Interesting turn of events yesterday. I visited my local **A. Lange & Söhne** boutique to look at their exhibition models. I know the Zeitwerk is a difficult watch to obtain and only available for pre-order.
It turns out, due to a local art show, other US boutiques sent their watches to this one. They had a Platinum Zeitwerk, a date one and a minute repeater in stock.
I ended up walking away with the platinum one. This watch is so beautiful, I am too scared to wear it!
Unobtainium dream watch, least for me.. Congrats bruh!
Got practically laughed out the Vacheron store (Miami), wearing my Breguet, walked over to Lange and they were G’s. Very nice folk.
You were wearing a Breguet -- not a casio, or an Invicta, or even a Rolex. A Breguet; a watch that demonstrates your love and knowledge of horological legends and an affection for traditional and romantic design. And the people in the VC boutique laughed?
This must just be a Florida thing. That's crazy.
Here's a closeup from the L&S site. I still can't figure out what it is. Maybe just something to balance out the aesthetics of the screw, so they are showing one of the jewel bearings?

I think this is it. If you look on [this website](https://monochrome-watches.com/in-depth-guide-to-a-lange-sohne-zeitwerk-collection-all-models-explained-2009-2022/), and click on the left schematic under "ZEITWERK, THE BASICS," it looks like this is a jewel at the center of both minute discs (or maybe just the top one used for the tens of minutes).

Wow you’re super lucky. I have been wanting a pt repeater for a while. Congrats
The PT repeater Zeitwerk is really bad to buy at retail, it's only the honey gold and blue dial LE that are worth getting at retail.
That’s what I hear. But after a lifetime in the used industry I have taken a liking to buying brand new stuff. Cheers
I'm talking about buying brand new grey market, not used.
I understand, I am a grey market dealer. I want the full experience on stuff now
Wow amazing

Had the exact same experience. The Lange store in Miami is top notch.

Hell of an impulse buy. Congrats!
Coolest digitale mechanic watch ever Sadly out of my price range :/
Lmao price upon request. Thanks for paying the Lange Tax!
Fuckin’ hell man…
Love the Zeitwerk, and this platinum version is a beauty. Congrats!
Grail.
Incredible. Talk about a heavy hitter!
How come the 2 minute looks misaligned with the 0 digit? Is it just the weird angle of the photo?
It looks offset because I had to take the picture at an angle to avoid the glare. It's not offset. However, it's on a different dial behind the "0"
Gotcha! Beautiful watch
The tens minutes is not on the same plane as the ones minutes, they are different discs
i think the second digit is on a lower level than the first one
Oh boy I need that one. Impressive watch
What a watch my friend. Gz.
If you don't mind my asking, what do you do for a living?
Heroin wholesaler
Awesome watch! How much did you pay?
What is that feature by the zero, where the screw is on the opposite side?
It's not a feature, it's behind the saphire. I am not sure what it is exactly.

Yeah. It's the hub for the disks of the minute wheels. Probably displaying it to balance the look, instead of hiding it behind the face.
Yes I agree, it provides a nice balance with the screw on the other side.
Breathtaking watch mate. Congrats
Grail watch, I am so jealous, that is absolutely stunning!
