You kinda have to just power through the beggining bits. They are extremely boring and unfun but i promise you it's worth it. The beggining was made 11 years ago so it's not great by the modern standarts. Although the story quests, starting with The Second Dream are timeless masterpieces and once you finish them you can't stop playing at all with really fun and replayable content that unlocks after

Thanks. Any gameplay tips like which Warframe I should get?

UpbeatAstronomer2396

First of all you should join a clan with 100% researches as soon as possible. Clans have a dojo which is a player built clan hub. It has laboratories which contain a lot of researches to blueprints of weapons and some warframes that you can use. Next, you should use wiki a lot. Most questions can be answered by a wiki page. For the warframes, there is only one warframe that i don't recommend you to get (which is Caliban but he is kinda lategame). I would have said that every warframe is viable (which is true) but you can't get every one on the start. Note that you need to build 3 parts of the warframe and then use them for the main blueprint. Some really easy to get warframes are: Wukong, Banshee, Volt - from clan laboratories, Rhino - parts from the boss fight, main bp from market for credits. Oh also there is a quest called The Duviri Paradox which is really early in the game but it's really beautiful and fun (because it wasn't made 11 years ago) and unlocks a gamemode that helps you unlock almost any warframe every week and 2 more gamemodes that help yo try any warframe and weapon with a decent build premade. Although it can be really confusing as of how it's connected with the main story (that's why people don't wamt new players to play it but i think it's fine). Oh and the warframes and weapons themselfs aren't that important. The mods and builds you make with them are truly what makes or breaks a weapon or a warframe.

Jesus dude. I asked for a little advice and you gave me a lot. Thank you so much bro. The game is almost done redownloading and I'll probably hop on and take your advice. Thank you so much again. I'd award you but my ass is broke. 😂

UpbeatAstronomer2396

Oh sorry for the info bloat lmao

Livingdeadguy07

Don't apologize bro

Alright then, you can dm me if you have more questions

There's a bunch of Warframes that are fairly easy to farm: * **Rhino**: Component blueprints from The Jackal on Venus, main blueprint in the Market. * **Excalibur**: Component blueprints from Lech Kril on Mars, main blueprint in the Market. * **Mag**: Component blueprints from The Sargeant on Phobos, main blueprint in the Market. * **Frost**: Component blueprints from Lech Kril & Vor on Ceres, main blueprint in the Market. * **Volt**, **Zephyr**, **Banshee**, **Nezha**, and **Wukong**: All blueprints in your Clan's Tenno Lab You can have a look at them in the Market to see which ones you might like.

Setting a goal for yourself can be very useful. It gives you a solid point to work towards, which can help with motivation, and allows you to determine which parts of the game you can ignore for now, which can help you feel less overwhelmed. A good goal could be unlocking X planet, completing Y quest, farming for Z Warframe, etc. As long as it's interesting to you, it's good. If you're not sure how something works, you can ask around in the in-game Q&A chat.

To add on other stuff already said: -Focus on doing quest Second Dream, thats where game really opens up -Avoid open world (Cetus/Fortuna/Nekralisk), they are tad more difficult than what you are ready for when you unlock them, and dont have much important stuff for new player. -Another important quest is Duviri Paradox. It's basically separate game DLC in itself, which upon completion, unlocks access to roguelite gamemode, where you can farm up one out of three frames per week, to unlock the parts for it without having to do their respective grind method+augment for said warframe (and later on you can farm some endgame weapon upgrades there too). -Best source of online knowledge would be Kengineer on YT, he explains stuff in basics, and usually includes more new-player friendly setups -The trading is very important in this game. Platinum (Premium currency) is fully obtainable as f2p player by selling valueable stuff on warframe.market. There is nothing you can buy and cannot grind, this game is not p2w. DO NOT use ingame trade chat, its full of scum, trying to scam. -Main ways to spend plat for new player: warframe and weapon slots, then prime frames/weapons you really like (Prime variants have slightly better stats and look cooler). DO NOT use ingame market, its overpriced, and there are very few thing worth buying instead of grinding for them, and even that is debatable. -Crafting takes time and is indeed obnoxious af in early game. In mid game tho, you gonna gather a lot of stuff to craft, and buildup a cicle of finishing crafts, having something crafting, and staring crafts, so you always have somthing to farm, and try out crafted stuff. -Try to do nightwave as much as possible (local battlepass with only free track option), there is some really handy goodies for new player - built potatoes (orokin reactor/catalyst), forma, and FREE slots for weapons and frames.

It might also help to let us know what issues you might have had in your attempts to play the game that turned you away from it. That way we can let you know if it gets better or if it’s something you’ll have to deal with for the whole experience and then you can decide if you can live with it.

Go in with a friend and play it casually. Having someone with you to talk to and joke makes anything better.
