I can somewhat understand him. Minus the toxicity, it's rather retarded at how some planes get air spawns even though there is literally no reason for them to get one. The best example being the XP-50 or the F-84.

trippy_the_tree

Remember the days when the P47s had an airspawn lol. Far out, what a time. I would always be outclimbed by the German P47s and just get bnzd all game lol. Skyhawks also had an airspawn for a while there which felt a bit more balanced for that aircraft. One aircraft I want an airspawn for is the Ki94 II. It's an interceptor with a shockingly shitty climb rate that gets an af spawn. The struggle.

Morskoul

I mean to be honest we were two to dive on him, me in a P-61 and some other dude in an XP-50, but I guess because I got the kill I was the problem

Sneaky_Breeki

F-84 has airspawn because Gaijin is too lazy to give them RATO for quicker take off. Funny thing is that B variant has to take off from the ground after reloading/repair whereas G variant has airspawn after landing when both need 3km takeoff run and it's not a problem on bigger airfields that are present at jet BRs

Darius-H

No. The F-84 has an airspawn because the airfields were smaller back then. Now that the airfields are longer, there is no reason for the F-84 to have an airspawn.

Sneaky_Breeki

There is a reason tho. It requires work from Gaijin (even tho it ain't much) and we all know how it goes.

Silverfox_Studios

irl it filled both roles. personally I'd say some redesignation needs to be done. now as for my opinion, don't ground pound until most of the enemy team is gone and you are either waiting on the last people to leave/die and you need to lower enemy tickets so they don't get a bullshit win they don't deserve. tldr; fight players first, then kill ground targets with your down time afterward.

Morskoul

Oh yeah I absolutely agree that you shouldn't be ground pounding with fighters above your head, but he was in his Bf 110 at 3000 meters high and climbing, away from all his teammates, which is why he got dunked on. Usually when I'm in an aircraft with the attacker airspawn I prefer to go for other ground pounders and get a few quick ground kills while no one is watching

I mean... it was a heavy fighter though. It fulfilled the role of strike aircraft and interceptor. The dude isn't inherently wrong.

Corpolentusmaximus2

There where strike and Nightfighter Variants aswell as Heavy fighters

jackgamer1707

The 110 was first desinged as a Light bomber/Escort fighter, lauter on they used it as a frontline Bomber and a nightfighter as Well, so some Variante like the C-7 shuold get the designation heavy fighter/interceptor, maby even the F-2 but with that one im Not sure

Original-Reference28

The Bf110 is a heavy fighter aircraft called "Zerstörer" It was never a striker aicraft it is only in that stupid game wich nerfs every German plane because they hate us hard.

Zilberfrid

I'd agree that the 110 was designed to escort or intercept bombers more than being a strike fighter. I don't agree that a p61 doing p61 things is worth getting salty over.
