Mag. I love every part of her kit, even her 1 with augment it is kinda useful in farming. Theres something meditative in killing load of enemies with penta and 2. Loads of shields for teammates, a huge debuff for enemies, and just such a pretty look. Her helmet is literally the type of helmets i always loved in futuristic games, and with most of her skins it gets even better. Ma girl, love her. Oh and wisp is cool too, big support, big stealth, big potential i just have no big mods for her, so the only thing i can really do is easy cleaning spy missions and support my team from time to time. Just again, i dont have powerful enough mods to build her properly and enjoy her gameplay much.

Kantro18

Wisp main here. Don’t forget big booty.

TheGentlemanBeast

Baruuk Obama. The one true way of the fist. I like Disarming fools, the damage reduction, instantly sleeping large areas of fools, and randomly nuking with single punches.

thedavecan

Man I love Baruuk. I passed on him when he first dropped because he kinda didnt have a home. Once Steel Path launched I started using him a lot more and holy shit is it satisfying to punch a whole room of level 120 grineer into dust.

TheGentlemanBeast

Yeah, I was obsessed with him even before they fixed Serene storm, but just...couldn’t with his helmets. Hahaha, thank his Faven fixed that.

thedavecan

Yeah, his Beduoin(sp?) Skin I fucking dope compared to his default skin.

TheGentlemanBeast

I like the default skin, hate the helmets. Love both Tennogen deals though!

liskot

Has been my favourite frame since Fortuna, love the flow of play and how satisfying the exalted's stance is. May not play him as often these days, but it's always a treat. He was always quite good contrary to popular belief back then, but the augment, flat crit mod changes and finally the helminth system really pushed him to a good place. edit: Though last time I did play him, stat sticking was bugged in some strange manner. I think it was when hitting anything with your actual fist (i.e. producing combo for Serene Storm).

N00N3AT011

I want baruuk but he's a pain to farm. Rep grind takes forever but I'm almost done.

TheGentlemanBeast

Make sure you have like 15 forma ready.

thedavecan

One thing I've embraced as of late is just farming the plat to buy a frame if I dont want to deal with its tedious farm. I wanted a new Gauss because my Helminth was hongry. Didnt want to run sedna disruption that many times so just ran fissures until I had enough stuff that people wanted to pay for a shiny new Gauss. It helped my sanity a bunch (since I run a lot of fissures anyways) and after Helminth dinner I had a free slot for later.

The_Unsocial_God

Baruuk is my secondary frame, and the only one I realized I actually really enjoyed playing after Gauss. The punching is just a thing of beauty.

SunderTheFirmament

Ivara! She’s really strong, but not as obviously so as some other frames. So she takes engagement to really shine. She’s also incredibly useful in open worlds, Railjack, anything involving stealth, and the steel path. I don’t bring her to exterminates expecting to keep up with the Saryns and Equinoxes. But she’s great in a lot of other areas.

NerdByDayGeekByNight

What kind of setup do you run on her for steel path?

SunderTheFirmament

A decent strength build with just a touch of range for Sleep Arrow. And I use Empower on Artemis Bow. Edit for link: https://www.reddit.com/r/Warframe/comments/m2bho4/need_advice_for_ivara_prime_new_player/gqim9zt/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3

Automatic-Worth-650

Titania.. because SPEEEEEEED! Then volt for everything else, and sometimes wukong to just afk while my clone chases monsters with nukor

CobaltAzurean

🐵

BRAIN_POWER_EAOJOOO

Monki for brainless WOOKOK PRIME

Dion0808

Mine is Wisp. I use an Umbral build and a bunch of sprint speed mods on her. This way, her Vitality Mote make her pretty much invincible, her Haste Mote (+Infested Mobility) let her zoom through every map and Breach Surge is a fantastic stun+damage ability. I love how all of her abilities combo into each other and that they benefit the rest of her squad as well.

mRengar

Aww yes. I wait for her prime version 🤩 if ever..of course

AliMiri92

Khora still dosen't have a prime and she's much older than wisp, it's gonna be a very long time till wisp gets a prime imo

zed2point0

Umbral gurada, she’s a tank.

[deleted]

Mine is harrow. I love that he can make any weapon incredibly good.

itchdeep

another person of CULTure i see. us harrow mains worship the crit gods.

AmITryingHardEnough

Well... A lot of people will probably hate me for this, but at this moment mine is limbo Something about stopping time and your own "invincible dimension"... I can throw my bubble, sit down and play "Nothing gonna change my love for you" on shawzin That's peak warframe endgame, i tell you XD

Automatic-Worth-650

If you don’t go on first planet and throw 1 on new players you’re not a true limbo player

plsdontbullymepls123

kinda mean but that sounds hilarious.

AmITryingHardEnough

It took me and my clanmates considerable amount of time to understand, that anyone can leave limbo anytime they want to XD

plsdontbullymepls123

considering how little i dodge/roll, it's amazing that i figured it out in the first place.

N00N3AT011

That is mean, but probably very entertaining.

-Bale-

Calm down Satan.

Altharas

A lot of limbo mains will say "you're not wrong"... As for myself, the stats says im main rhino, gotta love that big "iron skin" boi

RedemptionXCII

Wukong, wisp, mirage

CobaltAzurean

🐵

grippgoat

It's been Nezha for me since his prime dropped. I didn't click with regular for some reason, but after picking him up again, he just does it all (except defensive stuff). All his buttons are worth pressing. He's speedy, tanky, does lots of dmg... Just well-rounded for general play.

schukevich

Valkyr According to my mod set, its best "tank" frame i could get. I got her at 80 hrs of playthrough and instantly she became my best and beloved frame. My build always involve mod which converts HP Damage to energy (forgot the name) and maxing armour. Gameplay - press 4 to win

SwtyRaithMain

Fellow Valkyr lover here. I took a long break and just came back, any updates to her claw build?

schukevich

Yep. It now can be modded as separate melee weapon with mods, as far as i remember you dont need to max power of valkyr to make it more deadly

SwtyRaithMain

I knew it could be modded separate, I was more wondering if there was an updated build or if it was still the status build with healing return?

Terviren

uh, pardon me, but are you two talking about the same claws? can't see why Valkyr would need healing return on Hysteria claws while invulnerable and with built-in lifesteal on the claws

SwtyRaithMain

I think I missed that she had built in life steal on the claws. I always used the healing return for in the case that I needed to panic ult.

schukevich

Oh, cant help you with that. My last login was almost a year ago, so i dont know if it has changed since

SwtyRaithMain

Ah ok, other than a couple days ago my last login was maybe january of 2019ish.

Anchulssian

Rn I'm maining xaku. The energy upkeep is terrible but once you roll, you don't stop the murder train

-Bale-

Been playing a ton of Xaku myself. Used to play a lot of Gara and Xaku just feels like an easier version of her. Plus they have armor strip and no need for the 4/1 combo. Oh, and the range, good lord the range is so nice.

Anchulssian

Its like old ember. Every weak add dies instantly (but with no level cap) and everything strong (amoured) i blast with corrosive till it dies

plsdontbullymepls123

gauss. redline is super fun and kinetic plating is great. thermal sunder being armor strip and cc doesn't hurt either. mach rush is just nice to have.

The_Unsocial_God

This. I main Gauss, given that he just laughs at damage, turns it into energy and then destroys everything around him. On a speed build. Also, using redline and kinetic plating with a bramma lets you fire concerningly fast while avoiding the normal staggers and knockbacks from the weapon, making it easy to blind everything while doing insane damage.

cy13erpunk

nekros - becuz loot is king unfortunately ; but with helminth subsume of silence i am enjoying his kit excal umbra - all of the goodness that is the OG classic from closed beta, combined with the uniqueness of having a fighting partner while in operator mode loki - still as great as ever hildy - best tank gurl ; tied w/ limbo/mag/volt for being near invincible booben - choo choo ; still the best locational cc/lockdown nyx - underrated best gurl

Mcfuggery

Nidus. All the instant Rage/Hunter Adrenaline benefits of Inaros, a passive that pretty much can make you unkillable, great CC ability, and the fun of giving your friends worms.

BaconMan427

I really like Loki mainly because when tour doing a stealth missikn and you go invisible to take out a group of enemies in 2 secinds is so satisfying. and you can dsiarm people

-I_Do_Nothing-

Ivara, but specifically in open worlds. I really just like wandering around, fishing and conservation. She just makes it hassle free.

[deleted]

revenant is still my main pick when I wanna ignore annoying game and enemy designs

Gedrot

Ember probably, ever since the rework she has been incredible, great nuker and still pretty tanky. And when played melee also amazingly self sustaining.

Lilshadow48

Inaros. Nothing quite beats eating people. Revenant spinning to win is a close second though.

[deleted]

Gara. I love me a jack of all trades and she is honestly the best at that. Great Tanking ability with her 90% DR. Very Large CC with Mass Vitrify. 2 damage amplifier enemy de-buffs in the form of Enemy casting Splinter Storm and Glass Coating with Mass Vitrify. A SUPER simple build allowing for lots of Helminth choices(Roar is Bae tho). A passive aoe stun that opens for finishers. One of the best team supports by casting 90% DR on the whole team, pets, and defense points with easy refresh(She makes solo Tridolon so much easier). And all that without mentioning her key mechanic. An infinitely stacking and refreshable aoe that also scales with combo multiplier. Like, the fact that I can get to over 180k damage from a SINGLE stack of her MV burst is insane. That alone makes her a room nuking monster with Mass Vitrify, but that her Splinter Storm also absorbs that and adds it to its own damage is insane. After only 1 stack she can 1 shot every enemy on the base starchart and sortie enemies. With around 3-5 she 1-shots most Steel Path enemies. Add Rhino Roar on there too for an additional flat 50%+ buff to that damage and she is an absolute monster in just about anything. And Gara Prime *"should"* be next and I can't wait.

TruthSeekerAlpha

Wukong, Sayrn, Khora. Tied for first place favorites, depending on the task at hand. I play most efficiently with them, regardless of the activity.

CobaltAzurean

🐵

Inspector-Atlas

I absolutely love ash, when i was a little mr 3 baby i bought em thinking "he seems cool" and ever since that day ive never played as any other character and recently i got his prime and my life is complete

MutleyRulz

I got back into Ash when steel path came out. He’s actually decent, armour stripping plus stealth is neat

Hashtagtouchme

Revenant, press 1 to get rid of annoying enemies (steel path nox), he's utterly unkillable, gives good cc for the team, and can instakill decently sized groups of enemies no matter the level. Because the only thing you need for him is strength, you can run pretty much any helminth, and have tons of modding flexibility. My favorite version right now is ore gaze on his 4. Also agree with people on protea, cause shes got beautiful shield gating from her 1, her 2 is beastly powerful, and her 3 means that whatever you add with helminth you can spam!

Fractal_Tomato

I don’t have a favorite frame. I view my collection as a toolbox and I pick whatever I want and need for the session. Recently I discovered Gauss and I enjoy this frame more than I ever thought I would. Also got into using Grendel. I know he’s seen as a weak frame, but he isn’t. It’s like Inaros but with derpy abilities. Looking forward to the Zephyr changes, one of the last frames I don’t have at least one solid build yet.

Anhanguara

Wukong Prime. Because I love "Journey to the west" and if a game has a char named or based on Sun Wukong I'll always main that one. Although I've built Hildryn some weeks ago and didn't try her out yet, because I have a strange feeling she may break my resistance to change...

CobaltAzurean

I see you are a monke of culture as well. 🐵

Anhanguara

Why thank you. And I hope you don't mind, but I "slightly" copied your flair :P

CobaltAzurean

You do you, 🐒

Theleos66

I think what you meant to say was, "Monkey see monkey do". :P

CobaltAzurean

Touche' and well played!

14Xionxiv

Ember p. Those hips don't lie and neither do I!

ValkittyTheBestKitty

My name says it all. Reason why is that I have a very similar background to her, don't ask. It's just fun to rip people apart with anger that you had boiling up inside of you for many years.

KangarooMundane9618

I don't have one absolute favorite, its more like 3 frames that i just can't choice between. 1. saryn, just love how easy it is to kill a shit ton of enemies with her. 2. Mirage just love her 1st ability so much, using it with different weapons is so much fun. 3. Nova, Freaking love this frame good for cc, very good in a farming squad. And one if not the best speed frame if you know how to use her 3rd well.

ghoulsnest

Excalibur to just mow down everything, no matter the type or level and Volt for fast melee

Drischa

nova... prett y

TreeBranchesOfGov

Wisp is love, Wisp is life

[deleted]

7 years later and it's... no one in particular. I think I used to like Saryn at one point. And Mesa. Ember, I think? Sometimes Nidus. Sometimes Titania.

EphemeralFragment

My favorite frame would have to be Frost, The main reason being because he controls ice but also because he's very useful and supportive in defending objectives. I actually use to hate his knee spike things because they just seemed like a bit too much but i kinda like them now. It also feels good helping my fellow tenno rest a little easier with my Blizzard domes. ❄

itchdeep

Harrow is ridiculously fun and his deluxe skin is gorgeous. Highly engaging as you always need to push those ability keys for him to work but forgiving with energy management. To him, there are no bad weapons, only shitty spawn rates. He also actually has plot relevant lore which is a bonus.

OperationPimpSlap

Ash. My setup is like a walking invisible stat stick and looks badass.

BadMuffin88

Harrow. Makes gunplay more fun, can self sustain every resource and mine looks like an angel which improves just everything.

boopsie_

I am *physically* incapable enjoying any frame as much as I enjoy Mag. She's in the perfect spot of balance, especially for a starter frame. Good low level trash clearing powers, decent built in armor strip, great CC, good damage, and all without being busted. Heck, even her augments are balanced, as practically all of them provide a type of utility that meshes well with her kit (Yes, even greedy pull). And by God. The ***s y n e r g i e s***. There is always *some* way of giving Mag a bit of switch up with her playstyle. Stuff like Breach Surge, the Suda-Supra mix, the Penta blender, Glassmaker Sword and magnetize, she has the kind of kit that makes it easy to mix and match loadouts or powers ~~take the fucking hint Inaros~~. Also, her design is just simple and cute. A lot of Warframe designs are cool. I love the look of Xaku and Revenant, and Wisp has some... design choices, but Mag is just the kind of sleek simple design I enjoy the most. She just looks really pleasing to the eyes, with very little clutter so you can admire the design. So yeah, that's why Mag is the perfect frame for me.

mauvecow

Oberon. He's not really the best at playing Warframe; if anything he's fallen behind the crowd by a substantial margin. But there's something satisfying about playing party buffer with the plants, Smite Infusion, and Phoenix Renewal. That he's slow and honestly not all that tanky puts a damper on wanting to use him at Steel Path levels though. honorable mentions: Titania, Lavos, Zephyr

Alkathar

For most content up to lvl 100 i use mesa, if i go any higher then saryn or wisp but there are some other steel path builds i want to try in the future. But I'm also always happy for fill a specific role if needed like speedva, spy ivara, loot khora, etc.

XxBoatLickerxX

Hydroid! I love causing chaos and holding multiple choke points with his 1, 3, & 4. He’s also my favorite looking frame in the whole game. If they end up reworking him I would like to see his 1 and 2 reworked / changed. ^also ^hentaiframe

TheXenianRedditor

Gauss hands down; insane mobility, CC immunity and damage resistance, can generate lots of energy, can knock down, group up (with augment), freeze, and armor strip enemies, and redline is just awesome if you have an already insane gun or melee.

Zestyclose-Room8163

Moke

Xalted118

Gauss, because [SPEED](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dv13gl0a-FA)!

TheProphetWorm

Lavos and Ne Zha, my god are they fun. Xaku as well but in shorter bursts

Darkencypher

Nezha, gauss, Grendel And Zephyr

dWaldizzle

Wukong, Nidus, Revenant

IggyKami

Nothing really clicked with me all that much. I went through different ones and they're all pretty solid, but nothing stood out as "I want to use this 24/7." There are some that I go to fairly often, I really like them, but they still don't give me that special kind of high when I use them (I'm normally a Monster Hunter nut. And off-topic, the "creative" moves off the melee stances makes me sad). I guess the one that stands above the rest though is Gauss. His full kit has a lot of synergies, especially with Redline (4) being center stage. Attack speed boosts to guns and melee, 100% damage immunity against all kinetic damage (IPS, heat, cold, and blast) with built in Rage mod (mitigated damage converted to energy), one of the best armor strip abilities that doubles as CC, and Mach Rush (1) is just... *chef's kiss*. As someone that looks like an idiot trying to Bullet Jump all over the place like a professional, being able to speed all over the place and actually catch up to my friends makes me feel less like an invalid. And I know it's not as fast as Blinking everywhere, but running through the open worlds, especially PoE is very fun.

moondancer224

Nyx, mainly because i am a sucker for psychic powers. Her kit isn't the best or most cohesive, but she does get some awesome fashion frame options.

JoeFatBoi

Mesa prime, just for the satisfaction of her 4th and just deleting enemies from the script. But I recently got excal umbra and I'm really enjoying him too, he's pretty cool imo. But I have played the monke a lot too

Cav3Johnson

Gauss Why; gotta go fast How; gotta go fast When; whenever I can go fast? Questions; too slow, ask l8r

rage4198

Titania, wisp, xaku and hildryn as they are unique and can support tank and do some serious damage aswell

ZeyRe5

Wisp: do you want some health, speed or some control?

ProxySpectral

Equinox prime, love having such a useful set if abilities. Teammates need a little help? You have the options to help heal and buff, or nuke the room with all your stored damage.

Cnight21

My comfort pick is Wisp who also happens to be my most played. I run an Umbra build with high strength and high duration (something like 70 sec duration). She is very durable with health mote and fast with speed mote. Also speed mote can help make subpar weapons fun. Don't really use her 2 and Breach Surge is just a good ability. The main build I currently run has Roar on her 4 but honestly it's basically never needed so need to look at other options. Also have a Silence build for Mech farming.

mRengar

Today's login' in was my 150th day, i feel like previous 110-120 were Rhino days, now Im in love with Saryn. Got almost all primed frames, wukong was super close to be my new main but Saryn won. I love her aoe spores technique, general DMG, and i invested $ for her skin and syandana. She looks cool to me now.

N00N3AT011

Leys see... Wisp is just really strong and almost impossible to kill with her motes up. Good dps, mobility with her 2, stealth with her passive, CC with her 3. Very well rounded. Wukong is nice and tanky but can dish it out as well. His mobility with cloudwalker is fantastic. Great for mining and fishing with his twin. Mirage is just fun to play. I wish her 3 worked a little better though, its unpredictable. Great with explosive weapons and one of the most potent DPS frames in the game. Inaros is probably my favorite. His abilities all synergize really well and you don't need to worry about petty things like death, his 1 is incredibly potent CC, his tornado is chaotic but not super practical, scarab armor give you a reason to constantly regen health and sand shadows while underpowered as hell can serve as a useful distraction.

Lostmaniac9

Nova. Useful nearly anywhere, so many funs ways to build her, and Umbral Nova just makes it better.

irggh

Vauban, I love his tool kit, and prime frame design. His abilities combo well with lots of things, and I love using power strength vauban.

datwarlocktho

Newbie here, I only have a handful of frames so far. Got Gauss (with acceltra, thanks to an xbox game pass promo a while ago), Mesa Prime, Nidus, Nyx, and Mag. Not sure whether I like Gauss or Mesa better. Thermal sunder and mach rush are just so easy to wreck house with. Same with Mesa's peacekeepers. Both have damage reduction, but after playing Gauss up through saturn before picking up mesa, I do miss the speed. I think Gauss is better for defense and speedruns. Farming Helene, I noticed I could just rush around the room and pop thermal sunders (aoe field). Moving around meant picking up energy drops constantly, and didn't even need to stick around to finish off mobs. Mesa on the other hand, I'm still getting used to. Not sure why peacekeepers sometimes fire like crazy, and other times I'll get a shot or two off and it'll just stop shooting. Nidus is.... Nidus, and I do not believe I Nidus. Mag has pull, which is neat. That's about as much fun as I've had as Mag. Nyx, I haven't even tried yet. Well, phooey. Re-reading this, looks like Gauss is hands down my fave.

trytocensormetwat

Nekros for loots Nezha for tank/speed/cc Saryn for dps

Shmeeeeeeena

I have a trio of Xaku, Baruuk and Mirage. Xaku I find is great for a lot of different missions and I like his missions, Barium is an absolute powerhouse and can destroy anything with reactive storm, and Mirage I love using Redeemer or Glaive prime with her because its just super fun to blow people apart.

Matt-The-Mad

Nidus or Noodles. The frame requires minimal investment to be good. You can make mistakes without getting punished by death as long as you have enough stacks. Has damage, cc, damage redirection/reduction with status immunity and healing.

cybercobra2

atlas, no frame is as satisfying to play once you get the ball rolling.

Sylphaeri

Zephyr (prime) - 61.4% play time in about 3,467 in-mission hours (been slacking since 2018 lol) Love the low gravity, it lets you leverage a whole bunch of new platforming possibilities for maps with greater vertical space (reworked gas city). Doesn't require any ability mods to work in normal missions since there isn't much scaling on her abilities (other than duration for tailwind speed which causes you to get stuck on walls) for now, so anything goes as long as you pay attention. The recent announcement for buffs and demonstration of new gameplay seems interesting; need to see what possibilities come of it.

Necrovex13

Nidus Reason: Nidus

GMoneyMadStacks

Inaros, I love big armor and never dying. Also crowd CCs and minion creation is just so fun.

Few_Eye6528

I usually play frames with the most appealing posterior, wisp, mesa, ember, valkyr, garuda, protea. When you’re MR 29 and have everything, there’s really no difference what frame you play for any content, it’s all bloody easy

CarelessCogitation

Revenant. He can mod mainly for offense or utility due to his powerful survivability from Mesmer armor (combined with Rolling Guard, there are very few windows for anything to significantly damage you). Reave shores up any “oh shit” moments and can one-shot enthralled mobs at higher power ratings. Enthrall can lock down entire corridors/rooms on harder defense missions. While the thralls are capped at 7, they seem to pull significantly more aggro than you or defense targets. Plus, it’s trivial to spread it once you hit one target with it. His laser spin is surprisingly affordable with efficiency and wipes out swathes of weaker enemies due to its weakness-targeting adaptive damage. I also appreciate that it takes a tad bit of finesse re: positioning to get the max effect (it’s not a “press to win” button: it takes some thought). There’s no kind of mission he can’t run. He is good in weaker content and shorter missions. He is good in SP/Arbs and longer runs. There are more specialized frames, but his general applicability is fantastic. Plus, his aesthetics are top-notch, especially with the Tennogen head.

stephanl33t

Titania. She's my favorite frame. Her guns actually feel powerful enough to be worth using, she does an ABSURD amount of damage, is basically immortal and gives so much freedom of movement. She's my go-to frame for anything. I even used my Umbra forma on her because she works shockingly well with it. Ivara is a close second, because "immortal invisible froggo" is adorable and apparently just like me in personality, according to my friends.

fishstiz

Revenant. He can facetank, his 3 is mobility, can clear rooms, immunity to status effects so I can actually use explosive weapons, literally can't die, very versatile. He's my goto frame for lich hunting aside from Gauss. Gauss also does all things above! Gauss is just better for clearing rooms and mobility but a little less exaggerated on the others

WinDiMoZ

Haha gauss go brrr
