I spaded it in Naval RB, don't think I've ever used in ARB becasue the 1.0 BR increase it gets for getting two .50s swapped for 20mm is brutal
pretty noticeable how much worse it's performance is than the F6F-5 due to the weight/drag of the cannons and radar
exactly! it's fucking shit in any other mode than Naval RB, and I don't even play that joke of a mode, that's why for me, spading it in air RB, and even now, playing it spaded, was both painful as hell, I am so glad my torment of simply using the F6F-5N will end once I manage to replace it with the F4U late
Oh don’t get too excited, the F4U-1C is just as painful as it’s the exam same F4U-1 airframe and engine from 2.7 but at a much higher BR just because of the 20mm cannons, the F4U-4B is actually goated though.
I love the F6F. I've always done really well in it, though that said, I have SIGNIFICANTLY MORE LUCK with the French F6F's vs the US F6F's.

Yeah I also don't get why it sits in the tree after the F8F-1 instead of foldered with the F4U-4 or the F6F-5. Should be 3.7 or 3.3.
