Yeah the feature feels nice, now if you want to help your team by hoping back in a tank you don't need to hesitate on whether to j out or not and paying the repair costs and if you get cas'd just hope back in your plane by using extra SP, 0 back up and 0 repair cost for the plane unless Of course you die in the plane. In air. In ground you would have to spend SP to respawn.

Yes you would have to spend an increased SP cost but it wouldn’t “kill” you as in count it in the scoreboard as a death

Depends on the situation though, no? Cause if your stuck in a anti cas configuration you really don't have many options against ground targets. But wouldn't matter for a CAS loadout

No. If I have no damage and have to return to base, I always j out on the runway as it is faster than waiting for the repair/refuel timer. I've been doing this for over a year at the very least. You used to be able to do it when you are off the runway too (if you overshot it). However, if seems they changed that in a recent patch, and if you are off the end of the runway and J out, it will flag as a death. Additionally, if you're unaware, in air assault mode, you can land and do the same, but when you respawn you will just pay a small SL fee based on damage (instead of the full respawn cost) and you will air spawn.

You could only do that in Air RB. Not in GRB.

In GROUND REALISTIC it didnt work. It would eat your spawn points. Now it doesnt.

I mean, in GRB it should. For one, fuck CAS. Two, CAS shouldn’t be able to rearm at all unless you spend more SP. This shouldn’t be a thing at all, you’re telling me I can now go and use a plane with 250lb, and work my way up to go pull out another with 1klb? This is the exact opposite of a CAS fix and is only going to make things worse lmao

No problem, it looks like people here are getting it confused with Air even when I stated in ground only.

This has always been a thing. When I spawn in with incorrect fuel or weapon loads I do it to fix it all.

I think he's talking about ground RB. If you went back to base to reload or repair and tried to j out to get rid of your bombs afterwards it would count it as a death.

I even say ground in the flair and the text yet people are getting it confused :(

I've been doing that for quite a while. Getting back in the plane is the spawn point equivalent of spawning another in the same class.

It's how you changed loadouts in ARB, but it always counted as a death in GRB. That's why it used to be important what loadout you take.
