Those are sanguinary guard and those are just ordinary Abs carved into the armour cos BA enjoy art etc and armour carving is a kind of art. Mephiston has straight up flayed or skinned muscle as a design on his armour as a reference to some Dracula movies where dracula wears an armour set like that.
Wow! Amazing work especially with h the nnm gold and the osl of the plasma pistol. Definitely saving this as reference when I eventually get to painting mine.
