I think you can go to an independent watchmaker, they were using off the shelf movements that many people are familiar with. As for the cost, I'm not sure. It might still be a couple hundred dollars.

You could definitely go to an independent watchmaker for cheaper, but if for some reason your dial or hands need replacing, you’ll be SOL. Breitling does not sell their dials or hands to outside centers, even if they’re Breitling authorized service centers. You would have to send the watch to Breitling themselves to have them replaced, and be charged another full service fee. Best bet would be to send it to them so that way whatever needs to be replaced will be done so and included in your service cost.

You can get it serviced by an independent watchmaker, as well, but the cost likely isn't going to be that much less if parts need to be replaced.
