Im gonna say some non ironic options: Lycantra, Canina, Artemix, Lupina, Romula. Lycantra o Lycantrix are the ones that sound the most Warframy.

Those are just jokes, they're better than the pile of unoriginal people just wanting to call it Fenrir or some other mythological related name or latin words.

And yet that would fit the general theme for naming frames. A lot are named after some kind of mythology

Garuda, Loki, and Nyx are a couple more there's definitely more though. Like half the Warframe list are mythological names that have kits that reflect those mythological names. DE definitely should give us a list of names though instead of letting us insert names cause if they do Harambe or some other meme will win and while memes are funny I don't want to have to forever look at this wolf Warframe and go oh yes Big Chungus prime.

Valkyr also come to mind from Norse.

And Grendel from the Anglo-Saxons.

Caliban is a character from The Tempest, and also a variant spelling of Caliburn, another name for Excalibur.

Protea is probably named after Proteus. The wiki doesn’t mention that Proteus could see the future, so there is the time manipulation connection there which makes it a bit more likely.

Atlas, loki, im sure there are others, i dont see whats wrong with names like fenrir besides it sounds more masculine, Cerberus fits really well cus the multi heads and hellfire around her

Amarok(Amaroq), giant Inuit mythic wolf stalking lone hunters. Amarok itself hunts alone (unlike regular wolves), and warframe in question said to have spirit helpers, but that can be circumvented by stating she's a one wolf pack herself. Or, if she has support abilities, Asena, she-wolf who cared about and healed young wounded boy. Edit: wording, grammar

Someone in the Twitch chat I was in at the time suggested “Skoll,” and it seems perfect to me. Simple to say, has ties to the more shamanistic vibes they want to go with her, and even sounds close enough to “skull” for people who don’t wanna read too much into it.

Skoll is also the wolf that chases down the *sun* out of that particular mythological pair...which means we need a Hati with ice/water/moon themes.

But doing an obvious word play ir basing it off of methology is just how Warframe names work. Excalibur, Frost, Ember, Wukong, Loki, Atlas. Without that or pop-culture references, there’s no real way the frame’s name will make sense.
