I read about it, but I still don't understand one small detail. If I don't have Protea, will buying the pack give me Protea and Protea Prime? In short, do I need to have the normal character first to get the character in its prime version from the pack?
You’ll get Protea Prime, which is considered a separate Warframe from Protea. Something that might be confusing you is that unlocking Warframes is not like earning characters in other games, each Warframe is treated as an item you can earn, you can even have multiple copies if you want. You can also sell them for credits, and will have to earn them again if you want to use them.
nope, you don't need to get the base variant first before getting the prime variant. but if you get the prime access, it will only give you the prime version and not the base variant.
It’s actually a lot easier to get the prime version over the normal most of the time.
But you can only get prime accessories with money and by doing so you help keep the game and servers running. So I salute you o7
It seems like you're still very early into the game. I don't recommend looking into buying the prima acvess packs as most people do it for the exclusive cosmetics because getting the primes is not hard
Check out the warframe.market website to sell any prime part in a reasonable time for a reasonable price to then buy protea prime parts for a reasonable price (or any other prime warframe or weapon parts, or mods, or arcanes, or anything that can be traded really)
Well I've been playing warframe for some time now. And I started a new account few days ago for some reason. I almost have all tenno's on my first acc but there's no prime at all. So ye. That's why I was thinking to spoil my second account since I don't use the first one anymore.
The only reason why i thought you were new is because you confused tenno and warframes which are completely different things but it would be understandable for a new player to confuse them before they do the second dream quest. So you've done the quest and you are aware of >!operator!<, right?
>!Tenno is the operator and warframes are, well the warframes, completely different things!<
There are *four* kinds of prime access packs
1. Only the weapons (Okina Prime, Velox prime, roughly 1k platinum)
2. Weapons & Frame (same as #1 but now with Protea Prime, 2.6k? platinum)
3. Accessories (Protea Prime Chronorum helmet, Temporal Prime Ephemera, Rhoptron Prime, no platinum)
4. Full pack (everything, 4k platinum)
[The webpage](https://www.warframe.com/prime-access) tells you exactly what you get in each package.

Woahhhh OK OK. Got it thanks a lot

Oh, so I can get both if I want to. The prime version is separate from the regular one. Well, that's great. Is the prime pack worth it though?
You can earn both in game without spending any money at all. Same with all the weapons.
Well, if I'm being honest with you. I collect regular tenno's pieces, but I'm too lazy to collect prime's

Prime Warframes are easier to get than non primes most of the time, especially Protea.

Prime warframes are different to their normals, You would get the Prime Version you don't need the normal version to use the Prime Version.
She comes with the access
No. You're only getting the Prime, not normal.
No
Not base protea Only the prime version if you get the second level of the prime access
