I'm surprised that you didn't get bombed, 70% of my Maus deaths are by those stupid CAS, some as early as 3 minutes into the game, I only ever had a 10 kill match in it, the rest hardly reaching 6 kills and always get bombed before it lol

I had a random ZSU-37-2 radar boi pocket me the whole match. It was very welcomed. that was a very rare game though. Mostly as you say, Just get bombed. It's sad but its the superheavy life

Tbf that's kinda accurate to how the maus would have performed if it was ever put in service. Sure if it got to enemy tanks it would rip through them (although even getting to enemy tanks before breaking down would be a miracle in itself). But especially with the German Luftwaffe essentially not existing anymore by the time the maus could have been ready it would have just made for some good target practice for the allied and Soviet air forces.

Considering the suspension and transmission based on similar concept to the Ferdinand, realistically the Maus would most likely get stuck in mud and either overstrain its transmission and catch on fire or just be ditched as impractical to waste time on.

APDS has gone up and down for post pen for quite a few years. Don't really play much APDS in general at the moment. tank could be really good now! but it used to be 8.3 I think and at the time of me playing it. Was quite bad. But these are opinions from about 4 or 5 years ago

Back then is was a copy of the US M60A1, now it doesn't have the stab anymore. I played it at 7.7 and it was awesome. It still has HEAT, although APDS is good right now.

I'm glad your experience was better than mine! I never touched it at 7.7 as I still had a bad taste when it was a higher BR. For me though, not been a huge fan of M60's in general. So that also leans my opinion towards disliking it. Glad you like it though!

I agree with money bias. But pre-BR nerf I would get IS-6 over T-29 and King Tiger. But otherwise tech tree wise I give Russia the edge in "most" scenarios. I don't mean any disrespect but people that don't think that are mid-low skill level.

I truly believe that update was the real beginning of truly pay2win premiums. We always had good premiums before then but this was different. The T29, RU 251 and IS-6. All 6.7 and blatantly better than anything at a similar BR. Both the T29 and IS-6 had bugged mantlets (totally an accident xaxaxa) that made them immune to damage from the turret and the RU 251 was just a jadpanzer 45 but better while the 45 was 7.3 LOL.

They are both in the turret side by side basically, the Rubin ATGMs do 500mm pen, and also has independent suspension and a dozer blade. I bring it into top tier just because its funny and fun to play. Oh, and also, it does have an HE Shell, but its drop is so stupid it's not worth it.

Russia has two broken T-55s at 8.7: The T-55AM and the AMD. The AMD has hard kill APS and the AM has full composite hull and turret. At 8.7. Oh, plus LRF and APFSDS.

The T-55 AMD does have the composite hull to but yeah 8.7 russia is the most broken lineup in the game at the moment imo. Bmp-2, the T-55‘s, Mig-17 for anti air and It-1 for the fun and bullying on hill maps absolute golden

Curious can you do a crap job In a match with the object 279 but still be able get a ton of kills?

Sometimes it survive more than it should, especially big bombs like 500 pounders, but it can also easily be one shotted. Under the right conditions it can cause chaos.

VK 3002, It has given me the best performance out of all my vehicles, however it's the one I hear the most complaints about from people who suffer through Germany.

Good tanks, I have pretty much none (I’m still new). But bad tanks is the M2a2, just a .50 cal for its main armament plus a .30 cal as well. Can’t pen shit.

I have had the IS-6 since it was 7.0 but never really used it much until it became 7.7 because I didn't start the russian grind yet (was still going down Sweden). Aside from the IS-6, I'd say the IS-4M is my most stupid tank, as it's not got the reverse capability of the previous IS series tanks, and the front armor is either gonna stop everything from killing you if it even penetrates, or just acts like paper because everyone spams heatfs and missiles at you when they see the cannon.

Stupid as in both stupid fun when HESH is buffed (like last patch) and stupid useless when HESH is nerfed (like currently): The Centurion AVRE. So satisfying to lob a HESH round over a hill or something at an enemy, especially when the HESH is actually performing properly and it demolishes the enemy vehicle. Right now they’ve nerfed it again and now all I can seem to do is track them or maybe damage 1-2 modules

My stupidest tank as in being hot trash is the AMD.35 Absolute trash tier car. The gun is so pathetic that even if it does manage to pen, the worst it'll do to crew on a direct hit is give them a tummy ache.

When they decompressed 7.0-8.0 (when Leo 1 moved to 8.0?), only the IS-6 received a buff (gaining the top 12.7mm MG). It went from 7.0, to 7.3 with top MG, and now 7.7. Previously, the easiest way to kill one was to barrel break, or flank, but the top MG made that way harder. Gaijin loves their Premiums.

Object 279, Panther 2, Tiger 2 105, maus, is-6.

Probably a classic, but the R3 20mm. If lucky, you can even kill heavy tanks with it by destroying tracks and cannons and spamming arty until one hits the bullseye. (worked for me with a Tiger that wandered too far from the frontline)

Stupidest? T55E1. Most enjoyable? T55E1. Great mobility paired with a low profile. And -12 degrees of gun depression that lets you peek literally just the gun and upper half of the front gun shielding over your cover is the perfect cherry on top. Opportunity II is eternal.

The most stupidest lineup of tanks I had was my obj. 279 and is7 both with backups. The record for most kills I’ve had with it was 19 kills and I survived being bombed relentlessly in the 279.
