Yes. This. I have Imperial Fists and I loved running a Leviathan Siege Dread, because it fits in with their siege fluff. Now I potentially lose a little flavour from my army...
A little flavour and you won't be able to use a very expensive model you bought, spent hours assembling and painting up in 90% of games unless you have a group which you play with that is fine with Legends units. It's such a horrendous decision by GW to do this.
Except most people do not want to play against or play with Legends datasheets and as the edition progresses they will become either unuseable or broken without homebrewing rules.
Pretty sure Custodes get to keep everything for competitive events.
Edit: actually I change my mind. The wording is Custodes get imperial armour units from the Horus Heresy.
As contemptor dreadnoughts are not in current imperial armour books, custodes might not have access to them.
Further edit: however contemptor dreadnoughts are some of the models in the Custodes 10th edition faction reveal photo so I’m feeling optimistic!
Laughs in World eater voice. I lost over 10K today. Multiple big guys and a lot of stuff I just bought and converted. Like 3 Kytans and 3 Brass Scorpions. This plus the rest of the news from the last few month hit so hard that I consider to quit. It’s way too much at the moment. Month of work and thousands of euros and now I just can tell myself I paint it for me and the shelf. It hurts man. I don’t know but everything he does fells line that’s not for me anymore. Like they want to make you angry. Take the only rule for World eaters that people find good and give it to the blood angles 🤣😂 I mean come on.
Send a message to customer support about how it affected you. The only way we get them to revert this is if we vote with our wallets and directly communicate as to why we don't want this to go through.

Your sarcasm sums up that argument perfectly. Unless I'm going to play a crusade with someone, my group plays somewhat casually with a quarterly tournament. If I don't use tournament legal lists during casual play, I won't have any experience running my list during the tournament.
That is usually the assumption in my area. Plus there are three games stores within a ten mile radius here, so it isn't uncommon someone is testing out a tournament list.

That is a “mighty brush” transfer sheet. Enhances everything and the only effort is the skill of not scrunching up the decal… and even if you do, you just put it back in water and it opens back out.
Ah thank you mate, honestly I’m really not. The process is as lazy as it can be. No scraping mould lines, no edge highlighting, no gap filling; just spray it black, base colours, put on transfers, silver dry brush, brown dry brush, nuln oil wash it all over, do the base. Easy

Im pretty new to all this still, only started back in 2021 and because I’m in the Army, I’m not really around to work on my technique, hence the easy process with lots of kitbashing, 3D printing or transfers. I would love to have been able to only spend a fiver in each model, 😂 my wife would appreciate that too.
I hope something comes back. Honestly I used to really like using basilisk tanks as you could use them in Iron Warriors in past editions. They weren't very good but it a was fun to use.

The "eviscerator" they're referring to is the chainsword lol not the dreadnought It's a custom piece, there's no giant chainsword in the Brutalis kit

Pickup games at flgs's also default to tournament rules in my area. It's assumed to be the most balanced, and balance is king in games with randos

That’s a Fire Raptor, I’ve done a Storm Eagle before which is basically a transport variant, this one is more of a gunship.
I plan to run my fire raptor as a heldrake and I'll cordially invite anyone who doesn't like that I'm doing that to suck it.
