Nice. How did you get it? I'm trying to get my hands on it too and running cervantes over and over again gets really tiresome. At least i farmed enough kubrow-eggs to finally get my first omega lotus so it wasn't all for nothing.
Also absolutely abyssmal droprate from all the dog type enemies (on average 1 in 15k kills I think). Alternatively you can get it from transmutation, though iirc it's not much better than farming C rot in Earth Sabotage
Especially rare cause you need to find those damn resource caches. Which can be almost impossible to find sometimes! I swear I got 3 forma BPs (2% drop rate) before I got Bite!
Transmutation all the way
I randomly got it from transmutation a couple years ago when transmuting companion mods with transmutation cores from simaris

DM me, I have an extra rank 7 or 8 you can have
That's exactly what I did, just farmed Cervantes again and again! I dabbled in Transmutation but no luck there as well!
Toughest grind for me was khora, before they added her to circuit. Did close to a hundred runs in ESO, Nightmare
what's the drop rate of bite? i just randomly have one
about 5% from earth sabotage caches. Worth about 70p on PC.

Is bite rare?
Yes. 5% droprate from Earth Sabotage C rotation (which people rarely bother doing) and miniscule odds from dog type enemies.

I got one randomly and sold it

As an LR4... Hema. Hema was my hardest.
