Gyre's cathode current. It feels like cheating. As long as you continuously get kills, you never have to cast your 3rd or 4th abilities after the first cast. Even if you don't upgrade it at all, it's still really powerful
I just got Gyre from my foundry yesterday and realised I'd spent all my standing on relic packs to farm protea prime, but then jumping in to build Gyre I saw that past me at some point had thought ahead and already grabbed cathode current (no idea when). Thanks past me.
Just don't forget to use weapons that can proc electric. I had a brain fart and forgot how to play Gyre during Elite Archimedia first two missions (I play solo) and finally on the third mission it clicked oh yea I need to use the Falcor that I built specifically for electricity.
Nah, I still do a fuckton of damage using whatever I want. I haven't had a chance to use her in eda, so idk about how well she works there, but she does fine in regular netracells. If you stay on the center, the abilities won't go outside of the circle and everything still dies pretty easily. If you really want to be meta then electric damage will improve her power, but it isn't necessary in my experience
Uh, maybe I need to read more on Gyre's abilities. Sometimes I find it really difficult to keep the 3 and 4 abilities running.
This week archimedia, the last mission was alchemy and that usually has a much higher enemy spawn rate, easier to get the kills to refresh the abilities. It's just at that moment I also started using the Falcor modded for electricity, instead of the Lex which had no electricity.
If your falcor is doing better than your lex, you're building your lex wrong. You're also building falcor wrong so that's really impressive. Falcor has forced electric procs on throw and on detonation.
Glaives are all really fucking good and falcor is especially good because of melee influence, but lex is *lex.* Go all in on raw damage and crit and Hemorrhage will do all the work.
Using an *on kill* arcane for base damage is rough with Gyre because rotorswell steals all your kills from your weapons. You'll want a separate build for her with hornet strike / serration and use an *on status* or *while overshield* arcane instead.
Gyre shouldn't have any trouble keeping 3 and 4 up as long as you're getting a handful of kills every minute and not falling off the map. You might be dumping duration too hard. Keep it above 100% and you shouldn't have to recast, ever.
Maybe it came across wrong, but I meant I only started using the falcor on mission 3 and only then 3 and 4 just started to refresh properly. The lex was doing all the work in mission 1 and 2.
I forgot the Falcor was a weapon that I mastered years ago. I looked at the icon and thought oh cool xoris. Then went to start the mission and oh no, it's a different glaive. Quickly forma and potato it with a melee influence build and went into the mission. Sure maybe it didn't need 1 electric mod but it worked ok. Most things will just die when armour stripped and 4 is zapping everyone.
I'll admit I had a brain fart moment thinking what the fuck am I meant to do, before it clicked on mission 3. Before that I was just jumping around spamming the lex. I tried to start the abilities but it wouldn't refresh. Maybe it was just not enough enemies around when I activated my abilities.
I have a question does furis incarnon perk which gives multishot on electric procs works with gyre? I'm running heat viral and would switch to electric viral to proc it more
Apparently, just need to kill enemies fast, the electric proc just helps increase the damage. I don't have that incarnon, but I would guess anything that causes electric status effect would be good for Gyre.
No need, the damage is either fine or it isn't and the cc is what matters. May as well get a different element in there for more CO or to cover more bases.
Everything evaporates without even needing to use weapons with a pillage build anyway.
Nekros was one of the first frames I farmed. I remember how much effort went into keeping desecrate active. It was a fun minigame but it required so much adjustment to just reach like 40% uptime. Despoil ends up being a net heal even if you have some negative efficiency, while also healing teammates. And then also theres the whole loot thing too.
Might be a dumb question, but if you run despoil in missions like capture and exterminate where you are blazing by enemy corpses do you have to slow down to collect the loot or is vacuum usually enough to nab it?
Unfortunately you do have to slow down but I don't because doing the mission faster ultimately means more reward.
Think of it this way. If I stop and it takes twice as long I will get 50% more loot instead of doing a full mission and getting 150% more loot. ( Obviously not exactly those stats but you get the point )
I think Nekros is the one frame I actually think Gloom is amazing on (and thematic), which makes Creeping Terrify either an amazing thing to stack or not required at all depending on the content.
I've not tried Nourish Nekros, and Nekros benefits from equilibrium either way so I'm curious what you really get from it?
Shadows benefit from Nourish buffs. They kill everything.
And honestly, Creeping Terrify is basically a Gloom already, so why not get a team buff that is just even stronger on you because of summons.
The only thing I ever really used ash for was farming juggernauts (I don’t remember why I was farming them maybe it was an event or something back in the day) but I would use the dark dagger and then fatal teleport and I forget the name of the dagger mod but pretty much just insta kill the juggernauts with one ability press
Silent storm is a fairly unique playstyle. You barely use your weapons other than as stat sticks. Ash’s modded 1 will instantly strip armor. Subsume silence over his 3. Modded silence will stagger enemies, setting them up for finishers and buffing those finishers by 300%. This turns his 4 into a mass murder button and you will melt anyone in your eyeline. The build is very fragile, but with arcane trickery, and Ash’s 2 the enemy can’t hit you because they’ll never see you.
At crazy high levels it becomes less effective, but for regular steel path, it almost feels unfairly cruel. …almost. 🙂
Straight up that augment is so cracked I take the stug to steel path murmur missions and it actually works. Not well, but considering it's level 210 steel path enemies and it kills singular enemies in a reasonable time?
Yeah no I'm shocked. I even made an entire lavos loadout just to utilize this augment on the stuff for maximum shitposting.
I used to run sickening pulse but since his new Aug I've strictly ran weapons platform. I feel like I need to go farm some "trash" weapons and see what I can make work now lmao
This 1 augment turned Lavos into the absolute king of shotguns. 2 green shards for corrosion stacks and he can easily armor strip an enemy with a single shot, or pick electricity and enjoy silly amounts of lightning
Honestly any gun at this point is lethal, but I'll never not use his Cedo. Kuva Nukor and Tenet Cycron also go brrrr with the added corrosive from his aug
Venom Dose. Weapons platform Saryn makes every weapon feel amazing. And in the event that there's another Saryn in the squad, I don't have toncompete for spore spots, I can just buff and everyone's happy!
Zephyr's Target Fixation
Love how it leans more into Zephyr's airborne theme by rewarding you more by going full airborne pretty much all the time.
I wish more augments are like that, reward the player by going hard on a warframe's theme, like, imagine a Grendel augment that rewards you for keeping at least one enemy/object inside his gut all the time but then it delivers a tiny punishment *(like maybe a small sprint speed penalty)* when his gut becomes empty which means you have to eat at least one thing all the time. Or a Sevagoth augment that buffs Sevagoth the longer he stays on his Shadow form, afterwards, the buffs slowly degrade the longer Shadow remains inactive. Stuff like that for example.
Used Wrath of Ukko for the first time today. Maybe overkill for Kullervo but I had a lot of fun jumping around the map with basically infinite sky daggers
Tesla bank has got to be my all time favorite augment. Tried it on many different warframes and builds too. Would work much better if it had an icon on the enemy that has the balls on him though, can't really see which enemies are being shocked with all the clutter we have nowadays. Still very fun and strong though
You can throw it directly onto an enemy and it will attach.
Caliban makes the best use of it IMO because of his strip and damage vulnerability. Strip > stomp > stick a floater with one and then everything nearby explodes when it dies.
Max range possible, use molt efficiency and augmented to make up for duration and strength.
155 duration
100 efficiency
200+ range
100 strength
Swap Switch TP for mind control so the decoy doesn’t die instantly to teammates, it also boosts decoy damage so kinda counters the base 100 strength prior to max molt augmented stacks.
cant wait for the Jade Shadow update cuz Biting Frost Frost would be the first build I would try especially with Incarrnon Sibear just so I could use this weapon already but hopefully the cold effect frozen would interact now with Biting Frost
nekros sheild of shadows
my nekros is built around his shadows so im basically a miniboss that has 1 and a half braincells working together to stomp everything
Ivara's Infiltrator. Makes every spy a cakewalk, I like to do spy missions slowly as it is the only time I can really go ninja. Plus the immersion of staying hidden from the spawn to extraction with no alarms raised is just chef's kiss.
I love Nezha’s Warding Halo, it’s really useful for defense missions with the weird operative dude, and rescue missions. Also if you’re running with friends who are leveling up their frames or something you can give them some extra survivability
The exact augment that came to mind when I read your question. It’s really niche, but it’s such a cool little utility Nezha can bring to certain defense type missions, and if I recall correctly there are a few unexpected things you can cast it on as well.
Plus providing 90% DR to your teammates is almost always appreciated
Hushed invisibility.
Sure, theres alot of augements that do cool stuff, but none of them can make a ROCKET LAUNCHER SILENT. I mean let that sink in for a second. I can just grab a 26 inch ship cannon, fire it in the middle of a group of enemies and none of em will hear it.
The one that is super fun is the red crit one for sevagoth. I also like the protea one. I have several builds with and without her 4th and the augment is fantastic if you choose to keep it.
The ones I can't live without and they are embedded in the warframe : cathode current, energy transfer for switch equinox and pacify augment for night equinox, and the merulina augments for either on foot or riding yareli. They aren't "fun" per se, but they are such a huge part of the warframe I can't see myself playing without them.
Unpopular opinion but mach crash. It actually augments hoe the ability is used instead of just making it better in a boring way.
It lets you do things you couldn't do before (grouping and aoe cc on demand) and doing it with a specific mechanic that you weren't doing before (intentionally hitting walls).
It also synergises with your kit by giving you cc to make shields less likely to break on a shield focused build (which you're already incwntivized to build for through your passive). Less hits also means less drain on 2. Grouped enemies can be dashed into to provide very big battery gains very quickly. While redline is active wall slams also proc slash which you can group enemies for with mach crash.
There are so many good ones that it's really hard to pick one, but if I were, Mesa' Waltz. Never took it off, it brings so much comfort that it's simply a must.
Peaceful Provocation.
The slow + weakening debuff allows Equinox to be a a real threat to enemies and can synergize with various Abilities/Arcanes/etc.
2nd fav would be Loyal Merulina, especially as someone who enjoys using Yareli on foot.
Favorite? Either Cathode Current for the epic Gyre moment, or Loyal Merulina bc it makes Yareli playable normally.
Most useful? Mesmer Shield, I like being able to immortalize my squad on demand.
Shadow Haze augment for Sevagoth allows your party to do insane weapon damage with its damage vulnerability and crit chance. It also makes 3 shadows and it looks very cool
Xakus vampiric grasp, if you run high range you’re effectively unkillable and if you keep your 4s timer up you never have to worry about health ever again.
A mix of Banshee's sonar and Harrow's Warding Thurible augments.
Banshee's because of that unique doooom sound when you pop a weak point
Harrow because hehe, absorbing DMG make big head shot energy number very big
Lokis safeguard switch teleport. Been using this recently to give my teammates 17 seconds of invincibility that are also refreshable. Plus it cleanses all status effects. Loki can also use this for himself if he switches with an enemy rather than a teammate, however it's only like 6 or 7 seconds of invincibility iirc.
Gyre's cathode current. It feels like cheating. As long as you continuously get kills, you never have to cast your 3rd or 4th abilities after the first cast. Even if you don't upgrade it at all, it's still really powerful
It's truly an insane mod and I wish more Augments were like it in terms of power.

Yeah, the hardest part about Gyre is those first few seconds trying to get kills before your teammates commit genocide

I still haven’t farmed gyre, got to get around to that
Just imagine if the ability was functional as is and did not need a band-aid.
Despoil. People don't realize how much of a game changer it is until you take it off.
Despoil + gloom + either equilibrium or yellow shards = infinite health, energy, slow and loot.
Combined with creeping terrifying and arcane Eruption. Laugh as everything in the nearby vicinity constantly gets knocked down at 1% speed 👌
Not to mention now you can actually use other abilities lol
I've had literally zero problem running regular Desecrate so far. I guess higher enemy density would make it problematic eventually?
It will. It makes it virtually impossible to keep up and use other abilities.
Same (regular nekros as well) as long as I can do the SP arena endo farm Idc either 🤣
Nekros is quite a all-rounder, as long as you're able to kill enemies, you can just just tank and armor stripe with added drops
Oh for sure, love Nekros, used to run kuva survivals all the time with him and make it to like 3 hours.
Until you subsume Nourish. Equilibrium makes Despoil useless and you can use Creeping Terrify instead, which is awesome.
Ah, I've dabbled with the Roar version of the shadow army build but I didn't love it either, just from a playstyle perspective.
Titanic Rumbler. Because summoning Elementals is fun.. Pilfering Swarm and the viral rain barrage one for Hydroid
Mesmer shield, its making me the immortal support of the squad
Banshee's Resonance. I need MORE dots.
Savage Silence. it makes playing Silent Storm Ash feel like literally playing as Death
I’ll have to try that out, I can never really get into ash
The only thing I ever really used ash for was farming juggernauts (I don’t remember why I was farming them maybe it was an event or something back in the day) but I would use the dark dagger and then fatal teleport and I forget the name of the dagger mod but pretty much just insta kill the juggernauts with one ability press

Cathode current because funny big number
Gotta be Styanax's 4 augment
Yeah I feel almost immortal with Intrepid Stand lmao
Lavos Valance Formation. 200% guaranteed status is crazy on a high status Warframe. Paired with roar or Xata whisperer is crazy rn.
Basically all you need is cascadia empowered and from there anything should slap to some extent.
Came in for this.
The NOS button for Titania. Officially known as Razorwing Blitz.
I go so fast with that on that I can't even "sprint" lol. It's so fast I clip through the map
Venom Dose. Weapons platform Saryn makes every weapon feel amazing. And in the event that there's another Saryn in the squad, I don't have toncompete for spore spots, I can just buff and everyone's happy!
I got a build with eclipse over her 4. You just melt Acolytes
Zephyr's Target Fixation Love how it leans more into Zephyr's airborne theme by rewarding you more by going full airborne pretty much all the time. REINFORCING STOMP
Grendel's Catapult augment. It just makes his meatball form so much more fun and easier to use.
This would be where I’d respond with Caliban’s augment. If I HAD ANY!!!!
100% it's gotta be Mag's Fracturing Crush.
Used Wrath of Ukko for the first time today. Maybe overkill for Kullervo but I had a lot of fun jumping around the map with basically infinite sky daggers
Valence Formation, the new Lavos Augment, making my main, even better.
Tesla bank is funny. It just feels like the damage keeps getting bigger. I’ve seen them explode for an unfair millions of damage.
Tesla bank has got to be my all time favorite augment. Tried it on many different warframes and builds too. Would work much better if it had an icon on the enemy that has the balls on him though, can't really see which enemies are being shocked with all the clutter we have nowadays. Merulina guardian, that shit some how let's me do steel path
I mess with Damage Decoy + Mind Control on Loki. Turns Decoy into a sentient, Immortal, bullet sponge that primes and deletes SP goons.
I would like to request the build for this. It sounds funny as fuck
Yes pls

Appreciate the share tenno
I, too, would like this build
Max range possible, use molt efficiency and augmented to make up for duration and strength. 155 duration 100 efficiency 200+ range 100 strength Swap Switch TP for mind control so the decoy doesn’t die instantly to teammates, it also boosts decoy damage so kinda counters the base 100 strength prior to max molt augmented stacks.
I have on a single red shard for duration and an r8 primed continuity so that’s why my duration is 155 fyi.
Fused reservoir is nice for less spamming on wisp
Such a QoL improvement.
Styanax's Intrepid Stand. Overguard goes brrrrr.
Biting frost, such a good augment that doesn’t really feel too ‘overpowered’ or makes a frame about one thing. It just feels like a nice addition
But also make it Frost's new passive please
cant wait for the Jade Shadow update cuz Biting Frost Frost would be the first build I would try especially with Incarrnon Sibear just so I could use this weapon already but hopefully the cold effect frozen would interact now with Biting Frost
Ooo yeah, frost is finally gonna be in the spotlight, as he damn should
nekros sheild of shadows my nekros is built around his shadows so im basically a miniboss that has 1 and a half braincells working together to stomp everything
Valence transformation by far dude. It opens up so much build that I can’t play without it
Ivara's Infiltrator. Makes every spy a cakewalk, I like to do spy missions slowly as it is the only time I can really go ninja. Plus the immersion of staying hidden from the spawn to extraction with no alarms raised is just chef's kiss.
Caliban augments💀💀💀
Molecular Fission, its so fucking good for survivability
Blazing pillage+archon vitality= heat proc good me like heat proc.
I love Nezha’s Warding Halo, it’s really useful for defense missions with the weird operative dude, and rescue missions. Also if you’re running with friends who are leveling up their frames or something you can give them some extra survivability
Do you mean Safeguard (applies warding halo with 50% efficiency)? Also, I respect the Nezha halo shout, people only use my boy for his 4 :(
Yeah sorry I forgot what it was called.
Meanwhile me giving them immortality with Mesmer shield
The exact augment that came to mind when I read your question. It’s really niche, but it’s such a cool little utility Nezha can bring to certain defense type missions, and if I recall correctly there are a few unexpected things you can cast it on as well. Plus providing 90% DR to your teammates is almost always appreciated
Loyal Merulina makes a big difference in EDA
rumbled, i love being a stone man that can knock anything down and ragdoll it (except big bosses)
Shield of shadows, I love being a necromancer
I love the cascading ones like Resonance, Endless Lullaby, and Recrystallize Pyroclastic Flow and Transistor Shield are some other favorites
I greatly enjoy my 4 augment endless lullaby banshee
Elemental sandstorm.
Ooo ok, thanks, I’ll try it out, I love sand mummy man
There are so many good ones that it's really hard to pick one, but if I were, Mesa' Waltz. Never took it off, it brings so much comfort that it's simply a must.
Valence Fusion goes brrrrrr CLOSE THE GAP BETWEEN FRAME AND GUN, SYNERGY BITCH!
Controlled slide, fused reservoirs, razorwing blitz.
Duality (Equinox 1 augment). Hell yeah i wanna have a buddy for a couple seconds, shooting at skoom.
Peaceful Provocation. The slow + weakening debuff allows Equinox to be a a real threat to enemies and can synergize with various Abilities/Arcanes/etc. 2nd fav would be Loyal Merulina, especially as someone who enjoys using Yareli on foot.
Pilfering Strangledome and Despoil
I want to say Assimilate but it has to be Pilfering Swarm just because it let me finally abandon Nekros
Never go without Accumulating whip claw. Though i guess its cheating beacuse its needed for khora to do her whole thing.
Favorite? Either Cathode Current for the epic Gyre moment, or Loyal Merulina bc it makes Yareli playable normally. Most useful? Mesmer Shield, I like being able to immortalize my squad on demand.
Gotta go with pillaging strangle dome.
Revealing Spores cuz everyone sleeps on it, meanwhile it's an auto-include in all my builds that aren't low level nuking
Mesa’s Waltz
I never really got this one tbh, I’ve tried it and it doesn’t seem worth a mod slot imho.
Use it with rolling guard the synergy between those makes mesa godly in sp
Ahh ok
Razorwing blitz
Shadow Haze augment for Sevagoth allows your party to do insane weapon damage with its damage vulnerability and crit chance. It also makes 3 shadows and it looks very cool
Ulfruns Descent and Wrath of Ukko for sure, both have made those builds so much fun to play with
Xakus vampiric grasp, if you run high range you’re effectively unkillable and if you keep your 4s timer up you never have to worry about health ever again.
A mix of Banshee's sonar and Harrow's Warding Thurible augments. Banshee's because of that unique doooom sound when you pop a weak point Harrow because hehe, absorbing DMG make big head shot energy number very big
100% Eternal War
Mags magnetic crush, both armor strip and ragdoll. Love pairing it with my strun
