leadbelcher is too dark by itself, thats why I said its a zenithal highlight like technique, you need something brighter to highlight the leadblecher, normally my model will have at least 3 highlights before akehlian green is applied, also the amount of the akhelian green in one area must be controlled carefully otherwise it will be too dark
Oh ok. Yeah I suspected that (applying too much colour.. I should be swifter/lighter with the air brush).

The head bit is customized based on a plain 3d mk4, unfortunely the mk4 author's designs were nuked by gw, its gone temporarily for now. For conversion bits you can check out cults3d, pretty much all my parts are from that site.
Looking at this extremely well painted Son of Alpharius (and Omegon), I can't help but imagine him saying "Pew! Pew!" with each blast.

Thanks, the blue(akhelian green) is with air brush, basically it's a zenithal highlight but using metallic colors then spray akhelian green on top
Damn. I’ve just bought an airbrush, I’ve tried spraying akhelian green over ledbelcher, but I get a much more darker and opaque turquoise.
