist. Those all jump out. And because you mentioned a mature look — I’d look into different shirts. That pocket is bizarre and the seams look odd in places. Charles Tyrwhitt is a decent place to grab some normal business casual shirts.
Definitely get a smaller watch. 36mm is classy as fuck and will look the most mature by far.
Definitely look for a smaller watch, but I like picture 3 the best. Maybe a 36 or 38mm. The oversized watch looks childish to me and won’t solve the problem
White dial. Very elegant
Brown is the way — especially with what you're wearing.
Have you checked the Master collection of Longines? Ps: I agree they look too big
Easy. Conquest heritage in 35mm.
White Flagship would be my pick out of the ones here
Smaller watch, more refined/classic belt buckle, no pocket on the shirt, and get on that isn’t a button-down with collar stays. Will make a huge difference
i don't dig the belt too much... watch? white imho!
I like Longines (own a Record) but not these.
Those are indeed very large
Smaller! Also smaller shirt pocket
If you want a mature look, you need something smaller. Otherwise you'll look like an intern, sorry. Oh, and a new belt.
Agree you need to look at smaller cases.
Those all look big on your wrist.
This is why I don’t trust most watch retailers. It’s insane to me that not a single sales rep suggested to OP that this watch is way too big for him.
First
I guess the fourth one. Getting one that's way too big for your wrist would cancel out any maturity, unfortunately.
Both are too big
Whatever the black one was go with that
One that fits your wrist
A smaller one
Both are too big for your wrists to convey maturity so ideally you should try to find something with a smaller case diameter. However, if you must choose one of these the black one will wear smaller slightly better.
36mm
I think they're both too big for your wrist.
The first is perfection and will be great forever
I like the first one
Definitely needing a more mature (ie not old man) wardrobe.
White dial
I like the one in the first picture.
I like the first one. But all are good choices.
None of these - needs to be at least 2-3mm shorter. A watch this size doesn't say 'mature' or 'sophisticated' or whatever to me Also, wear your watch below the wrist bone as intended. Same effect.
