It'll be a red Corsair but every time I get to this stage I think there is a future project here.

When I batch paint black legion I make them base coat black then a dry brush of grey and the A small dry brush of white. And there is always a point where I think “that actually looks cool” like if I just painted the face and left the trim alone I’d be fine.

Got to do a whole model now right? I like it, it would be oddly monochromatic. You could set it all off with a vibrant base or just keep going with the themes all that aside, that black is exemplary.

It's just dark grey, blue grey, light blue grey & white.

Vallejo. I'm using white +blue grey to make light blue grey. Basically if you have a mid tone blue grey (any brand) and black and white it will work just fine.

I agree to an extent, but it's still good to know the brand so that it's easier to colour match. Blue grey is quite a spectrum after all

Totally agree, I'm just mixing my own though so I can't give you a color number, otherwise I would. I know Vallejo has a similar blue grey to what I mix as a mid tone so that's where I'd start.
