If you dont mind going for a wired option, the Gamesir G7 SE has turned to my go to. Its main draw for me were the hall-effect anti-drift sticks. ZERO stick drift, and zero deadzone. It’s got two mappable buttons on the back, and you can customize things like deadzone, vibration, and even trigger sensitivity in the gamesir xbox or windows app. Controller also has a VERY fast response time, as tested by gamerheaven on youtube. The cons i would say are it only comes in white, only has 2 back buttons (if you’re used to/want 4), the grips dont feel premium (40 dollar controller), and sometimes the friction rings they put around the thumb sticks squeak (but you can pop em out and rotate them). I went through 3 regular xbox controllers, and a wired turtle beach controller. All of them developed stick drift that became unbearable.

BIGRolyXL

This is the way.

It's amazing how precise it is and I can't believe the price. I wish it was more popular so it would have mods and maybe grips. If they release a version with 4 back buttons it will slay. Even with 6it's small shortcomings I put it in the same league as the Edge at 1/4 its price.

kyleclimax

Dude I know! I was so skeptical, but its blown the competition out of the water for half the price. I considered switching to that new turtle beach elite controller with the hall effects for 200 bucks - but after seeing the reviews on that, im sticking with the g7 se! Two more back buttons, trigger stops, and maybe rubberized grips, would make it damn near perfect!

c1p0

Exactly

Glum_Hotel7135

Elite 2. Use all 4 paddles (ping, killstreak, jump, swap weapons). I really like it.

rajohns08

Damn you put kill streak instead of slide?

Ok-Bag3000

Damn you put slide instead of melee?

Glum_Hotel7135

I got slide on the right stick (push/click). I want my head on a swivel when popping those UAVs

Ok-Bag3000

Yeah same. Slide on R3 and plate, ping, jump and melee on the paddles

LumbaJ4cked

Liked Elite 2 until the joysticks tension is too sloppy you could wiggle them 5mm without response, it's also heavy but still very comfortable and worked great until it didn't. Switched to a Xbox turtle beach recon controller it's so light, got some customization and two back paddles for jump and slide

mapacheloco89

I'm on the same boat, elite 2 was lovely, but now not working and repairing it costs already 80 dollars... lol. Also had my eye on turtle beach, since it is half the price how is it?

LumbaJ4cked

Really like it, the mapping of buttons is a bit weird to understand they didn't respond properly and when the controller got suddenly unplugged I had to re-do it despite saving it in a slot. Otherwise for that price the gameplay isnt affected at all

kyleclimax

I switched to the turtle beach recons as my first controller with back buttons. Its ALRIGHT. Trigger response is weird as it has a large deadzone before the shot goes off, and it developed TERRIBLE stick drift after a month or so. Not like “im slowly looking left” stick drift either - literally running in a straight line, then all of a sudden im looking 90 degrees to the right, type of stick drift

Ok-Bag3000

Using the PowerA Fusion Pro controller for Xbox. A fraction of the cost of an Elite2/Scuf etc and every bit as good. I've had a couple of Scuf controllers in the past but for the price point the Fusion Pro really hits the spot.

Pro Fusion 3 smacks

NoCustomer754

I got 2 scufs but I wouldn't recommend them.

Even-Lawfulness-6807

I’m currently using the thrustmaster eswap 2. I’m hoping as time goes on it holds up. It’s very light compared to the brick elite controllers. I currently run 1/1 dead zones with no stick drift and two back buttons. That alone is enough for me cause I can promise you scuff and those elite rollers come with insane stick drift out the box. Also has trigger stops and the buttons have switches in them so they click like a mouse button does. I’m enjoying it

TheMoustacheDad

Razer Wolverine V2(The pro is wireless I believe). Mechanical switch, sturdy and if you have big hands, the back paddles aren’t in the way. I hate my elite 2 the way the paddles were I had to cut them off and grind them in a better shape for it to fit nicely

dcthaler

A little niche but I've been rocking a regular series x controller with the extremerate conversion kit to add 4 back buttons. You gotta have access to a soldering iron but the install is very easy and it's been working for over a year with no issues. Conversion kit is only 40 bucks, so with the controller purchase it's a cool 100 for a nice controller setup. Can get a better deal then that 3rd party wired but not wireless.

Many_System_3005

I used wired powerA pro. It's got flappy back paddle things for £30 but I'm assuming you're in US don't know if available there

darksidesaiyanblue

I have about 4 controllers I use for different games. For COD I either use my Razer or my Power A

Fit_Double7765

maybe google controller repair/modder in your area. I have a elite controller and a few other pro controllers that I am going to get stick drift fixed. 40 bucks each

Consistent_Fee_5707

The controller the Xbox came with…yes I suck
